Chen Feng was the personal secretary of the President of Su Enterprise. Prior to Elder Su Donghai, he used to serve Su Liwei. After Su Liwei resigned, he had been serving Su Donghai. 

That man Chen Feng had his merits. The reason he was able to maintain his position was because of innumerable past accomplishments. Other than undermining Jing Lihua once, there hadn't been any mistake he had even done while passing his judgment.

At his question, Su Donghai merely said. "Which party had benefitted the most from this public outrage to the 'Su' family?"

Chen Feng was astonished. 

"But how could she

have such influence to be the one behind this matter?" Chen Feng asked but there was a hint of reverence in his tone. Over the months, Jing Lihua had demonstrated such acumen and vigilance while dealing with internal affairs of her company that even Chen Feng, as an outsider and someone standing with her opponents had to acknowledge her.

"There is only one answer to this situation. That is... She used the Li family power!" Su Donghai' face darkened as he said.

Suddenly, everything made sense to Chen Feng.

Is this why Elder Su appeared to be so troubled?

If the 'Li' family was willing to extend its hands to help Jing Lihua in such a matter, then that meant her connection with them must be far stronger than they anticipated.

And it this was the case, they had a legit reason to panic.

"We can no longer continue to shield Su Lanfen. The way the situation is right now, there is no way to salvage the situation." Su Donghai said. There was really no other solution to the situation.

Between his position and his kinship, if he had to choose, he would choose the former without even blinking.

"How can I f**king calm down?! I have nothing left! Nothing!" Then she laughed maniacally. "That Jing Lihua thinks she is safe?
