Chapter 170: Chapter 170 Relax, sweetheart

Victoria’s POV

Damian’s lips curved into a cold smirk. Even though I had seen right through him, he didn’t seem to mind in the slightest.

Instead, he frankly admitted, "Yes." I adopted an "I knew it" expression. Damian Sterling was certainly no saint, especially when it came to revenge.

"This way, you can set a trap at any time. You could command the entire North Creek Pack to disappear," I continued, watching his reaction. "And now you’ve made Mona a ticking time bomb within the Sterling family, ready to explode at any moment."

Damian took a drink from the bottle. "If you want to admire me, I wouldn’t mind if you thought I was even more terrifying than that." My wolf let out a soft, playful huff.

"I don’t admire you," I retorted, feeling the alcohol slowly warm my veins. "As long as you don’t scheme against me, we’ll be fine." To be honest, I didn’t care how Damian interacted with his family. As long as the Sterling family’s political struggles didn’t affect me, it was none of my business.

"What if I *do* want to scheme against you?" he murmured, his eyes narrowing slightly, amber pupils glinting in the light. He leaned back, resting his chin on one hand. The bottle hung casually between his long fingers, his relaxed posture exuding a dangerous aura. The air between us grew thick with tension. The smoky cedar scent clinging to him intensified, and my heart skipped a beat.

"But if you scheme against me, I’ll retaliate, or even leave you," I continued. "You should know, I’m not some delicate she-wolf. I’d rather be your ally than your enemy. We’ve even shared drinks together—that practically makes us friends. Come on, if you’re seriously planning to take over the Crescent Moon Pack someday, at least give me a heads-up, alright?"

"Relax, sweetheart, I would never scheme against you," Damian said, his voice dropping to a low rumble. "As for the North Creek Pack, I’m actually interested in the Alpha’s heir."

"Taking over a pack means war."

"And war means a massive expenditure of money and resources."

"If I become the sole heir, I can become the Alpha of the North Creek Pack without lifting a finger." A glint of pure ambition lit his eyes as he spoke. I understood his ambition and drive. But I also feared that very trait. I constantly worried that in the future, he might turn his sights on me and my pack. That was the last thing I wanted to see happen. My wolf seemed to sense my apprehension, yet Nora trusted her mate without question. Nora’s attitude influenced me as well. Combined with the alcohol, I chose not to dwell on it for now.

"Cheers," I said, clinking my glass against his, breaking the tense atmosphere. I had bought plenty of alcohol, and as the night deepened, I drank far more than usual.

Eventually, Damian’s voice faded into a hazy background hum. I could hear the low, soothing tones right beside my ear, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying. I propped my chin on my hand, watching his perfectly formed lips move. The way they articulated words was mesmerizing.

Damian frowned slightly. "Victoria, are you even listening to me?"

"Huh?" I shifted my weight, propping myself up with my other hand. "What did you say?"

Damian sighed deeply, his chest rising and falling dramatically beneath his shirt. With unexpected patience, he repeated, "I said, your accident was definitely suspicious. There was something wrong with that driver, even if he’s dead now. Don’t blindly trust Patrick Wagner. I’ll investigate this thoroughly, so you don’t worry. Just focus on your own safety."

The moment he finished speaking, I reached out, grabbing his shirt and pulling him closer until his face was almost pressed against mine. Alcohol flushed my cheeks with heat. My breath mingled with the smoky cedar scent of him, and my inner wolf let out a low, satisfied purr.

Damian swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing. "And," he added, his voice rough, "don’t drink with other men. Someone might not be able to control themselves around you." As he spoke, my hand instinctively moved upwards to caress his face, tracing along his jawline before finally touching his lips.

"Has anyone ever told you how incredibly handsome you are?" I whispered, feeling Nora stir restlessly within me.

Damian froze, allowing my fingers to roam freely across his face. "Victoria, do you know what you’re doing?" His eyes deepened to the color of midnight, like black holes capable of swallowing entire galaxies. I blinked slowly, my gaze falling to his lips. His lips were beautiful, tempting.

Without warning, I leaned in and kissed his lips. It reminded me of when Damian first returned to town, and I had approached him, reeking of alcohol. But that time was different—I had used him to get revenge on Ethan. This time, I was drinking with him, with no ulterior motive. I didn’t close my eyes, maintaining eye contact with Damian as we kissed. My long eyelashes brushed his skin like tiny feathers.

"Open your mouth," I commanded suddenly. My tone was assertive, almost Alpha-like. Damian complied instantly, but first, he pulled back slightly, creating a small distance between us. Then he took out his phone and said, "Kiss me." As he started recording, I eagerly leaned in, kissing him again. Damian’s lips parted slightly, and I deepened the kiss. Usually, he was the one in control, but now the roles were reversed. My kiss wasn’t as fierce as his usually were. Even with his lips slightly parted to welcome me, my movements remained soft and languid, as if savoring a sweet taste.

After a moment, I released him. "Victoria..." Damian breathed my name, his voice hoarse with desire.

Before I could speak, I was pulled firmly into his warm, eager embrace. My clothes were quickly shed. His stiff, hard erection pressed against my delicate opening, and soon began to rub against me, teasingly. The friction built, a sizzling sound filling the air as his rhythm became more distinct. Damian was perhaps the most patient hunter in the world. Not only did his rigid shaft rub against me until I began to whimper and tremble, but his head repeatedly slipped into my tight, slick depths, only for him to deliberately pull back, circling and teasing the entrance again.

This tantalizing play, circling but not entering, grinding but not penetrating, was definitely no longer enough to satisfy me. On the brink of climax, I felt a deeper itch and longing, my lower abdomen trembling like surging waves, desperately yearning to capture and entwine something. This repeated frustration of expectation made my core ache and itch unbearably, my whimpers growing louder and more distinct.

Damian held my slender waist with one hand, while the other brushed away the tangled hair from my face. His thumb and forefinger cupped my chin, and he asked in a low, husky voice, "Baby, you want me?"

"Mmm... hurry, come inside..." I whimpered, plainly stating my desperate craving for him. What was more, driven by the unbearable ache and itch, I instinctively lifted my hips, arching my body towards the powerful beast between his legs. This provocative, lustful display was surely enough to drive any man wild. Yet, to my surprise, Damian stubbornly insisted on hearing those words: "Hmm, then say it. Say you want me." He kissed my half-closed eyelids tenderly, continuing to entice me.

"Yes... I want you... ohh... Damian, please, just hurry and come inside... Ah!"

The man finally got what he desired. His hard, hot shaft plunged in with irresistible force, returning to its rightful home. The full, distending sensation made my entire body tense, including my sensitive core. For the thick shaft buried inside me, it was the most comfortable embrace and retention. Each time he first entered, we would both let out muffled gasps in unison—one soft and feminine, one deep and guttural—intertwining into an especially moving sound.

The thrusting started slow and built to a fervent pace, my moans keeping perfect rhythm. Damian often couldn’t resist leaning in to kiss me, but I was being driven so intensely that I periodically needed to gasp for air, forcing our kisses to break. In those moments, he would explore elsewhere, either setting fire to the skin behind my ear with his lips and tongue, or arching his back to nip at my flushed, aching nipples. His lips and tongue, in short, never strayed far from my body, determined to intertwine with me from head to toe.

With his shaft constantly moving in and out between my legs, I could only feel the intense excitement and pleasure emanating from that one spot. In that moment, I was once again a happily unthinking hedonist. It was wonderful. I convulsed into climax, trembling with each unpredictable thrust from Damian, crying out lustfully, casting aside every single bothersome thought that shouldn’t occupy my mind. My body went limp, softer and softer, until my legs could no longer even wrap around Damian’s waist.

"Tired?" In this position, I lay pressed even closer to his chest, and with his thrusts, my flushed nipples quivered against him, tracing invisible patterns on his skin.

"Mmm... I didn’t... sleep well last night... and now... ah... too deep..." I mumbled, reaching up to cling to his shoulders, trying to pull away. His thrusting, however, obediently softened, and he murmured softly, sucking at the skin behind my ear, "Mmm, if you’re sleepy, just go to sleep... It’s okay, I’ll watch over you." His gentle voice touched me deeply. I actually enjoyed making love with him. But I was truly exhausted. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

So I quickly fell asleep against him. These past few days had been utterly draining—not from work, but from personal matters. Alcohol and sex had lulled my mind into a blissful numbness. In a hazy state of consciousness, I felt Damian’s strong arms supporting my back. My last memory was of being lifted and carried to a more comfortable place.
