Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 273: Wife and husband- III
Evelyn was sleepy, hell, a few more minutes and she would be in a deep sleep just as he wanted.
That would be the courtesy to the sleeping pill that he had slipped inside her water while they were having dinner and she was paying attention to Arabella.
Whatever he had done today was something that was going to stay on his conscience but it had to be done because Evelyn would never agree to it.
It had to be done especially after the cold that he had received today. The cold that was likely to change the future because of food they were taking on and planning to destroy.
The final nod of her head and Evelyn dropped the book before leaning over the couch in inhumane way as the medication took over and she fell asleep.
He reached over to her from the spot that he was watching her from. Picking her up in his arms, he let her down on the bed before ringing the intercom. Marco had been spoken on what to do.
"Sir," Marco Entered with a private doctor right behind him. He had been paid for by the organisation and worked inside more than he worked in hospital to pay of the debt.
"Go ahead."
Salvatore have him a nod before stepping away from the bed and allowing him to get near Evelyn.
He pulled out two syringes, one bigger than the other before taking over the small box that Salvatore had set aside.
"Where would you like me to install this?" He held up the microchip. "I can go for the ribs, or the back of the elbow. Hardly noticeable there."
Salvatore’s eyes flickered over to the elbow of his wife. Evelyn had an unconscious habit of rubbing her arms, especially her bony elbows. There was no way in hell she would not notice a small bump there.
"Go for the ribs." He told the doctor who Immediately got to work. It only took a few minutes for it to be over, the microchip was injected and in the want to watch the stage with an invisible thread.
Evelyn would barely notice the pain.
On his phone, he immediately heard the ping that the microchip tracker had started to work, telling him about her position right to the meter that she was away from him.
Once the microchip injection was out of use, the doctor placed it inside before turning to Salvatore as he held the other syringe.
"Are you sure about this one?" He asked the dawn. "Should she not be conscious for this?"
The stare of the dawn was enough for the doctor to turn around and get to work immediately. He was in no state of asking questions.
Just above the thigh, the needle of the syringe pierced the skin of his voice and the liquid was injected inside her.
He watched it from his eyes. There was no spinach, no leaking out of the skin when the doctor pulled out of the syringe before using a small dabe of cotton to cleanse the area.
Before long, the doctor had packed up all his stuff and was out of the house right beside Marco who had shown him the way out leaving the husband and the sleeping wife alone in the room.
A few things had to be done that were out of the choice, for her and for him.

Evelyn felt disoriented and tired right after she woke up. That had not happened since Arabella had started to sleep the entire night by herself.
She blinked a few times to get rid of the blurriness and the laziness that came after waking up today. What happened?
"You’re up," A voice called out and Evelyn jerked up to see a new maid. Someone she had never seen before and hence coming to the conclusion that she had just been hired.
"Who are you?" She rasped out. Supposedly, introductions were in order and Marco was not here to wake make them.
"Savannah," she answered with a hesitant smile, almost as if realising that she must’ve made a mistake to receive that reaction from Evelyn, " I have been working under aagatta for quite some time."
Agatha? Then it clicked. "You are here to work for me." Evelyn stated but more like an accusation. "I told her not to send you."
"Well.." she gulped, "this isn’t something I am supposed to decide about. You can talk to Don about it, he approved of it."
Salvatore had approved of it. Evelyn fell back on the bed. Then there was no reason to discuss it anymore, because if they don had said yes, it was going to take a lot of time to move his mind and that would just be a waste.
"So you are going to do everything that Agatha does for the former Donna, yes?"
"Yes ma’am."
Well then. "Start by preparing my morning routine." if she had been sent help, Evelyn was going to make use of it.
And it was A good decision after all. Most of the things that Evelyn Had been doing on her own had been passed on to Savannah and she was able to spend even more time with Arabella that the is the little child welcomed happily.
However, there was one thing that ever and had noticed and that was that Salvatore was yet to make an appearance.
Where was he?
"Ma’am," Savannah came closer to her ear, " I received a page. The Don wants you to be ready by nine for a gala."
And her husband was not here to tell her that? "Where is he?"
"On a video call." Came her answer.
What is the video call never suppose to end? Why had he sent someone out of all to tell her about something he could have easily told her about over the phone?
"Is he in his office?" Evelyn asked Savannah who noted in confirmation.
"Well then," Evelyn stood up, "I’ll be back in 10 minutes. Take care of Arabella. Iona will help you."
It was about time she taught the Don how to communicate with his wife.
