Celestial Refining Divine Scripture-Chapter 41: Total Annihilation
"What is that?"
"A pill?"
Zhan Hu and the others were filled with bewilderment.
For a moment, they couldn’t see what kind of pill it was and didn’t have time to stop it, but they didn’t care either.
They completely overwhelmed their opponents in both numbers and strength.
How much difference could just one pill make?
Of course, if they knew it was an advanced Blood Beast Elixir, they’d never think that way!
Wuo Changyuan and Wuo Ling staggered back in panic, caught the Blood Beast Elixir with a backhand, and popped it straight into their mouths without even looking. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Dogzi even leaped through the air, catching his with his mouth.
Bang!
Wuo Changyuan’s whole body shook, his aura suddenly surging a notch higher!
"Good!" He couldn’t help but let out a rousing roar.
Wuo Ling, however, let out a scream of agony.
The power was too great.
In an instant, her skin tore open, blood oozing out.
The force of the Blood Beast Elixir rampaged inside, making her wish she was dead.
Wuo Ling’s eyes turned red, and she charged at her opponent like a madwoman.
She pinned her foe directly beneath her.
Dogzi fared much better than Wuo Ling, but his momentum spiked all the same.
Last was Xu Yang.
He dashed over to the group of three Dogzi was distracting, locked onto the one at the Late Stage of True Void, and threw a punch.
"A Qian Ren?"
"Watch me smash your skull open."
The barbarian let out a grim sneer, completely dismissing Xu Yang.
Bang!
Xu Yang’s punch sent him flying, crashing into the stone wall and sliding down, silent for good.
"How is this possible?"
"What the hell?"
"You little bastard, you’re dead!"
His companions were shocked, eyes turning murderous as they charged at Xu Yang.
Xu Yang swallowed a Blood Beast Elixir in one gulp!
Bang!
It was as if a massive beast exploded inside him.
The berserk power was several times greater than that of a normal Blood Beast Elixir.
His whole body trembled like a drum, his energy surging wildly like a raging river!
Even with Xu Yang’s solid foundation, he felt searing pain as if he were being torn apart!
"This power—I can use it as Beast Essence!"
Xu Yang’s eyes lit up.
The main ingredients in the Blood Beast Elixir were monster beast essence blood and blood-feed, filled with savage monster beast ferocity.
He wasted no time. With a flick of his sleeve, he threw a punch like a dragon, his muscles and bones roaring in unison.
This punch, unstoppable as a battering ram!
The violent force twisted the air, making a giant vortex appear in the sky.
A punch to shake the world.
Before it even landed, its fierce pressure made his opponent’s scalp crawl, fear gripping his heart.
The enemy went all out, slamming a palm downward.
Bang!
In a split second, the barbarian’s palm and arm shattered together, erupting into a mist of blood. The impact pulverized half his shoulder, turning it into a bloody mess.
"Aaagh!!"
A piercingly shrill scream echoed out, cut off in a blink.
He plummeted to the ground, dead as a doornail!
"So it really works!"
"The advanced Blood Beast Elixir is even more incredible than Beast Essence."
Xu Yang was elated.
Beast Essence is hard to obtain, but Blood Beast Elixir? It’s just too easy.
He quickly glanced to both sides.
In just these few moments—
Wuo Ling had already used the elixir’s power to subdue her foe.
And Dogzi, freed from two tangled opponents, had tormented his last enemy until he was barely alive—his body covered in wounds so deep they showed the bone, tragically pitiful.
Seeing this, Xu Yang finally sighed in relief.
But when he looked over at Wuo Changyuan, his brow furrowed instantly.
With the Blood Beast Elixir, Wuo Changyuan’s power had risen a bit.
But Zhan Hu, after his early panic, was now fighting desperately as well.
In the end, Wuo Changyuan just couldn’t suppress him!
"What the hell kind of pill is that?!"
Zhan Hu realized something was wrong, roaring in anger.
Only he was left standing now.
Wuo Changyuan spat out a mouthful of blood and shouted hoarsely, "Go! Inform the leader!"
He knew full well he could only pin Zhan Hu down—a real kill was nearly impossible!
Wuo Ling clenched her teeth, enduring the pain, and looked at Xu Yang.
Xu Yang narrowed his eyes and let out a cold laugh. "Escape?"
That’s out of the question!
Whoosh!
He charged straight at Zhan Hu!
"Are you insane?"
Wuo Changyuan saw this out of the corner of his eye, face turning pale as he shouted urgently.
A moment’s distraction earned him a brutal swipe from Zhan Hu, leaving a bloody gash.
Xu Yang’s gaze was wild; the Blood Beast Elixir’s power still burned in him. In a single thought, all the power in his bones surged forth.
The power was almost too much for his body to handle; his skin split open in fine cracks.
Xu Yang didn’t care a bit, as if he felt no pain at all.
His eyes were fierce, pushing forward relentlessly.
"Hundred Beasts Battle Skill!"
"Nine Extremes Fist!"
Xu Yang roared inside.
In that instant, it seemed as if he transformed into a terrifying blood beast.
One punch—ninefold thunder exploded.
Zhan Hu’s pupils contracted, shock appearing in his eyes. "That’s the power of True Void Perfection!"
"You Qian Ren brat, you’re dead!"
Bang!
Xu Yang was struck as if by lightning, howling in pain as he staggered back. His whole arm split open, a bloody wreck.
The pain nearly blinded him.
The power of the Yin Realm was simply too strong.
"Damn it."
Wuo Changyuan roared in fury. Xu Yang couldn’t die—he was even more important than the blood mine.
He coughed up blood, burning his bloodline and barbarian marks to savagely ram into Zhan Hu and knock him away.
"You lunatic! Do you know what you’re doing?" Zhan Hu’s scalp went numb at the sight.
Burning one’s bloodline and barbarian marks would cripple Wuo Changyuan’s martial arts for good.
But Wuo Changyuan didn’t care at all. In his frenzy, he finally managed to suppress Zhan Hu.
Xu Yang crawled up with difficulty, bit his own tongue, and charged again.
"Spirit Lock Seal!"
Pa!
Completely off guard, Zhan Hu screamed miserably.
The chaos inside the battle made his True Essence backfire, and he spat blood from his mouth.
"Good!"
Wuo Changyuan shouted in excitement, slamming his fist into Zhan Hu’s chest.
Bang!
Zhan Hu crashed heavily to the ground.
A yellow lightning bolt had long been lurking, finally seizing the moment and pouncing in a flash.
Slash!
Sharp claws raked across his throat, and blood gushed like a fountain.
Zhan Hu pressed both hands to his neck and struggled desperately, his eyes almost bulging from their sockets, but it was useless.
Blood spurted violently from between his fingers, just like a beast being bled. When all the blood drained, he died on the spot.
Endless agony and unwillingness still lingered in his eyes!
Bang, bang!!
Xu Yang and Wuo Changyuan collapsed to the ground together.
Wuo Ling stared in shock, speechless.
The two of them, together, had killed someone of the Yin Realm!
Such a glorious feat—if the Wudao Army’s many martial artists saw this, they’d be utterly astonished.
Xu Yang twisted his battered body with difficulty and took out a Jade Cloud Elixir to swallow.
But his injuries were too severe, and the elixir’s effects were greatly diminished.
Suddenly, Wuo Changyuan convulsed in pain, low growls of agony rumbling from his throat.
Xu Yang glanced sideways and shook his head slightly.
Wuo Changyuan’s aura collapsed, with signs of total decline.
Virtually crippled, his cultivation had dropped and would be almost impossible to restore!
But to keep the blood mine from being discovered by the Guo Wen Division—was it worth it?
Worth it!
Not worth it!
Either way, Xu Yang felt little at heart.
After a long while—
Wuo Changyuan finally settled down, gasped a deep breath, eyes flashing with complexity. He gritted his teeth and turned to Wuo Ling, whose condition was the best: "Hurry back and notify the chief."
"Yes!"
Wuo Ling quickly rushed out.
No one noticed that as Wuo Ling dashed out, a tiny black insect, wings thin as cicada’s, scurried rapidly out the cave mouth along the edge of the rubble.
It was exactly that kind of Ghost-winged Insect Wuo Changyuan had spotted at the start.
