Building The Strongest Family-Chapter 55: Targeted [ 1 ]
"Big Brother, You're Here!" Ashley grinned at Arthur, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Yeah, I just came from first uncle's place," Arthur replied as he settled into a chair, locking eyes with Ashley.
"So, how are things going?" he asked.
"Not much happening," Ashley shook her head in disappointment.
"Well then, get ready to get busy!" Arthur chuckled, pulling out a handful of USB drives and tossing them toward her.
Ashley caught the drives but looked at him with confusion. "What are these?"
"These contain recipes for luxury perfumes and designs for high-end bags, clothes, shoes, jewelry, you name it, anything related to the fashion and cosmetic industry is in this USB drives! Everything is on those USBs," Arthur explained calmly.
"Really?!" Ashley's eyes lit up with excitement.
Finally, the company had something to do instead of idling away, something that had been stifling for her creativity.
"Absolutely!" Arthur nodded enthusiastically. "And you better hurry to put these into production because second unt's company is about to release several movies and songs. Collaborate with them for celebrity endorsements; their projects are bound to be hits!"
"I got it!" Ashley quickly understood the potential impact of famous celebrities endorsing their products.
"Good," Arthur said before standing up to leave. "I'll be heading out now."
"Take care, big brother!" Ashley waved goodbye as he walked out.

About twenty minutes later, Arthur arrived at a sprawling industrial park and stood before an imposing office building emblazoned with the words "Osborn Heavy Industries" .
Without wasting any time, he entered the building and made his way to Oscar's office. As he stepped inside, he found Oscar deep in conversation with several senior managers.
"I'll catch up with you all later," Oscar said as soon as he noticed Arthur entering. He gestured for his colleagues to leave.
"Brother!" Oscar greeted him warmly with a flattering smile on his chubby face while offering a cup of water.
Arthur rolled his eyes at Oscar's overly flattering demeanor. "Wipe that smile off your face."
"Hehehe! What brings you here? Got something good for me?" Oscar rubbed his hands together eagerly.
Arthur raised an eyebrow but remained silent for a moment before asking, "What were you discussing?"
"Oh, just some recent equipment repairs needed in the factory," Oscar waved dismissively.
Arthur nodded thoughtfully while taking a sip of water before saying calmly, "Well, I brought some exciting things." He tossed another batch of USB drives toward Oscar.
Oscar caught them eagerly and examined them closely. "What's on these?"
"These USBs contain cutting-edge technologies for building cars: Vortex-Fusion Smart Hybrid Turbine-Injection technology; Adaptive 10-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission; E-AWD Drivetrain; Magnetic Ride 4.0 Suspension; Electro-Hydraulic Regenerative Braking; Neural Drive Control; and Solid State Hybrid Battery technology," Arthur explained as Oscar trembled with anticipation.
"Brother, this is incredible! With these technologies, I'm going to build the fastest and coolest super sports car in the country!" Oscar exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement
Arthur simply shook his head, knowing all too well that Oscar's passion for sports cars surpassed even his interest in beautiful women.
It was no surprise that he had chosen mechanical engineering as his field of study; after all, he had always dreamed of creating the world's fastest car.
"And that's not all," Arthur added calmly. "There are countless technical designs for heavy equipment and vehicles, especially construction machinery and civilian cars. You can use those as a foundation for your company."
Oscar took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "Yes, brother! I won't let you down," he said with newfound determination.
"Good," Arthur replied with a smile, feeling a sense of satisfaction swell in his heart.
"Oh, and it won't be long before Uncle Julian comes to discuss business with you," Arthur continued playfully. "By then, you'd better be ready... or else!"
Oscar's lips twitched at the mention of their uncle. He looked at Arthur with pleading eyes. "You have to help me! Otherwise, Uncle Julian will show no mercy during our discussions,I might suffer greatly!"
Arthur rolled his eyes dramatically. "Look at you! A grown man afraid of Uncle Julian? Man up! If you can't handle business with him, find someone who can."
Oscar's face lit up suddenly. "You're right! Edward is great at business negotiations; he can help me!"
Arthur raised an eyebrow at Oscar's plan; it was quite amusing that he intended to pit father against son in negotiations. The thought intrigued him,he couldn't wait to see how that would unfold.
"Damn! I have to witness this when the time comes," Arthur muttered under his breath, excitement gleaming in his eyes.
"Alright, Oscar, that's enough for now. Get busy!" Arthur said as he stood up and made his way out of the office, leaving Oscar alone with a handful of USB drives that he gazed at fondly, as if they were priceless treasures.

As time passed, Arthur busied himself assigning tasks to various family members: third uncle Richard and cousins Edward, William, George, all received their projects from him.
He also visited other industries to delegate responsibilities further afield.
Thanks to these efforts, the Osborn Family Industries, once dormant for months, were now buzzing back to life under Arthur's guidance.
He believed that within just a few months' time, the Osborn Family Industries would reveal their potential and make a grand entrance into the business world once again.
Among these industries were Osborn Media and Entertainment Group, Osborn Technology, Osborn Heavy Industries, Osborn Real Estate and Construction Group, and Osborn Pharmaceuticals and Biotech, all vital pillars supporting any thriving economy.

"What a rough day!"
Arthur sighed heavily as he leaned back against the car seat, feeling the weight of the world lift, if only for a moment.
The sun had dipped low on the horizon, painting the sky in stunning shades of orange and pink, a stark contrast to the chaos of his day.
He had been running around non-stop, juggling countless projects across various industries.
Arthur is determined to fast-track the Osborn Family business.
He had recruited top-tier talent from the system mall, all experts in their fields, but he knew that even the best needed time to deliver results.
Patience wasn't exactly one of his virtues; he wanted outcomes now, not in a month or two.
Yet with cutting-edge technology at his disposal, he believed he could speed things up significantly.
Suddenly, a voice broke through his thoughts. "Boss!" One of the bodyguards sitting in the passenger seat called out urgently.
"What's wrong?" Arthur replied, instinctively alert.
"We're being followed!" The bodyguard glanced nervously at the rearview mirror.
Arthur turned and spotted five ominous black vans tailing them closely.
A frown creased his brow before he chuckled softly to himself; these people are really desperate.
Didn't they know that Arthur had already survived two deadly assassination attempts?
Shaking his head at their foolishness, he gazed out at the setting sun and bustling streets beyond his window. "Take us to a remote location," he instructed the driver.
"Yes, boss," the bodyguard replied, his voice steady as he immediately relayed the orders through the intercom nestled in his ear.
Within moments, the three cars veered off onto a less-traveled route, leaving behind the chaotic bustle of the city.
A few minutes later, they came to a halt at a remote site filled with abandoned factory buildings.
The scene was eerie and desolate; weeds towered like adult calves amidst crumbling structures.
The dim light cast shadows that danced across the ground, just enough to make out their surroundings but not enough to dispel an unsettling feeling in the air.
As soon as the cars stopped, dozens of black vans emerged from the darkness, encircling them like vultures closing in on prey.
The headlights of their vehicles cut through the gloom, illuminating everything around them even more starkly.
"Equip your guns with silencers," Arthur commanded as he swung open his car door and stepped out into this tense standoff. "Don't kill them, just injure them."
His bodyguards quickly followed suit, forming a protective barrier around him.
The moment they exited their vehicles, doors of the black vans flung open to reveal various figures stepping out.
Each one bore unkind expressions and malicious intent glimmering in their eyes.
Armed with an array of weapons, knives, machetes, sticks, they looked every bit like trouble.
Tattoos snaked up their arms and necks; dyed hair in vibrant colors framed their faces adorned with piercings.
Just from their appearance alone, Arthur could tell these were no ordinary thugs; they were gangsters.
"Well, well! If it isn't Arthur Osborn," sneered a burly man who seemed to lead this motley crew.
His tattooed body flexed menacingly as he grinned wickedly at Arthur. "Someone paid me handsomely to collect your head." ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Arthur chuckled lightly, unfazed by the threat hanging in the air. "Don't worry; there will definitely be some heads rolling, but it won't be mine."
"I like your arrogance," retorted the burly man with a twisted smile.
He waved his hand dismissively as if swatting away an annoying fly. "Take care of them!"
