CEO's Reborn Wife-Chapter 1504 - 1512: Too Heartless
"Yay!" Quincy Forest cheered, pressed the bell, and called the waiter outside the door into the room. She quickly began ordering dish after dish, showing absolutely no concern for Kane Forest’s wallet.
When the waiter kindly reminded them that the three of them had ordered a bit too much, Quincy Forest waved her hand nonchalantly. "No worries, nothing will go to waste. Whatever we can’t finish, I’ll pack up and take home for Alexander Forest."
"I’ll thank you on behalf of Alexander Forest in advance." Kane Forest felt the urge to record Quincy Forest’s last sentence and play it for Alexander Forest. This was supposed to be his dear younger sister.
"No need for thanks! We’re siblings, after all. Since I’m out here dining with Cousin Kane, I’ve given all my love and care to you, so naturally, I’ll save the rest of my affection for my real brother." Quincy Forest never lost a battle of words.
If it were Alexander Forest, she might still consider holding back. But for Kane Forest? Quincy Forest had more than enough skill to leave him speechless. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
After all, Kane Forest wasn’t about to use the tactics he employed against company employees on her, so she had zero fear.
"Alright, is there anything else you’d like to order?" The waiter, amused by Quincy Forest’s comments, couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Yes! Coffee!" Quincy Forest snapped her fingers. "I want a cup of your shop’s signature Blue Mountain. I saw it on the menu earlier—it looked like it’s especially authentic!"
"Me too!" Jane Sampson chimed in. "I never expected such a hidden gem in Capital Province. Following Mr. Forest truly leads to so many delicious finds. If Mr. Forest brought us here, then this place has to be good."
"Alright, two signature Blue Mountains." The waiter nodded and then turned to the only gentleman in the room. "And what about you, sir? Anything you’d like to order?"
"I’ll have a cup of the signature Blue Mountain as well. And please, change their two coffees to fresh juice instead. Thank you, that’ll be all. You may go now." Kane Forest smiled at the waiter to signal they could leave.
The waiter froze for a moment, instinctively glancing at the two girls, who were equally dumbfounded.
"Coffee isn’t good for your skin, especially for you girls," Kane Forest explained after thinking for a moment. "Particularly you, Jane. You’ll need to maintain a good state for an upcoming shoot."
"I have absolutely no words." Jane Sampson sat there, stunned, unable to find a good retort to save her coffee.
"What about me? I’m not going on camera!" Quincy Forest exclaimed, her temper flaring.
"As her good friend, you wouldn’t have the heart to let her watch us drink coffee while she can’t, right? So, you’ll join her in having fresh juice." Kane Forest replied.
"No, I totally have the heart for it." Quincy Forest shot the waiter a look. "Two Blue Mountains and one fresh juice, thank you!"
The waiter, seeing that the gentleman had nothing further to add, smiled and excused himself from the private room.
"I’m putting a hex on you two siblings for ganging up to bully me!" Jane Sampson twisted Quincy Forest’s arm lightly. "You actually claimed you had the heart for it?"
"Absolutely!" Quincy Forest snorted. "Every day you stuff my Moments with PDA about you and Mr. Black, flaunting how lovey-dovey you two are. And *I’m* supposed to have a conscience? Just wait until I have a boyfriend—I’ll fill your feed with even more PDA! Maximum combat power retaliation!"
Kane Forest inexplicably felt the urge to send Quincy Forest to sit by the roadside.
Of all the dishes they ordered, the quickest to arrive was Jane Sampson’s fresh juice. Just as she took her first sip, her mobile phone started ringing—it was James Black calling her.
