CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 162: Abyssal Caster
As Aurora put the helmet on, dark smoke shot out from within the helmet and wrapped around her.
A suit of armor formed around her. The armor was much more revealing than Selina’s and Crow’s armor.
The armor exposed her smooth white legs with a dark blue skirt that only covered the area between her legs going down to her ankles. Her shoes changed into high boots that went up to her knees. Dark blue triangular pieces of ice formed at her knees and served as the pads.
Her body armor was sleeveless. She did not have gauntlets but dark blue bracers on her wrists. The chest armor had the symbol of the Glacial Seal in the front. It hugged tightly to Aurora’s frame and didn’t go past her waist, showing her beautiful hourglass frame and the circuit blue lines on her belly.
The helmet changed into a complicated dark blue crown on Aurora’s head.
Instead of calling it a suit of armor, the suit looked more like a uniform of a queen. A very sexy one.
The black cat couldn’t hold himself in and licked his mouth constantly.
"God damn!" The black cat’s deep voice echoed.
Selina clapped her hands. Her eyes lit up with excitement. "You look so good, Aurora."
Aurora smiled and bowed slightly.
Crow nodded. "As expected of her."
"Let’s go deal with those wraiths. I want to see what her powers are like now." The black cat meowed.
The group entered the bathhouse.
This time all of the wraiths had reached level five. They had significant changes to their appearance.
The red wraith looked exactly like a lizard now with a spiky spine on its back.
The ears of the blue wraith turned into fins. Its skin also turned blue.
The brown wraith had brown hair all over its body. Its face had a snout similar to a bear.
The grey wraith grew a pair of bird wings. It had a beak on its face.
The green wraith had a longer neck and smooth skin similar to a snake.
The yellow wraith grew a lion mane. Its skin grew yellow fur.
The white wraith was the only one that stayed humanoid. Its skin turned pale instead of the previous black rotten flesh.
"They changed again." Selina mumbled.
"The Primordial Ritual is slowly making them stronger and stronger." The black cat nodded.
Aurora approached the seven wraiths. They spotted her and immediately attacked.
The red wraith was very fast. It crawled like a lizard on the floor and got closer to Aurora. It breathed fire at her.
Aurora didn’t need to move to use her skills in this form. Instead, she commanded by her will.
A pillar of ice shot up in front of her and blocked the fire.
Spikes of ice shot up from the ground and pierced through the red lizard. The spikes were taller and bigger than her usual Ice Spikes. Inside them flowed the purple Nether Energy as well.
Dark veins spread on the lizard’s skin as it roared.
The bear wraith and bird wraith attacked her together.
The bear wraith slammed its hand on the ground, making several boulders shoot up. The bear punched the boulders, sending them as Aurora.
The bird wraith flapped its wing in the air, sending gusts of winds at Aurora. Wherever the winds went, the ground was left with several deep cuts. These winds were not ordinary.
Pillars of ice shot up around Aurora and protected her completely. Until now, she still hadn’t moved an inch.
Aurora raised her hand. The Nether Sword appeared.
The Nether Sword was an ice sword this time with purple Nether Energy running inside it.
"Eternal Ice..."
Nether and Death Ice energy leaked out of Aurora and the Abyssal Helmet. It charged the sword up. Two spheres of blue and purple flew around the blade.
Aurora didn’t swing the sword at the enemies. Instead, she slammed the tip onto the ground. A blinding white light took over the bathhouse.
Crow quickly jumped in front of Selina to protect her.
Mater also summoned Force Dome in front of the group to protect them from Aurora’s attack.
When the light dissipated, the entire bathhouse was frozen in ice. All the seven wraiths were also frozen.
"Ice Spikes!" Aurora clenched her free hand.
Countless spikes shot out from the surface the wraiths were stuck at. They repeatedly pierced through the wraiths, making more holes on their astral body.
They couldn’t do anything at all because they couldn’t escape the ice. They were quickly killed off one by one with the Ice Spikes.
The black cat stroked its whiskers, "The Abyssal Helmet knew Aurora wasn’t a warrior type so it focused entirely on enhancing her ability and caster role... Very smart."
All the animalistic wraiths were destroyed. The black cat flew inside and collected all of their Chaos.
Seven level-5 wraiths. Each with 7 Chaos Spheres. They gave Mater a total of 35 Chaos Spheres, making his total Chaos Spheres 185.
"This place really is a treasure trove. Hahaha!" The black cat couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
This was the bounty with the single most yield of Chaos Spheres ever for him.
Selina saw that Mater was enjoying himself. She couldn’t help but feel happy for him and also laughed manically herself.
Crow had grown too accustomed to the weird antics of his Master and his Queen.
Aurora rotated her neck. The feeling of the helmet was really good. Instead of giving her something new, it acted like an extension of her.
She slowly pulled the helmet away and returned to her usual appearance, "You are the most brilliant mind ever, Master. Only you can make something like this."
Mater jumped from the Dark Grimoire and to Aurora’s arms, "I am your Master after all!"
His entire body trembled because of the cold temperature of Aurora’s skin. The black cat growled and jumped off her.
"You’re too cold, though. I don’t like the cold."
Aurora squatted down at Mater, her soft lips parted, "Maybe Master can figure out a way to fix me. So that I can hug you like Lady Selina every night?"
That was an obvious invitation. It made Mater’s tail stand up straight.
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I will definitely figure out a way! Don’t you worry, woman!"
Aurora giggled. Her eyes curved into the moon.
Suddenly, the entire mansion shook. The Chaos in the air pulsed like a beating heart.
Everyone snapped their head toward the living quarters of the Lambkins.
"Something’s happening, Master." Crow said.
"Well. Well. Well. It seems that the Primordial Rituals can feel its energy slowly wither away. It is gathering every last bit of Chaos to make the strongest possible wave for us." The black cat’s deep voice echoed.
Crow cracked his knuckles.
Aurora took a deep breath.
Bash grinned widely.
Selina smiled and picked up the black cat, letting it stand on her shoulders.
"What should we do now, Mr. Mater?" Selina said.
"We do what we always do. Kill them all!"
