CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 159: Colorful Wraiths

The two Nether Spheres slammed on top of the level 3 wraith. They tore the wraith from the outside to the inside. Its body was being shredded away in the matter of seconds.

It tried to get away but black chains already reached out from the shadow under the Nether Spheres and pulled it closer.

The wraith was quickly torn to nothing. Mater opened his mouth and pulled in all the invisible Chaos. The black cat licked its tongue in satisfaction. Another five Chaos Spheres.

Mater’s total Chaos Spheres reached 92.

All the Psychics swiped their forehead in fear.

"I thought Big Sister Selina was strong. Her cat is even stronger!"

"That cat didn’t even need ten seconds to kill the NCE!"

"How strong!"

Becky forced a smile, "That cat has always been your main weapon. I don’t know why you switched to Psychic Skills."

"We can’t just rely on one move, Becky. What would happen if Mater wasn’t here?" Selina said.

"She got a point." Loretta nodded.

Mater flew closer to Selina, "Let’s continue."

"Find me other wraiths, boys!" Selina shouted.

"Yes, Big Sister!"

Detective Flintstone watched everything on the cameras. He couldn’t help but scratch his head.

"She turned the entire Psychic group into her underlings." Then he shrugged, "Oh well. If she can deal with it, I can go home soon."

The newly spawned level 3 wraiths were soon located. Two showed up in the courtyard.

Mater and Selina went to the courtyard. It was one male wraith and one female wraith. Each with a blue and red ritual uniform.

"The white one could shoot mental waves. I wonder what these two could do." The black cat meowed.

Mater approached the two wraiths.

The red wraith lowered its body. Fire appeared on its spine. It looked and moved like a lizard.

The blue wraith stayed up straight. Water appeared around its hand and formed two water rings.

They saw Mater. The red wraith jumped at him. Fire formed around its fist to form fire claws.

Mater summoned an Earth Elemental Shield. The dirt from the ground shot up and formed a shield, blocking all the attacks from the red wraith.

The blue wraith moved to the side and shoved its hands at Mater at a distance. Water rings shot at Mater aggressively. He summoned Force Dome to block the attack.

"If Aurora was here, she would be perfect at dealing with this fire wraith." The black cat meowed. "But we have something similar. Did you bring that revolver, Selina?"

"Always." Selina took out the revolver and slotted in the bullets.

Mater put his paw on the revolver and used Glacial Imbuement. Now with every shit, the bullets shall bring the destruction capability of Death Ice.

Selina put on a pair of gloves before grabbing the gun again. Even with a layer of fabric, she could feel the extreme cold of Death Ice. She aimed at the red wraith and fired.

Ice cold glacial bullets pierced holes inside the red wraith.

Mater raised his paw. A ring of fire appeared underneath the blue wraith and burned it. He thought fire might be effective against water. But he was wrong.

It was the other way around. The blue wraith formed a water shield around it and jumped out of the ring of fire.

Hellfire was stronger than ordinary water. But the wraith was still able to mitigate a lot of damage from Hellfire’s Pit.

"Tch. Nether is still the best."

The black cat opened its mouth and blasted a Nether Sphere at the blue wraith, right at the location it jumped out. The Nether Spheres broke the water shield and penetrated into the blue wraith immediately.

Selina reloaded and aimed at the red wraith again. But it wasn’t necessary. Death Ice ended its life by just a few shots. The red wraith fell to the ground and withered.

Mater collected its Chaos, making his Chaos Spheres 97.

The blue wraith was able to escape the Nether Spheres. Unlucky for it, it had come closer to Mater, allowing him to blast its head off with Desperation Scream.

Mater’s Chaos Spheres reached 102.

"First time in this world I hold this many Chaos Spheres." The black cat licked its lips after eating the blue wraith.

"The Glacial Bullets are surprisingly strong." Selina said.

"Certainly. It’s Death Ice after all. But it is still a bit inconvenient. I should add a different Glacial Spell when I have the chance."

When he reached Bio-Lock of course. As of now, his Dark Grimoire was full. He needed to reach a higher level for more spells.

After the two wraiths, the Psychics found another wraith in the bathhouse. Selina and Mater entered the bathhouse.

"Shit. We’ve never seen these wraiths this strong. This must be a Silver Rank Bounty at least." A Psychic said.

"Yeah. It’s lucky Big Sister is here. She must be a Silver Rank too, huh?" Another said.

"Nope. Selina is still in the Bronze Rank." Becky said.

In the bathhouse, a wraith with a green uniform was there.

When Mater appeared, it raised its hands up. Root burst out from beneath the floor board and reached for the black cat.

Mater used Desperation Scream to repel all the roots away.

"This time. I bet Hellfire’s Pit is effective."

The black cat raised its paw. It’s super effective. The green wraith stumbled around before being killed off with a Nether Sphere.

Mater’s total Chaos Spheres reached 107.

Another wraith appeared in the guest house. Mater and Selina quickly ran over there.

This time it was a wraith with a yellow uniform.

"White for mental waves. Red for fire. Blue for water. Green for trees. Is yellow related to light?" The black cat stroked its whiskers and observed the wraith.

The wraith snapped its head toward Mater. Its body enlarged and became three times bigger. A certain yellow glow wrapped around it.

The yellow wraith grabbed a bed and threw it at Mater. The bed collided with Force Dome and broke into pieces.

The black cat spammed Nether Spheres at its face. The destructive capability of the Nether Spheres were lowered because of the yellow glow.

"Nope. Yellow is just a tank." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Black chains reached out from within the shadow and held the wraith in place. Mater was free to spam more Nether Spheres at it.

Selina stood faraway and used the Glacial Imbued Revolver to shoot at the wraith.

The wraith was very resilient. It broke the chains and charged at Mater, despite the amount of Nether Spheres currently digging into its body.
