"He had been here to invite me for the night." Zhang Min had a polite smile on his face, he looked very friendly and approachable.

Mei Xiu nodded sending Zhang Min off. 

His explanation seemed genuine. Nothing fishy.

Such small parties were quite often. They were socialization events. One way they were means of getting in good terms with the higher-ups. After all the promotions of many employees were directly dependant on the evaluation reports provided by their superiors.

"Yuefeng Ge, we have already talked through it. Why are you still hesitating?" Zhang Min pressed on. "Forget this. I understand that you are relatively new in the company so you might have some reservations. I was once in your place so I understand your state." Zhang Min sighed.

Human psychology was so. When they feel like someone has been in a similar situation as them, they would feel closer to them.

That was Zhang Min's intention.

To make Chen Yuefang feel closer to him so he would shed his guard.

Hearing Zhang Min words, Chen Yuefang hesitated. He spoke what was in his heart. "It's just that... You understand that I am in such a situation. I don't have any allies. That contract agreement involves big powers. I'm just afraid for my family."

Chen Yuefang nodded. "I have the PDF on my mobile."

Zhang Min quickly smiled widely. "Just hand it over to me. I will take care of the rest."

However, Chen Yuefang was still not willing. "How about this? I hand you back the amount you transferred me?" It was clear that now he was hesitatant about his decision.

At this point, Zhang Min thought of several words to console him but no matter what he said, Chen Yuefeng couldn't be placated.

After that, a lot of placating Chen Yuefang finally conceded in handing over the documents to Zhang Min. Zhang Min was ecstatic. But he hid his excitement under his eyes.

Next, he excused himself from the party and went for a certain hotel room. There he met an agent from Su enterprise. 

Su Donghai directly contacted him.

"You have done a good job Zhang Min. We will compensate you well in the future."

However, Zhang Min wasn't someone who would be swayed with empty praises. "President Su, you are aware that how great risks I had taken to get my hand son these documents?" He said in a stern voice.

"What do you want?" Su Donghai immediately guessed his intention. In fact, he had expected Zhang Min to rise his demand so he was prepared.

"I want an immediate down payment." He stated firmly. "One Billion."

Silence ensued after his outrageous demand. Su Donghai laughed. "Good. Su enterprise is not stingy. Since you have done such a great service for us, how could we wrong you? The amount would be deposited in your account by midnight."

Zhang Min couldn't believe that Su Donghai would readily agree. One Billion was quite an amount. In fact, he had stated a high amount so that they could discuss and settle for a lower value where both parties would agree.

Indeed, the Su family is rich.

Damn it! I should have said a higher price!

He quickly handed over the documents to the agent. 

Late at night, the amount was deposited as promised. He quickly took a flight and left for aboard.

In the Mealor Mansion, Su Jiayi had employed a specialist to validate the document. The person was an experienced lawyer. Through various clauses and matching them with the actual proceedings of the Li enterprise, he could tell whether the document was forged or not.

Turned out, they were not!

They were real!

"But that a one Billion direct downpayment for that Zhang Min, isn't that a bit too much of a waste?" Su Jiayi expressed her concern.

"That doesn't matter. Now that this document is not forged, we hold the key to Tang enterprise destruction in our hands." Su Donghai laughed heartily. "Do you understand what is the greatest threat to us right now?"
