Bought For A Baby, Kept For A Lifetime-Chapter 66: Bad Boy.
He was suddenly ticked off and grabbed her arms roughly. "Don’t make me ask again damnit!"
However instead of answering, she struggled against his harsh hold, when she couldn’t escape from his angry grasp, she turned her head and clamped her teeth down on the back of his hand.
He felt the pain come harshly and his eyes darkened into a more angry shade, his grip on her arms tightened with her bite and instead of letting go immediately like she expected, he actually gripped her tighter that she became the one sucking in a breath in pain.
She released her teeth from his hand and slowly looked up at him, her brown eyes growing timid upon seeing the look of pure rage in his eyes.
She nervously bit her lip, blinking like a rabbit caught in a corner.
The man’s hand moved to grab her jaw roughly. His voice dangerously low as he said,
"You bit me?"
She blinked nervously again.
"I..."
"How dare you?"
He was undoubtedly angry.
Though she couldn’t remember much right now, her instinct seemed to tell her that this man did horrible things when he was angered.
She was in big trouble!
Well...her mother always said do not show the wolf your fear and he’ll walk away. Do not tremble in front of him.
So she raised her chin despite his firm grip, "Yes, so I did bite you..."
She spoke with feigned confidence that couldn’t be seen through.
"What will you do about it?"
Her eyes were glistening under the brilliant moonlight, her lips were reddened from her biting it. His gaze suddenly couldn’t be peeled away from her adorable looking face.
The man’s eyes seemed to flash, narrowing slightly as he suddenly replied.
"Take my revenge."
After he said that, he didn’t give her a chance to react as his mouth suddenly closed over her own.
Anne’s eyes flashed wide open. Her body stiffening completely.
His mouth parted her own with a fierceness she couldn’t fight against. And her whole body turned to jelly, her knees nearly buckled.
Her veins thumped with a familiar pace that couldn’t be controlled. Her senses suddenly heightened that she felt his soft and warm tongue probing over her lips making her tremble in his arms before his teeth closed over her lower lip, biting her.
Ouch!
He bit her?
This brute actually bit her?
She suddenly pushed at his chest, surprisingly he actually let her push him away.
An evil smirk was sitting on his lips. As she gazed at him with accusation, her palm closed over her mouth as if she was afraid he would do it to her again.
"You bit me!" She accused, her voice muffled behind her palm.
"Yes, so I did bite you. What will you do about it?" He used her exact words with a smirk on his devilish lips.
She pointed an angry finger at him, "You..."
She wanted to curse him obviously, but no words came. Her heart was still thumping, her body making strange reactions to his sudden kiss.
For some reason, his lips raised even further at her expression. A strange satisfaction spreading into his chest.
Andrew also couldn’t understand himself, one second he was infuriated with her for one, not answering his questions, and two, daring to bite him. If it were anyone else in her place, he couldn’t begin to imagine how he would react.
He was aware that his own temper did tend to overpower him sometimes, but with her his temper seemed to have suddenly dissipated with a look into her eyes and he’d kissed her, playfully giving her a bite.
He found himself liking the look of outrage on her face.
"You...got your revenge, now apologize to my audience."
"What damned audience are you going on about?" He growled in slight irritation at her insistence.
She clicked her tongue pointing behind him at the sky.
"The stars! I was singing to the stars, but you just had to interrupt me. Mortals don’t disrespect the stars, quick apologize."
Was that actually why she was singing at the top of her voice this late?
Could three glasses of whiskey do this to someone? She’d completely lost her mind.
He wasn’t going to take any part in this. Forget it, he would get his answer from her about the song when she was sober.
She could go on and sing all of Andrea Walters songs If she so wanted, he didn’t give a damn. Because she was nothing like that woman.
She was nothing like her. So she could go on and do whatever she wanted.
He was walking back into his room when he suddenly stopped in his tracks as something came back to his mind.
Clause number six on the surrogacy contract; Party B, upon taking full payment as agreed will be required to forfeit any rights to the child to Party A.
Recalling that specific clause, he could no longer move. A cold feeling, chilling to the bones trailed into him all at once.
"...she told me to wait..."
He saw that ten year old boy sitting in the rain on that park bench again and something twisted in his chest.
That clause in the contract had been for the sole purpose of removing a woman with similar traits to Andrea Walters from the child’s life. He didn’t want the child to feel hope like his ten year old self had, he didn’t want it to feel a hope that would be dashed.
Turning around, he settled his gaze back on Anne who had gone back to climb the stool once more to keep singing.
Something complicated fleeted past his dark eyes.
He stared at her back for a long time before his face hardened and he shifted his gaze from her, going back inside but he didn’t expect her to suddenly hop off the stool and race after him.
He’d already gotten on the bed when someone unexpectedly jumped on top of him. Straddling him down onto the bed.
His eyes instantly snapped open, his brows drawing together.
"What the fuck..." His remaining words were suddenly muffled as she closed her palm over his mouth.
"Shh, don’t say another word."
His eyes narrowed in threat.
"Tsk, how can you keep scaring people with your eyes? If you keep trying to scare me then I’ll blindfold you." She threatened then grinned like a predator who’d caught it’s prey.
Get off me!
He continued to communicate with a fatally stern gaze. Most people would shiver instantly upon contact with his eyes, he had that powerful effect on people.
It wasn’t his fault, confidence was something every man should possess. And for someone like him who knew how to harness the full extent of his mind, his confidence and his charm, people would fall into his control.
He didn’t believe that a mere thing like alcohol strength could cause this woman to resist his...
His train of thought halted when she actually lightly slapped his left cheek twice.
"Don’t be rude to people..."
Another slap.
"Apologize when you offend people."
Another slap.
"Don’t just yell at people, then kiss them and bite them. Bad boy."
The third slap made his eyes turn dark the girl on top of him stiffened, fear quickly shrouding her face.
Danger oozed all around making the temperature instantly drop to a chilling degree of coldness.
Anyone who saw the man’s rage filled eyes in this moment would rather dive into hell unprotected than face what was going to come next.
