Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game-Chapter 178 - 119 Have a child
The flying altitude slowly decreased, and Charlotte Miller seemed to be stunned by the scene before her.
Atlas Hallow had truly brought her to a world meant for two.
Below was a vast, lush forest, snow thinly covering the tall trees, silent as if the entire forest had fallen under a spell, even the helicopter’s roar couldn’t break this enchanted world.
In the midst of these dense woods, there was a clearing about the size of a football field, and there appeared to be a wooden cabin there, its lights already shining. Warm orange light seeped from the gaps in the cabin, illuminating the night sky she had just traversed through.
Sometimes, even a little warm light can be enough to light up the sky.
The helicopter came to a stop, Charlotte awoke from her dreamlike state to see him, his deep-set eyes still carrying a faint smile. From somewhere, he pulled out a large cloak, wrapping her entirely before opening the cabin door, letting her down.
The outside air was hard to describe in words, just that it was extremely cold, yet very pure and fresh.
Without a trace of the outside world’s impurities, no scorching air from cars, no bustling noise, no harshness from concrete and steel, no smoke, nothing at all.
Clean as if it were the beginning of heaven and earth, clean as if everything were being reborn...
That pure and cold air instantly seeped into her lungs, making even her breathing feel incredibly light.
The sheepskin boots made a subtle crunching sound on the snow, the sound tickling her heart because it was so quiet that such sounds felt exciting.
The cabin in the forest was just ahead, not quite a small cabin.
In which girl’s dreams haven’t there been those ancient castles, incredible magic, and cabins in the forest, along with princes who can save everything? And as if in this moment, all those childhood fantasies returned to her heart, slowly extending from her steps into reality.
"Hurry up..." Atlas Hallow watched her walking slowly, her face becoming more translucent in the cold air, like a crystal doll, unable to resist pulling her hand, starting to run towards the cabin ahead.
She couldn’t keep up with his long legs, just running, continuously laughing, letting the delicate snowflakes dance on her lashes.
Heading up the steps, Atlas Hallow pushed the door open, holding Charlotte’s hand as they entered, a warm breath greeted them, completely separate from the outside world.
Charlotte unfastened the thick cape, her heart fluctuating constantly tonight, not expecting such a cabin in the forest.
The wooden floor was covered with a long Persian carpet, boasting very unique patterns. On the sofa lay a blanket made from glossy soft black fur, sparkling. On the low wooden table were black truffle chocolates, candies, cookies, and a few bottles of champagne. The fireplace was blazing, and the dining table had a variety of foods. Atlas gently wrapped his arm around Charlotte’s waist, whispering softly at her ear, "Do you like it?"
"I love it." She looked out the window, snowflakes falling, the distant trees seemingly adorned with frosty blooms, while inside, the warmth made sweat begin to pearl on her skin.
Atlas began unbuttoning her coat, helping her off with it, then started taking off his own coat.
"You go change, I’ll prepare supper." Atlas pointed upstairs, signaling her to change on her own.
"Don’t need me to help?" Charlotte watched Atlas unbuttoning his shirt, each button revealing a strong and attractive chest, then simply took it off, starting to busy himself with his upper body bare.
"No need." The man’s deep voice came over, along with the crackling sound of burning coal, Charlotte smiled as she ascended the stairs.
No need to bring luggage, he had prepared everything.
But weren’t those pajamas too...
Short black silk camisole top paired with tiny shorts just below the hips—probably can’t bend over, otherwise it’d all be exposed. The pajamas were very sophisticated, making her feel alluring even to herself, but it seemed a little inappropriate.
Luckily, the forest only had them, wonder if there’d be any beasts?
Charlotte donned a loose soft black robe and descended barefoot without fastening the belt.
The things prepared were simple, basically already cooked food, plated nicely placed on the coffee table in front of the sofa. He had also changed into a pair of casual pants, loose pants just snugly sitting on the hips.
He still didn’t wear a top, but the temperature in this cabin didn’t require it.
Charlotte’s eyes moved down from the man’s firmly defined chin, a sexy Adam’s apple exclusive to men, then further down was his broad solid shoulders looking powerful and muscular. The clavicles raising and descending revealed his distinctly defined, enticing chest—this man’s physique could score a hundred points without the fear of him getting arrogant.
Seeing Charlotte descend the stairs was still breathtakingly stunning.
Seldom does a woman exhibit both sensuality and innocence so fully, but Charlotte does.
As she walks step by step towards him, her long lashes fluttering lightly like gossamer wings, her skin all aglow from the firelight turning opalescent pink, heaven endowed all its beauty upon Charlotte, yet he was the lucky man receiving this gift.
"Do you like it here?" Nestled together on the sofa, Charlotte listening to his heartbeat, murmuring like a lazy little animal, the room warm as spring, while outside was a vast icy winter she could almost stay like this forever.
Atlas Hallow’s gaze fell deeply upon Charlotte, large hands slowly moving across her, every place touched exuding warmth.
The woman’s bare long legs unconsciously crossed lightly, her delicate skin radiant like pearls, mesmerizingly beautiful.
She was his woman, solely his since the moment she truly belonged to him, he never intended to let go.
Such a beautiful woman on the business scene indeed posed dangers, Charlotte easily stirred men’s possessive desires, just thinking about this made his chest stir with hot blood, igniting all his cells in a call to possess...
In his hand, the ruby-like wine was downed in one go, never had he thought he’d go through great lengths to prepare such things for a woman. Since he dared not believe in love nor expect it to come, once obtaining it he would become endlessly greedy, seemingly insatiable wanting more, wanting all of her as though attaining all would bring happiness.
"Give me a child..." Atlas Hallow’s lips landed on Charlotte’s forehead, she was resting upon his leg, upon hearing this sentence remained silent for a few moments then slowly spoke.
"Of course, are you sure?" This was a ritual between the two, exchanging commitments to nurture a new life, creating an unbreakable bond.
"I’m sure..." Not merely creating an illusion for Hailey Hill, suddenly he desired a child too; a sweet and adorable little girl resembling her, or perhaps a tremendously clever boy like her—whichever, so long as it’s hers.
"Why so soon?" Just days past discussing this, unexpectedly mentioned it again, does he truly love children? It doesn’t seem so from appearances.
Stern, somewhat rigid, hard to imagine what his child would be like; a little stickler perhaps?
"But there is one thing you must promise me." Charlotte let his hand roam over her, flames everywhere seemingly about to ignite; yet before it did she endeavored to remain clear-headed.
"Tell me, what’s the matter?" Atlas Hallow regarded Charlotte’s earnest little face, intuitively feeling what she wanted him to promise might bring inconvenience.
"If—I’m saying if—we eventually separate, you cannot use any reason or excuse to fight me for the child, that’s my only condition." Charlotte stated, slowly sitting upright meeting Atlas Hallow’s gaze, reiterated, "Alright? No reason shall justify disputing over the child."
"Why always envisage separation?" Atlas Hallow’s breath grew dangerous, seemingly brewing a storm, those dark as ink eyes were its center.
He couldn’t let her leave, be it confinement, be it captivity, thus no way could this woman ever leave him.
"I’m saying if; in this world, anything can happen." Charlotte bowed, unable to meet Atlas Hallow’s eyes, fearing being swept into their vortex.
Throughout her life Charlotte would attract romance, she would marry twice...
Luna Miller’s words unexpectedly reverberated in his mind, inciting his eyes to turn blood-red, if she dare marry another he’d surely kill whoever that man was.
She could only be his, could only belong solely to him...
