Jane Sampson has her own makeup room and a designated makeup artist responsible for her styling.

After Jane Sampson led Coco Edwards inside, makeup artist Sister Candice was tidying up the stuff on the dressing table while greeting Jane Sampson, then she said, "Little Jane, I have something to tell you."

"You can go ahead, Sister Candice," Jane Sampson nodded and sat down next to Sister Candice.

"My husband just happened to come here on a business trip yesterday, so I didn’t stay at the hotel with the film crew but went to stay with him instead. His hotel was arranged by his company; it’s a five-star hotel in the city district, and it so happened that this morning, when I was coming out, I bumped into Jillian Carter being surrounded by reporters."

Sister Candice paused her work and then sat down next to Jane Sampson, "I heard Jillian Carter giving an interview to the reporters. Right in front of them, she said she’s decided to officially leave the circle."

"Did the reporters also ask about her relationship with our little Jane Sampson?" Coco Edwards followed up with a question.

"Yes." Sister Candice nodded, "So I stood there curiously and listened. I heard Jillian Carter saying that she and you are good friends, that the things previously spread on the internet are all false. Then a reporter asked her about the reason why she took over the female lead in ’The President’s Wife is Not Human’, and she replied it was because you’ve terminated the contract with the crew, and it just so happened that she and the director are friends, and she just wanted to try acting, so she took on the role you did not want."

"She also said that because of her brother and her mom, you two have a very good relationship." Sister Candice said, "Jillian Carter mentioned that after realizing through the little fox fairy role, she wasn’t really suited to be an actor, she decided to leave the circle. She said while having dinner last night, she talked about her plans after leaving with you and Mr. Carter, and you both supported her decision."

Sister Candice snorted at this, "Others might not know, but how could I not know? I’ve been in this circle for more than a decade, met countless people, and I’m well aware that Jillian Carter and you, your relationship truly isn’t that great just because of Mr. Carter and Teacher Yang."

Sister Candice is definitely a seasoned insider. What others don’t know, Sister Candice knows very well, so she specifically lingered a while earlier in the morning when she saw Jillian Carter being interviewed.

Besides watching the commotion and seeing Jillian Carter rationalize her words, it also involved Jane Sampson, and as Jane Sampson’s makeup artist, she’s among the few who gets along well with Jane Sampson in the film crew. She really likes Jane Sampson, the easygoing big brand actor.

"Did the reporters follow up on what Jillian Carter plans to do after leaving the circle?" Jane Sampson asked with a speculative smile; this smile, however, never reached her eyes.

"Yes." Sister Candice glanced at Jane Sampson and ambiguously said, "Seems you’re a clever person."

Only a clever person would, after hearing those words, directly hit the nail on the head by asking the most critical question.

"Jillian Carter said, she’s decided to start her own clothing brand, establishing an independent clothing company from design to production. She even said she had discussed with you, and once her brand is up, she would definitely design some clothes from her brand just for you, and you would help promote her brand."

When Sister Candice said this, Coco Edwards couldn’t help but grit her teeth, "This is the most shameless person I’ve ever seen, bar none."
