Can We Say No to Divorce?-Chapter 592 - 358: Was It Him Last Time Too_2
Ji Su knew he was angry, yet even in his anger, he cared for her safety, angrily bidding money to win her.
Just that, he didn’t let her know, and she dared not think about why he would do such a thing!
Perhaps, tangled in love and hate for years on end, she didn’t dare contemplate whether his feelings for her were love? Hatred? Pity? Or was he deliberately toying with her?
He always tormented her this way, not resting until he had destroyed her dignity!
How could she dare to have any more expectations of him!
Yet, she didn’t understand why at critical moments, she still hoped he would appear!
Maybe, that’s what love is!
No matter how he humiliated her, love was still there in her heart. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
And what about him?
Did he see her merely as a toy bought for ten million, to play with casually, to discard at will, to do whatever he pleased?
"Yu..." Ji Su called out to him again.
In the past, before the misunderstanding, she would call him like this too, jokingly saying that his name contained all the desires of a city.
Gu Yucheng removed her blindfold but left her hands bound. Gazing at the tear stains on her face, he said, "Why are you crying? Tell me, how should a master play with his toy?"
After adjusting to the light, Ji Su saw his neat appearance, and the lack of tenderness and desire in his eyes. Did he really view her as just a toy?
Her own long hair cascaded down reaching nearly to her lower back, with a few strands covering the front, subtly veiling her charms. The thin veil had long been on the floor, and now she was just a toy waiting for her master to come and play.
She bit her lip and stayed silent, but her timid gaze towards him indicated that being sold by someone had left a shadow in her heart.
Gu Yucheng gripped her waist tightly, pulling her into his arms. The force of his hand was so strong she thought her bones would shatter, "Yu, it hurts..."
Her tearful expression was both tender and accusing, and he said angrily, "You call this pain? It hasn’t even started yet. Do you know? They would have sold you overseas, to various men and it’s entirely possible it wouldn’t be just one man at a time..."
With tears streaming down her face, Ji Su grew even more frightened by his words!
"I can only think that you wish for such a life." Gu Yucheng concluded.
"No...that’s not it..." Ji Su shook her head, her front hair swaying with the movement, while the Red Jade embedded in the mountain snow appeared charmingly in his sight.
That was a life worse than death, one she did not want to live!
But was it her fault for not asking him for help?
His fingers cruelly pinched the red berries, eliciting sobs from Ji Su as she looked at him through tearful eyes, wishing he would not be so harsh, but he remained indifferent.
Ji Su chokingly said, "About my mother, it’s not that I didn’t want to ask you for help, but what right do I have? Her actions have led us to where we are now. If it weren’t for her, we would surely be living a happy and love-filled life, with children around us..."
"So, you’d rather sell yourself to pay off her debts!" Gu Yucheng almost wished he could strangle her.
Ji Su was in pain. He cruelly toyed with the most delicate parts of a woman, something he had never done before, even in anger.
"It hurts, it hurts..." she pleaded with him.
Gu Yucheng said coldly, "You asked for it!"
Yes! Indeed, she had brought this upon herself. If it were not for him, she would not know where she would’ve been sold off to, or under whose hands she might be suffering without a lifeline.
Ji Su could only bite her lip and endure the pain, allowing him to bully her.
Gu Yucheng is a very stubborn man, and receiving his forgiveness is very hard.
If he wishes for her to suffer worse than death, then suffer she must.
Gu Yucheng saw she no longer dared to beg him. His dark eyes were also brimming with tears as the slender Ji Su trembled lightly, fearfully looking at him for her unknown fate.
"Scared now?" asked Gu Yucheng.
"I am..." Ji Su promptly replied, devoid of any self-respect, "I knew I was wrong when I was auctioned off..."
But Gu Yucheng wasn’t ready to let her off so easily: "What else?"
Ji Su hurriedly added, "I didn’t recognize that it was you who bid for me, I was so scared, I didn’t dare to think..."
Perhaps with too much disappointment in life, hope had also diminished.
She knew Gu Yucheng would only hate her; so, would he be happier if she were toyed with by others?
Gu Yucheng looked at her, a woman of a young wife’s age with skin like that of a young girl, especially stunning in a desperate kind of beauty after his hands had been upon her.
He was skilled at manipulating her emotions; after the torment, he’d then tenderly soothe her body.
Ji Su couldn’t help but murmur softly, unable to fathom why she was moved?
"Now you see, even being my toy has its perks, doesn’t it?" Gu Yucheng’s tone was still fierce, but he had softened his touch.
Ji Su’s face flushed, knowing he was mocking, teasing, and playing with her. She turned her head away, ignoring him!
Gu Yucheng pinched her harshly again: "When the master speaks, you dare not answer?"
Ji Su knew he was always cold-hearted; she couldn’t be sure if there was any affection in his treatment of her. At this moment, as he played with her, she naturally felt aggrieved.
Once aggrieved, her eyes reddened, and tears threatened to fall.
"Dare to cry again, and I’ll do it one more time!" threatened Gu Yucheng.
Ji Su didn’t dare. She understood he would do as he said; she felt so weak, loving him but not daring to tell him, feeling moved but not daring to ask for his affection.
Because she didn’t know what was on his mind, she didn’t dare to hope for anything.
Thus, she drifted helplessly in the world he expertly crafted, tossed and turned, rose and fell, up and down...
