Chronicles Of A Fallen Angel-Chapter 25: Your Ex Wife got a Good Mouth *
I woke to sunlight streaming through unfamiliar windows and the warm weight of a woman against my side.
For a moment, I just lay there, processing. Vivienne’s bedroom. The successful retrieval. The night that had gone far beyond what I’d planned.
She was still asleep, her dark hair splayed across the pillow, one arm draped across my chest. Peaceful. Vulnerable in a way I suspected few people ever saw.
I carefully extracted myself, finding my pants and pulling them on. The Crimson Tear sat on the dresser where Vivienne had left it – mission accomplished. I pocketed it, then headed downstairs.
Her kitchen was as elegant as the rest of the house. I found coffee beans and a grinder, went through the motions of making a proper cup. The routine was grounding, normal, a stark contrast to everything that had happened. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

My phone buzzed. Multiple missed calls from Marco, several texts from Sarah. Shit. In the aftermath of last night, I’d completely forgotten to check in.
I was about to call back when the phone rang again. Marco.
"Finally," he said the moment I answered. "We’ve been trying to reach you all fucking night. What happened? Did you get it?"
"Got it. Everything went according to plan."
"According to plan? You went radio silent for twelve hours. Sarah was ready to stage a rescue."
"Wasn’t necessary. The target was... cooperative." I sipped my coffee, leaning against the counter.
"Cooperative how? Did you – "
"I got the necklace. That’s what matters." I heard voices in the background. "Where are you?"
"Safehouse. And we’ve got a problem. Victor Castellano showed up an hour ago demanding updates. He’s pissed, Cain. Thinks we’re stalling."
"We’re not stalling. I have his necklace."
"Then get your ass back here and – hold on." The phone muffled, and I heard arguing. Then a new voice came on the line.
"Who is this?" Smooth, cultured, with the faint accent of old European money. Victor Castellano.
"The guy who has your necklace."
"Ah. The retrieval specialist." His tone shifted, became sharper. "Marco tells me you spent the night at my ex-wife’s home. I hope you were professional about this."
"Completely professional."
"Because Vivienne is... difficult. Vindictive. If she suspected anything, she’d make the retrieval impossible." A pause. "You didn’t tell her you were working for me, did you?"
"I’m not an amateur."
"Good. Because she’s probably still bitter about the divorce. Probably hasn’t even moved on." He laughed, the sound grating. "She always was too emotional. Couldn’t separate business from personal."
I felt movement behind me and turned to find Vivienne standing in the doorway, wearing nothing but my shirt from last night. Her hair was tousled, lips still slightly swollen, and she looked thoroughly ravished.
Our eyes met.
She’d heard him. I could see it in her expression – the flash of anger, hurt, then something calculating.
She moved silently across the kitchen toward me, and I raised an eyebrow in question. She pressed a finger to her lips, then pointed at the phone, then at herself.
She wanted to listen in.
" – probably sitting at home alone right now," Victor was saying. "That’s what she does. Sulks. Acts like she’s fine but she’s falling apart without me. I almost feel bad for her."
Vivienne’s expression darkened, but then something shifted. Her eyes dropped to the front of my pants, and a wicked smile crossed her face.
Oh no.
She dropped to her knees in front of me.
I tried to step back, but she grabbed my hips, holding me in place. Her fingers went to my waistband, and I mouthed "What are you doing?"
She just grinned and pulled my pants down.
" – listening?" Victor’s voice came through. "I asked if she was difficult."
"She was fine," I managed, trying to keep my voice steady as Vivienne freed my cock. "No complications."
"Really? Because she usually – "
His words cut off in my brain as Vivienne’s tongue dragged up the length of my shaft. My hand gripped the counter hard enough to hurt.
"Usually what?" I forced out.
"Usually makes things difficult. Asks questions, gets suspicious." Victor sighed. "I swear, the woman can’t help but complicate everything. It’s exhausting."
Vivienne took me into her mouth, and I had to bite back a groan. She worked me with clear expertise, her tongue doing things that made my vision blur. But her eyes stayed locked on mine, dark with anger and something else. Defiance. Revenge.
She was going to make me lose control while her ex-husband talked shit about her.
"You still there?" Victor asked.
"Yeah," I ground out. "Just... checking something."
Vivienne took me deeper, relaxing her throat, and I felt myself hit the back of it. Fuck. My free hand moved to her hair without conscious thought, tangling in the dark strands.
"So the necklace is secure?" Victor pressed.
"Very secure." My voice came out strained, and Vivienne’s eyes glinted with satisfaction. She pulled back, tongue swirling around the head of my cock, before taking me deep again.
"Good. Because that piece is important to my family. Vivienne never understood that. She just wanted to hurt me, taking it in the divorce." He laughed again. "Typical woman behavior. Can’t let go, has to punish me for moving on."
Vivienne pulled off my cock with an audible pop, pumped me with her hand while she caught her breath. Then she looked up at me and mouthed: "Is he still talking about me?"
I nodded.
Her smile was pure venom. Then she took me back in her mouth and started working me in earnest.
" – bet she’s home alone right now," Victor continued, oblivious. "Probably hasn’t even gone on a date since we split. She always was too uptight. Never knew how to just relax and enjoy herself."
I looked down at Vivienne – his supposedly uptight ex-wife – who was currently deepthroating me with enthusiasm that would make a pornstar jealous. Her cheeks hollowed as she sucked, her hand working what didn’t fit in her mouth, and I felt my control slipping.
"Victor," I said, voice rough. "I need to go."
"Wait, when can I get the – "
"Soon. I’ll call you back." I hung up before he could respond, my hand tightening in Vivienne’s hair. "Fuck, Vivienne – "
She pulled off long enough to speak. "Too uptight?" Her voice was low, dangerous. "Never knew how to relax?"
"He’s an idiot."
"Damn right he is." She took me back in, and this time there was no teasing. She sucked me hard and fast, her hand pumping in rhythm, and I felt my orgasm building rapidly.
"Vivienne, I’m gonna – "
She didn’t pull away. Instead, she took me deeper, her eyes locked on mine in challenge.
I came with a groan I couldn’t suppress, flooding her mouth. She swallowed it all, working me through it, milking every drop before finally releasing me.
She sat back on her heels, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, looking incredibly pleased with herself.
"Too uptight," she repeated. "That bastard."
