CEO's Reborn Wife-Chapter 221 - 229: Chaos Again
Jane Sampson tugged hard.
Ugh, she couldn’t pull away, her small hand was tightly held by someone.
So annoying!
Thus, Jane just imitated James Black’s manner, turning her head to appreciate the scenery outside the window, and just like that, they arrived outside the doorway of the tourism zone.
This was probably the first time that Jane had ridden in a car without playing with her mobile phone, a memorable event for an internet addict girl.
Nowadays, with the prevalence of mobile phones, even entrance tickets can be bought on them. Don’t look at James Black as someone who usually doesn’t play with his phone, but when it comes to electronic tickets, he is even more skilled than Jane.
Standing at the doorway to the Ticket Office, he glanced at the instruction sign, leading Jane by the hand, he operated his phone single-handedly and easily bought two electronic tickets. They skipped the long queue at the Ticket Office and, when entering, they didn’t have to wait at the entrance for ticket checks, one by one.
Once they entered the tourism zone, Jane couldn’t help but take a few more glances at James Black, to the point where he couldn’t help but turn back and look at her.
"What are you looking at?" asked James Black.
"Surprised. I didn’t expect you to be that handy with technology." Not like those people in queues, who, even with a mobile phone, are fumbling and constantly asking others if they’re doing it right.
"I’m not an idiot," snorted James Black. He might not have an addiction to playing with his phone, but men have a natural advantage with electronics. He doesn’t need to play with his phone daily to know every function it has.
Jane tapped the tip of her nose and giggled. When she saw James Black let go of her hand, her smile deepened. Just as she thought to dash ahead by a few steps, James Black called out to her.
"Walk at a normal pace, don’t hop and jump around. Save your energy, we’re going on a mountain climb soon," James Black reminded Jane, then asked her to stop.
"Put on a mask and sunglasses," James Black urged Jane, who was eager to move forward with the group of tourists. Watching her ponytail swing to and fro, he reached out and took the mask and sunglasses from her hands, and personally helped her put them on.
"Why do I need to wear a mask?" Jane could understand wearing sunglasses because the sun was strong here.
But why wear a mask?
Could it be that James Black was afraid her fans might recognize her in the tourism zone?
Honestly, Jane didn’t think she was that famous yet.
James Black didn’t answer Jane’s question but instead reached for the red scarf draped around her neck and pulled it down, covering her forehead with it. He was about to fix it in place, but Jane shook her head vigorously, clearly unhappy with this Indian-like attire.
"So ugly! I refuse!" complained Jane. "Your taste is questionable!"
James Black chuckled and with one hand, he stabilized Jane’s constantly moving head, which was shaking like a Great General acting spoiled, pressing it against his chest, "Keep fidgeting, and we’re going back out."
That one sentence immediately calmed down Jane, who up till then resembled someone with ADHD.
Jane didn’t doubt for a second that if she didn’t behave, she wouldn’t be able to outrun James Black, who even in this place, could drag her out.
Jane didn’t know how James Black managed it, but feeling somewhat lifeless, she buried her face in his chest, letting his hands fiddle with her head. When he said it was all set, the scarf was securely tied around her head.
