Caught in Affairs with Superstar-Chapter 1024 - 599: Relationships
"Elizabeth, how dare you attack me?!"
Gediyah glared at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth sneered, saying, "Gediyah, you must understand that when you decided to do this, I couldn’t let you off."
Gediyah glared angrily at Daniel and Cristina, saying, "Elizabeth, I just didn’t want them to keep deceiving you. I saw them hugging and kissing with my own eyes."
Cristina retorted angrily, "You’re talking nonsense!"
However, Elizabeth’s expression remained unmoved, seemingly unaffected by Gediyah’s claim.
"Gediyah, I don’t believe you anymore," Elizabeth said. "You’ve lost my trust."
"Elizabeth, give me one more chance," Gediyah said, somewhat desperately. "I know I shouldn’t have done this, but I really just don’t want to see these two continue deceiving you."
"Oh really?" Elizabeth said. "Weren’t your actions just now deceiving me too?"
Gediyah’s face turned pale instantly.
She seemed to realize something, realizing that no matter what she said, Elizabeth wouldn’t forgive her tonight.
Gediyah clenched her teeth.
At that moment, the music downstairs seemed to drift away.
Zhou Yun regretted coming upstairs and witnessing this scene.
Although it appeared Elizabeth had gained the upper hand, Zhou Yun felt Elizabeth might not want many people to know about this.
Not even her and Sedar.
Elizabeth said, "Gediyah, you know my principles, please leave now."
Gediyah still wanted to struggle, trying to say something.
But when she met Elizabeth’s eyes, all the words she wanted to say were blocked by Elizabeth’s completely emotionless eyes.
Elizabeth disliked being deceived and particularly loathed betrayal.
In the end, Gediyah swallowed all her words and walked down the stairs.
Elizabeth only looked at Daniel and Cristina after Gediyah went downstairs.
"Was what she said just now true?" Elizabeth asked.
Cristina quickly said, "Of course, it’s not true, Elizabeth. Don’t believe Gediyah; she’s just trying to sabotage me because I got the movie ’Atonement’ and she failed."
Elizabeth: "I didn’t ask you, Daniel. You tell me, was what Gediyah said true?"
Daniel said, "Darling, are you doubting my love for you?"
"I just need you to answer me, was what Gediyah said just now true or false?" Elizabeth insisted.
Daniel: "False, of course false. I only love you."
Elizabeth didn’t seem convinced.
She said, "Then why, after knowing what Gediyah intended, didn’t you inform me immediately? Why were you hiding here with Cristina, waiting for us to show up?"
Daniel said, "If I told you in advance, Gediyah wouldn’t admit it. She’d argue it was just a prank."
"Did you arrange those two people in the room?" Elizabeth asked.
Daniel nodded.
"They needed a bed, so I pointed them to a place. Don’t worry, I’ll have someone clean the room," he said.
"Daniel, I thought we had mutual trust," Elizabeth said. "I’m very disappointed that you didn’t inform me immediately after knowing what Gediyah would do."
A hint of apology flashed across Daniel’s face.
He seemed to want to say something but hesitated and said nothing.
Zhou Yun felt she shouldn’t stay here any longer.
"Elizabeth, I’ll head downstairs," she said directly. "I think you need a space to talk things over with Daniel."
Elizabeth shook her head, saying, "No need, I’ll go down with you, there are many guests downstairs."
"Elizabeth," Daniel tried to persuade.
Elizabeth said, "Daniel, let’s talk about this after tonight."
Zhou Yun saw a hint of fatigue on Elizabeth’s beautiful face.
She exchanged a glance with Cristina.
Cristina’s look clearly conveyed that she’d been sabotaged by Gediyah.
Zhou Yun didn’t know the full story behind the incident, and could only offer her an encouraging look.
