"Go to sleep." James Black hugged the person in his arms tightly.

Jane Sampson didn’t say anything, she just moved her head and snuggled closer to James Black’s chest.

After a few minutes passed.

James Black thought she had fallen asleep when suddenly she moved again, raised her head, blinked at him, and whispered softly, "James, do you want to use a kiss card?"

Saying this, her little hand reached for his pocket, and James Black promptly grasped her wrist.

"A kiss?" Jane Sampson pouted and looked at James Black, shaking her hand unhappily and whining twice, "A kiss~"

James Black laughed softly, with one hand supporting the back of her head and the other cupping her face, he lowered his head and kissed her.

Her small hands wrapped around his neck, her head slightly tilted upwards, letting him kiss her, while also responding to him.

In this kiss, it felt like the world was spinning; in their eyes and hearts, at this moment, there was nothing else but each other.

Jane Sampson opened her eyes and could see the emotions in James Black’s eyes; her hand slowly rose and touched his eyelid.

Only then did James Black stop kissing her, and with a raspy voice, he asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Will you come tomorrow?" Jane Sampson asked gloomily.

"Sleep." James Black said softly.

Jane Sampson knew his answer at once, so she didn’t ask about the day after tomorrow either.

"That’s fine." She nodded gently, "Look at the dark circles under your eyes, you must rest well. I will be in the film crew, and you can trust me. When I finish filming, if you’re still not well, I’ll wait for you at home obediently."

"Okay." James Black hugged the person in his arms tightly again, "When I get home, I’ll spend two good days with you."

"I’d be foolish to believe you." Jane Sampson rolled her eyes at James Black, "Rather than you spending time with me, it’s more like I’ll be keeping you company. You’re definitely going to take me to the guard team for a little stayover."

James Black was amused by Jane Sampson’s disdainful look, he kissed her on her small lips and said, "Go to sleep."

Jane Sampson giggled, nodded, and hugged James Black’s waist with both hands, finally closing her eyes and gradually falling asleep surrounded by his scent.

Because there was night filming last night and Jane Sampson’s scenes weren’t very demanding, the director didn’t schedule her for an early scene.

She slept until her alarm clock rang at 8 o’clock. The first thing Jane Sampson did when she opened her eyes was reach out to touch the side.

No one.

At this moment, a door opening sound came from the doorway, Jane Sampson stood up and called out from the bed, "James, is that you?"

"No." Coco Edwards walked in, "Your Father Black left at a few minutes past 4 a.m."

James Black had taken Jane Sampson’s access card from Coco Edwards, so Coco knew when James arrived and when he left.

"The tacit understanding between husband and wife, us single dogs can’t comprehend. So far away, yet he can still see you just by a silhouette... He specifically came to see you at past 2 o’clock last night."

Coco Edwards clicked her tongue several times, "You’re up early looking for your Father Black again?"
