Broken Awakening: All My Weapons Are Legendary-Chapter 37: Battle of Dragon’s Mouth (2)
In Goldtree...
Diana stood in the training grounds of The Goldtree Academy with Archmage Supreme Jyselle in front of her.
The blind blonde-haired woman was delivering her a lesson on the basics of mana manipulation; however, Diana’s mind was elsewhere.
Jyselle stopped for a moment, letting out a great sigh.
"You’re still worried about your husband?"
Diana stirred, surprised that she had been so easy to read.
"He’s not my husband yet... but yes. Levian has never been in a war before. To send him into a battlefield to help the losing side was unreasonable."
...
SLAP!
Diana felt a smack land on her face, stinging her cheek. She thought Jyselle had struck her with her hand, but the archmage had used a wind spell to give the same effect.
"W-what was that for!"
Jyselle hardly reacted. "Three reasons. First, for being distracted during our lessons. Second, for not having faith in King Gaëlf’s decision. And third... for not having faith in your own husband."
Diana jumped in surprise. Her face reddened, and not just from the smack she had received.
She’s right...
"I-I’m sorry."
Jyselle’s face softened as she let out a sigh.
"Don’t be sorry. Every word is wasted breath. Now, hurry up and break through to silver, then maybe you can be of some use to your husband in the future.

Dragon’s Mouth...
Levian twirled Nyx in his hand, cutting down any humans that still dared to raise their weapons against his forces.
His plan had worked perfectly. White Sun had not only created an opening for them but had also disoriented the enemy’s forces.
They struggled to deliver an organised strike against the 22 elves, and anytime they did attack, it was easily defended by the mages and countered.
Levian smiled as he watched his legendary weapons go to work. All sorts of skills were tearing through the enemy, ranging from elemental magic to sword skills that left opponents unable to breathe.
He hardly found himself having to lift his own weapon.
Until...
CLANK!
Levian raised Nyx just in time to defend from a strike that soared towards him.
It seemed to be an arc of wind from a sword slice. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
Levian was forced to slow down for a moment, whilst his men carried on ahead of him, as two more wind strikes came.
CLANK CLANK!
He managed to defend them both.
Sun turned around, preparing to stop with Levian.
"Bladeblessed!" He called, but Levian roared at him through gritted teeth.
"Go! Whatever you do, do not fucking turn back!"
The young elf and the others continued to sprint, as did Levian, but at this point, he was lagging behind, and the humans had started to rally their forces and chase after them.
Levian cursed as he continued to block a barrage of strikes that came from somewhere in the distance.
He focused his eyes to see where they came from.
There!
Dashing through the field ahead of him was a helmeted man in blue armour, dragging his longsword on the ground behind him.
His attention was locked on Levian, as he screamed orders for the knights to continue chasing the elves.
"Leave the man in the red cape, he’s mine! Stop the others from escaping."
I see. So you’re the commander?
Levian deviated from his group and began to sprint towards the commander. It might have been a stupid move, but he didn’t care.
Without the commander, the forces chasing after the elves would become even more disjointed, and would most likely fail.
That meant that all Levian had to do was stop the commander, or better yet, take him down.
The two sprinted towards each other, both dragging their swords behind them.
[Lucas Fairwind]
[High-Gold]
[Life Force: 600/600]
Lucas Fairwind swung his blade upwards, sending another arc of wind soaring towards Levian. All he needed to do was weave to the side to dodge the simple strike.
After the distance was closed between them, both parties swung their blades with all their might, crashing in the open air between them.
The impact could be heard from a mile away.
Levian felt his body vibrate, but he braced his feet into the ground. Lucas, on the other hand, was sent sliding backwards, unable to keep his poise.
"What the fuck?" He cursed. "You’re only a low-gold."
The two circled each other, Levian twirled Nyx with a smile on his face.
"And you’re only high-gold. I’ve faced stronger."
The words angered Lucas, and he charged again preparing to swing. The man most likely had a low agility stat, since he moved slowly, making it easy for Levian to react.
Fade Between Realms!
Everything went black and white.
He circled around the enemy Commander. Attempting to get his flank, but then, the man suddenly stabbed his sword into the dirt.
A golden protective bubble formed around him, and he closed his eyes and focused on his defence. He was expecting a strike and was determined not to allow it through.
However, Nyx boasted a tremendous amount of attack power, and Fade Between Realms guaranteed a critical hit.
Levian reappeared and swung his black horizontally, and the weapon crashed into the defence with all 1600 units of power.
THUD!
The strike didn’t go through.
Levian’s weapon was repelled, and his eyes went wide in disbelief.
Lucas withdrew his sword from the grass proudly, allowing the bubble to fade away.
"You think that the defensive skills of a Guardian can be destroyed so easily?" The man laughed from beneath his helmet.
It suddenly made sense to Levian. The man’s attacks were so easy to deflect because his class was centred around defence, rather than offence.
He cursed to himself as the pair reentered their stances and began to circle each other once again.
A sword fight will be drawn out... I need to change my tactic if I want to make it back to my men in time.
Levian withdrew his weapon, and took out Eagledraw, the green Longbow, before shuffling backwards and preparing to strike.
His speed was faster than a Guardian’s, so the man simply stood his ground and waited.
He heard Lucas chuckle from beneath his helmet. It was even easier to defend against ranged attacks, so he wasn’t bothered.
However, there was a specific reason why Levian had chosen to use this weapon.
It’s unique talent, Sky King’s Draw.
Sky King’s Gaze ~ Every fully charged shot marks a target with "Eagle’s Sight." If the marked target is more than 10 metres away and fails to damage the wielder within 5 seconds, the mark becomes Fated Prey, causing the next arrow to strike with true aim, bypassing barriers, dodges, and deflections.
Levian drew a singular green arrow until he heard a pinging sound, signalling that the arrow had been fully drawn.
A smirk crept onto his face.
"You might want to dodge this."
