Chasing The Vengeful Villainous Heiress-Chapter 133: Ah, you always find a way to spoil my plans
"Where are we going, precisely?" Valerie asked, gazing through the window as Max drove through the streets.
"You already guessed it, hun." He said and she turned to look at him.
"Really? The movies?"
"Yup."
Valerie twisted her head a bit, surprised that they were actually going there. She just said he was dressed like he was going, she didn’t really think they would go.
Really, the movies? What was this? Some teen romance drama?
"You know, that movie we watched when we were kids," he said, subtly glancing at her from the wheels and then returning his gaze to the road. "The one about..."
"Bicycles?" She called, almost like a gasp escaping her lungs.
"Haha, you remember." Max said.
Valerie looked shocked. Well, more like stunned. That movie... How could she forget it? It was the first and only movie she watched when she went on a date with Max, back then when they were dating.
"We’re going to watch that? Don’t you think it’ll be kinda old?" She asked but he shook his head.
"It got a remake." He said. "And it just came out. I wanted to come here with you and re-live that day."
"What do you mean?"
There was a red light so he had to stop the car for a moment. It was more than enough for him to look away from the wheels and show the expression on his face.
"That day didn’t end the way I planned it." He said, his eyes falling in a little sadness. But then, he looked up and smiled at her. "I want us to re-live that day, but with our older selves. This was the surprise I planned out for us."
Valerie was silent. Well, that was unexpected. To think he wanted to take things that far.
Well, they were already married so going on dates was a normal thing but... What’s this about reliving the past?
It wasn’t a big deal. Besides, she enjoyed that day so much that she didn’t know if she would be able to re-live that same joy. That was already enough.
"Instead of re-living the past," she reached out for his hand that was resting on the gear. "Why not make more happy memories that far surpass that?" She smiled. "I know it didn’t end well that day but trust me, it was a day I could never forget. Let’s make more days like that, Max. We don’t have to re-live."
Max smiled, taking her hand on his and pressing it against his lips.
"Ah, you always find a way to spoil my plans."
"That’s why you should consult with me before making such plans." She said, smiling bashfully.
Max stared with warm eyes. Yeah, maybe he should.
That day, when they had their first date, he could never imagine a day would come when he would have Valerie as his wife, sleeping and eating together, telling jokes, and getting on each other’s skin.
It was honestly a dream he never dared to have. Yet, that never-dared dream found its way to come true. And he was happy.
"Alright," he said, turning on his engine. "But, we’re still going to the movies."
"I had a feeling you’d say that." She said.
"Yeah, and there is something that’s completely different from what we did back then as well."
"What is it?"
"You’ll see."
He hit the engine and off they went.
They watched the movie together but since it was an old movie, even though it was a remake, not many people were present in the theater.
It was very scanty so people could sit anywhere and Max chose the farthest and darkest corner to sit, where he knew he could carry out his mischief without anyone seeing.
"Hello, would you like to refill your popcorn?" A vendor asked, standing next to their seats with a smile on.
Valerie had her head rested on Max’s shoulder, and suspiciously clinging on to his shirt.
"Not really, thank you." Max said and the vendor was about to leave when he said, "Hold on. Let me ask my wife. She seems to be asleep." He said with his mischievous grin.
"Sure."
"Valerie, dear, would you like some popcorn? The one we bought is already empty." He said and Valerie seemed to twitch, clutching his shirt even tighter.
But she managed to shake her head.
"Ah, she doesn’t want one." He said and smiled at the vendor who blushed at the handsome man’s smile. "Sorry for keeping your time."
"No, it’s no problem. Please, enjoy the movie." The vendor left and Max dropped his gaze to Valerie.
"You held on well without coming off as suspicious. Well done, wife. I’m impressed that you could hold your voice for so long. You’re usually pretty loud, even down there." He brimmed.
"Crazy... Bastard." Valerie cussed under her breath.
"Now, now, you can’t swear at your dear husband. After all, all I do is give you pleasure. You should appreciate my efforts." He said with a gleeful look on his face.
He was enjoying this. He...
Max, who had been fingering Valerie, took his fingers out and grinned at her wetness, while she took in breaths of exhaustion. It took a lot from her to keep her voice in at all times.
"Now, that’s a good girl. Do you want me to keep going?" He asked but Valerie glared at him.
They were in an open space where others could see them... Again. Why did such things expire her husband and why did it excite her too?
She was even too scared to admit that she was excited, scared that he may take things to another level but her body was already betraying her and being a tattle tale.
"Max, stop this." Valerie said and Max glanced around. No one was looking. The other couple watching with them was also at the other end in another row.
Anyone could assume they were doing the same business this couple was involved in.
"Come on, if you’re quiet, no one will find out." He whispered in her ear and nibbled on her ear lobe. "How about it?"
Valerie gritted her teeth.
’Re-live that day, my ass. How am I supposed to watch the movie when you do this?’
She glanced at the giant screen showing the movie. The voices were enough to even overshadow them, who were watching it.
