"...since you two have been getting jiggy with each other, are you using protection?" Mary asked.

Amy froze at Mary’s question and Mary’s eyes widened at how shocked Amy looked at her. Just looking at her expression, says all the answer she needs.

A lot has been happening in Amy’s life ever since the accident and then Henry’s arrival. The things that she needed to do and finish were left and right and she always forgets having protected s*x with Henry since it was never planned and Henry always takes her by surprise and sweeps her off her feet.

Surely she would always remember it for a brief moment but then forget it right away, especially whenever Henry starts kissing and touching her. Her mind would just automatically turn off everything else and will be solely focused on Henry.

"DAMN! I am going to be an aunt soon!" Mary excitedly screamed as she jumped from the bench.

"SHHH! What the hell are you saying? I am not pregnant, be quiet, someone might believe you. Why are you being so scandalous... Gosh... Keep your freaking voice down," Amy pulled her over-excited best friend back to sit on the bench.

"The fact that you are letting him unload all of his baby-making juices in you, then it won’t be long before my dream will come true. I am so happy babe!

You will make me an aunt soon, this is the greatest birthday gift ever. Thank you so much!" Mary hugged Amy so tight that Amy couldn’t breathe, so she pushed Mary hard but there was no sign of her letting go.

"Mary I can’t breathe! Why are you exaggerating things, stop your imagination about me being pregnant," Amy exclaimed while still trying to push Mary away from her.

"Who’s pregnant?" The two stiffened after hearing Henry’s voice and they quickly stood up and look in his direction.

"No one is," Amy answered hurriedly before Mary can utter a word. She knows how insane can her friend be just like now.

"But I want Amy to be," Mary said as she wiggle her brows at Henry.

"Stop dreaming while you’re awake! Let’s get back to the party," Amy said before she walked toward Henry so they can all go where the others are.

"I like how you think, Mary. It’s a good idea. I want her to get pregnant too. I want lots of cute little Amy and little Henry," Henry casually uttered, which made him earn a glare from Amy as Mary laughed hard like there’s no tomorrow.

Back at the party...

Ava and Rei were watching Ash drink from one bottle to another, he was obviously trying to drown himself in alcohol. Amy tasked Ava to look after Ash since she knows that there’s a high possibility that this will happen.

Ash didn’t know that Amy was aware that he drinks till he passes out whenever Amy will reject her in the past. However, she kept quiet since her brother strictly instructed to not say anything to not make Ash’s heartache worse than what it is.

"Ash, I think you have drunk a lot already. You should at least slow down if you don’t want to stop," Ava carefully chose her words to make sure that she will not anger Ash any further than he already is.

"Why? Will you drink with me if I slow down?" Ash asked Ava.

Ava looked at Rei first asking non-verbally if it was ok to do so since they are still on the job and was tasked to make sure that Ash will not have an alone time with Amy or make trouble. When Rei nodded, Ava took the bottle from Ash’s hand.

"S-Sure, but I will be the one to pour the drinks to be fair to others. At this rate, there will be none left for the rest of us. You’ve hoarded everything," Ava kidded to not make it obvious to Ash that she was trying to stop him from drinking further.

Mary was laughing hard at how annoyed Amy is with her and after that, she decided to leave the two since she already got what she wanted to hear.

Amy was about to follow Mary when Henry stopped her. "Love, I want you to listen to me carefully... If you ever get pregnant, I want you to tell me right away.

Even if you have not taken the test, I want to be part of it every step of the way. I will not leave you and you are not leaving me too, do you understand?" Henry stated as he hold both cheeks of Amy.

Amy doesn’t know what to say. She’s not ready for it, but if it happens she will accept it, it’s her fault anyways for not being careful she thought.

Amy nodded and said, "Okay. But can we not get pregnant yet? I am not ready for that." Amy lowered her head as she say the last part.

’Does it mean she’s considering it?’ Henry thought.

Amy knows how badly Henry wanted to get married and have a child but she’s just not ready. She can give him other things but not this, at least not for now.

Henry pulled her for an embrace and she hugged her back. "Alright, love. Tomorrow if you want we can go to the doctor to have some tests before doing any birth control methods because there’s no way I will wear that rubber blob."

Amy: "..."

Amy was speechless at what she just heard. Even at a serious talk like this, Henry’s shamelessness doesn’t pick a time or a place. He would just speak out whatever is on his mind.

The two joined the others who are already drinking and singing. Amy smiles at the sight of the people close to her having fun. It’s been a while since the last time that she had fun like this.

When Amy took her seat near the karaoke, she looked at the people there and her heart was full. She just wish that the people important to her will stay happy always like this.

Even Ash was chatting and laughing with Ava, Dave, Sandra, and Rei, while Mitch, Maya, Anton, and Mary are enjoying the karaoke.

She notices that even though Ash was laughing with the others, his eyes don’t smile plus he is obviously drunk, perhaps one reason for his laughter.

’Ash, someday I will be able to make it up to you, I wish you find your happiness,’ Amy said to herself as she hopes that one day Ash will forget her and move on with his life.

"Amy! Good, you’re back. Let’s sing!" Maya pulled Amy to the karaoke. She looked at Henry and he gave her a reassuring smile.

Amy remembered that on her reward list, there’s something about dedicating a song to your partner and that’s exactly what she will do. She has done the PDA part before dinner then singing will be next so she’s left with four.

After punching in the song she’ll sing she went back to her seat with all smiles on her face and Henry’s eyes narrowed at how she was smiling mischievously.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Henry asked as he coax Amy to sit beside him.

"Nothing, I’m just excited to sing," Amy said.

"So you can sing huh? I can’t wait to hear your voice," Henry replies before taking a sip in his rum glass.

However, Amy took his glass before he can drink into it, "Give me that, I need it more than you."

"Woah, easy on the rum, love. That one tastes good but it’s strong. I don’t want you passing out on me again," he said with a smirk.

"Amy! Your song is next," Maya exclaimed before Amy can reply to Henry and then handed over the microphone to her.

"Henry... I need to tell you something. This is very important and I need you to listen carefully because I won’t tell you again," Henry nodded at Amy and stayed quiet, intently listening to her.

"The song that will sing, i-it’s for you. I’ve chosen this song because this is what I want to say to you, and this is the most courage I can get to tell it to you. So please listen ok?"

Henry agreed before Amy took the microphone and move closer to the karaoke screen. When she was in the right spot, she faced Henry as the music began to play.

Henry gulped and sat up straight. His heart was pounding hard, which he never felt for anyone before. Amy’s voice was so angelic to his ears, and the lyrics she is singing right now...

Damn! It is making him breathless as if his heart wants to get out of his chest and run to Amy. He had heard this song before and he can’t wait for Amy to sing everything to him.

This is finally it, the moment that he was waiting for. Even though Amy will tell it to him via a song, he doesn’t care. It was still so brave of her to tell him how she really feels about him and he feels so ecstatic about it.
