Chapter 346: Chapter 354: A Beautiful Person

"Then let’s try both." Jane Sampson saw a black one in the publicity, but the moment she heard there was a bright red, she was tempted too.

She loved the color bright red. Every time she wore it, it could turn someone’s eyes and nose upside down with fury.

Jane Sampson entered the dressing room, and James Black sat on the sofa near the doorway with much patience. He wasn’t like one of the men sitting next to him, who would pass the time by looking at his mobile phone, nor was he like another gentleman who would pick up the colorful magazines from the table. Instead, he stared intently at the door of the dressing room Jane had entered.

Jane’s hand was injured, making it inconvenient for her to dress, so the salesperson followed her into the room to help, but it still took her longer than others.

James glanced at the time on his wrist; she had been inside for over a minute. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

He got up and walked toward the dressing room. Just as he was about to ask if Jane needed his help, the dressing room door opened.

Wearing the black dress, Jane Sampson stepped out with a smiling face and stood before him. Holding the skirt hem with her uninjured left hand, she twirled on the spot and asked him with a mischievous smile, "Does it look good?"

"It looks good," James nodded. Yes, she looked good.

She had been good-looking since she was young, and over the many years, that had not changed one bit.

Jane was utterly delighted by James’s unequivocal praise. "Then I’ll go try on the red one!"

Jane checked herself out in the mirror, then re-entered the dressing room.

This time around, she was slightly quicker than just now. James didn’t sit back down on the sofa; he stood by the door as usual, and Jane saw him immediately upon exiting the dressing room.

"How about the red one? Does it look good?" Jane asked him before she even had a chance to look in the mirror.

James’s gaze lingered on her lips for a few seconds, then he shifted it somewhat unnaturally and nodded with a grunt.

Indeed, it looked good. Wearing red, she seemed even more radiant, and even her lips, which she had applied lipstick to before leaving home, appeared more enticing.

James thought she probably hadn’t eaten much at noon. After all, her hand wasn’t very convenient, and her lipstick was almost untouched and still perfect.

"So, between the black and the red, which color looks better?" Jane puzzled over her reflection in the mirror and then looked up to see James standing behind her. "Which color do you think looks better on me?"

"Madam, your fair skin makes you look particularly attractive in any color. And your figure is excellent, like a natural clothes hanger. It just depends on which color you prefer," the salesperson said sweetly.

Jane chuckled gleefully at the compliment, no woman could resist such sincere flattery.

"Which color do you like?" James asked, patting Jane’s head.

"I don’t know; they both seem beautiful." Jane shrugged, then swayed the skirt hem in front of James, "Such a vexing question."

"Then we’ll take both," James said to the salesperson standing behind Jane.

He couldn’t provide an answer to which looked better. In his eyes, Jane was beautiful, so everything she wore looked beautiful, and thus this question’s answer was infallible—to buy both would certainly be no mistake.

Sure enough, Jane stared at him blankly for a moment, then slowly, her smile grew so wide she could barely contain it.
