"You’ve started your own company now; why not find a show you can star in?" Wen Xi asked. "In ’Mother,’ you even got Zhang Hongyu to star, and you didn’t act in it. You really seem to be transitioning to a producer role."

"Not at all, if there was a role suitable for me in ’Mother,’ I would have taken it, but there isn’t," Song Chi said. "I can’t just ask the writers to add a role for me."

"He just finished shooting a movie, ’Laissez-faire,’" Zhou Yun said to Wen Xi. "Opening the company is more about shooting shows that mainstream markets won’t produce but that he really likes."

Wen Xi: "Wow."

Zhou Yun turned to Song Chi: "By the way, did you also take leave from the crew today?"
