Broken Bond: Claimed by My Ex-Husband's Alpha Billionaire Uncle-Chapter 135: The Final Scene of Filming
"Cut!" Director Logan Barnes’s voice echoed across the set. A wide smile spread across his face, showing just how satisfied he was with the final scene of The Broken Bond.
"Good job, everyone!" He clapped his hands, and the crew quickly joined in with cheers and applause.
Charlotte, still holding Lily in her arms, couldn’t help but smile as she clapped along with the little girl.
The movie concluded with a scene where the main character, Lena, was finally able to walk away from all the abuse that had chained her in the past.
Lena’s husband ended up in prison after trying to forcibly take their daughter, Olivia, and even attempting to throw her from the third floor.
The court then granted Lena full custody of Olivia, ensuring that her daughter would never again be within reach of her violent father. It was a long and exhausting battle, but Lena had finally broken free from the shackles of her abusive marriage.
For years, she had lived in constant fear, carrying both visible scars and hidden ones deep inside.
But in that courtroom, holding Olivia’s tiny hand, she realized she was no longer the fragile woman who had once begged for love from the wrong man.
She had become a mother strong enough to protect her child with everything she had.
In the final scene, Lena walked through the courthouse doors with Olivia in her arms. The sunlight spilled over them, casting away the shadows that had haunted her life for so long.
There was still so much she had to do to build a better life for Olivia. But at least now, Lena had a steady job as a social worker.
It wasn’t glamorous, and it certainly wasn’t easy, but it gave her purpose. Helping other women and children who had gone through the same pain she once endured made her feel stronger, as if her wounds had finally turned into a source of light for others.
The film ended with a simple yet powerful message: even in the darkest of stories, healing and freedom were possible.
Lena was no longer a victim, but she was a survivor, a mother, and above all, a woman who had found her way back to herself.
That message aligned perfectly with Charlotte’s own life.
Although Julian was still hiding in the shadow, but at least now she had the strength to walk away from the abuse that once held her down.
She was no longer Julian Warren’s victim, but a survivor who was able to stand firmly on her own feet.
Perhaps because of that, some of the crew members, even the director himself, were deeply moved and couldn’t hold back their tears. Through the filming process, they had become silent witnesses to Charlotte’s own journey.
Just like Lena, the character she portrayed, Charlotte had risen from her own despair as well. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
She had endured abuse from her ex-husband, yet she had managed to stand tall again, and now, in her real life, she had someone new, a man who loved her deeply and treated her with the tenderness she had long been denied.
For the crew, it was more than just acting, but it felt as though Charlotte had poured pieces of her soul into Lena, blurring the line between fiction and reality.
Every tear, every broken smile, every trembling word on screen carried a weight that came from somewhere painfully real.
"Mr. Barnes, why are you crying so loudly?" Charlotte let out a soft chuckle as she walked toward Logan. After setting Lily down from her arms, she added with a playful smile, "Don’t tell me you’re going to ruin your reputation as the toughest director in Hollywood."
Honestly, Charlotte had heard rumors from other actresses that Logan was a director notoriously hard to please. But with her, he had always been genuinely kind. He never once turned down her requests, even when Charlotte needed to take a short vacation in the middle of filming.
Well, maybe that had something to do with her relationship with Damon, but ... even putting Damon’s influence aside, Logan had always shown a strange softness toward her. It wasn’t favoritism in a negative sense, but more like an unspoken respect that no one dared to question.
Logan let out a small laugh, shaking his head as if trying to brush away the accusation. "Charlotte, you’re truly something else." He paused for a moment, then lowered his voice. "You’re the first actress who actually made me not want to finish the filming process too quickly!"
"I mean it. Your performance has been incredible. I rarely needed more than one take with you. Every time you stepped in front of the camera, you brought Lena to life in a way I’ll never forget." Logan’s smile turned gentle, his eyes sincere. "I’m really glad you decided to come back, Charlotte."
"So do I, Mr. Barnes." Charlotte said softly. "I’m happy I found my way back into this world again."
For a moment, silence lingered between them, not awkward, but filled with mutual understanding.
Charlotte had walked through storms, both in her life and in her career, and yet here she was, standing tall, reclaiming the passion she once thought she had lost forever.
Logan gave her a small nod, his expression almost fatherly. "Then don’t let anyone take it away from you again."
Charlotte’s lips curved into a determined smile. "I won’t."
Before Logan could say anything else, a crew member called out from across the set, "Mr. Barnes! Let’s take a picture together!"
Logan clicked his tongue and shot back, "You haven’t even brought me flowers yet!"
Everyone could feel how close they had become, more like family than coworkers, and more often than not, Damon’s luxury meal support behind the scenes had made sure the team was always cared for.
In truth, this warmth and closeness wouldn’t have been possible without Charlotte.
"Charlotte, congratulations!" Noella, her makeup artist, ran up with a bright smile, carrying a bucket of roses. "I’m so happy I got the chance to work with you!"
Charlotte’s eyes softened as she accepted the roses, their fragrance sweet and comforting. She hugged Noella warmly. "Thank you, Noella. I couldn’t have done this without you."
Aside from being her professional makeup artist, Noella often gave her support like a true friend. Because of her, the long and exhausting days of filming had felt a little lighter, a little easier to bear.
"Charlotte, congratulations!"
One by one, people began gathering around her, handing her bouquets of flowers and small gifts like chocolates and handwritten notes. Her arms were quickly full, but her smile never faded as she accepted each one with gratitude.
Then, not long after, Charlotte suddenly heard one of the crew members shouting her name from across the set. "Charlotte! You got a package from Mr. Sullivan!"
