CEO's Reborn Wife-Chapter 26 - 34: Don’t Want to Argue
Bright Sampton sat there and finally understood the reason Jane Sampson was suddenly taken away by James Black last night, his anger causing him to hurl the bowl and chopsticks in his hand out.
"Mom, did Julie Sampton coax you into taking back the shares meant for my sister and giving them to her?" Bright Sampton turned and yelled, naming names, "Julie Sampton, can you not be so shameless and greedy? Aren’t what mom has given you enough? Why are you still eyeing my sister’s share! When you came back, didn’t mom give you all of the remaining shares? You got more than my sister and I from our mother’s share, aren’t you satisfied yet?"
"Bright Sampton!" Julie Sampton stood up abruptly, her eyes red with rage. She was already annoyed because Jane Sampson refused to help, and now Bright Sampton was berating her, as if she had no temper and was just a softie who let people walk all over her!
"Don’t shout at me; I don’t want to argue with you right now," said Bright Sampton, afraid he could no longer control his temper and might end up quarreling with Julie Sampton in front of their mother, so he kicked the chair away and went upstairs. After grabbing his stuff, he left a message that he was going back to school and departed.
Watching the furious retreating figure of Bright Sampton, Julie Sampton sat there, crying uncontrollably, prompting Mother Sampton’s heart to ache.
"Stop crying, it breaks mom’s heart to see you like this. You know how Bright Sampton can be; don’t get into a fight with him. It’s your own health that will suffer," Mother Sampton quickly embraced her daughter, comforting her softly.
"Mom, I’m the biological daughter of the Sampton family. I’m daddy and mother’s daughter, I’m Bright Sampton’s real sister. Why does he always treat me like this? And Jane, our parents raised her for so many years and found her such a good husband’s family. Was it wrong for me to ask her for help? Mom, look at how Jane is today, listen to the tone of her voice..."
"Maybe she’s just not in a good mood. After all, when we were discussing the shares that day, James Black suddenly appeared and said some unpleasant things. It’s possible that she was scolded by James Black after going back, and then she still changed the shares back. Perhaps James Black is also upset, so she’s not in a good mood today either," Mother Sampton instinctively tried to explain for Jane Sampson, "She didn’t use to talk like this, so don’t take it to heart today. When Mother Sampton received the agreement, she didn’t call her, which Jane Sampson had already become accustomed to by now. Once the Star River Entertainment newcomer training class started, Jane Sampson went to register straight away.
Since Star River Entertainment provided employee dormitories and, additionally, the company was far from home, which meant she would face the rush hour every time after class, leading to long traffic jams. After attending two days of class, Jane Sampson simply packed her stuff and moved into the dormitory prepared by the company.
Jane Sampson’s life during the learning period was fulfilling and busy, with courses arranged that almost took up the whole day’s time. In the evening, when everyone returned to the dormitory, they were so tired that they’d quickly fall into a deep sleep after taking a bath. Then they’d be woken up again the next day as soon as dawn broke for morning training.
