What was intended as good advice from Dong Tianyu turned into a threatening warning in their ears.

Li Minghao became the target of everyone’s accusations.

The survivors in West City believed that Li Minghao should not have handed over the saltpeter, at least not in such large quantities, because of which the distribution of ice in West City had plummeted.

So now, Li Minghao was between a rock and a hard place. He was being cursed by survivors of both, his own district as well as others.

If it had been Ye Liuyun who donated the 300 kilograms of saltpeter instead of Dong Tianyu, Li Minghao wouldn’t have made such a foolish mistake.

However, having investigated and found no significant connections for Dong Tianyu, Li Minghao thought he could easily manipulate him to get more saltpeter. So, he was quite generous when he initially handed over the stash.
