It helped that back then, Amy was not interested in any man at all, that’s why he did not stop and stayed by her side.

When the sound coming from Amy’s room stopped, Ash finally got back his strength and walked directly to the bathroom. He placed his palm on the cold tiles as he turn on the shower straight away and did not bother switching the heater on.

Cold water gush down to his head as he looked down at the floor. He can feel his chest squeezing his heart hard and it hurts like hell. Soon, he felt his whole body was wet and cold, he had never felt so alone in his entire life. He never thought that there will come a day when he will live without Amy in his life.

The emotions that he is feeling right now were too much, he felt his knees losing their strength before his legs surrendered and he collapsed on the floor. He wailed his heart out, his tears getting mixed with the cold water running down his face.

He started to beat his chest hard hoping that it will lessen the pain if not at least convert it to a different kind of pain. Ash cried and cried as if his tears were limitless. He had never cried this much in his life but no matter how hard he hit his chest or how hard he cried, the pain in his heart stays the same.

They say that people can die because of a broken heart and Ash could only wish for that, to finally end his suffering. He knows that his heart is beating in a desperate rhythm but he still pushed himself to the limit without thinking about how it might end. And even though he is going through hell right now, his stupid heart refuses to die and still beating for the woman that he loves.
