"Not here. Let’s do this inside." Emma sighed but obliged her friends eventually. She did not like where this was going but since she was put on the spot, she really had no choice but to agree.

"So spill it." Penelope urged. She was the impatient one and so it showed at this time as usual. The group was now seated inside a private room in the house.

This was a big mansion with a swimming pool and an indoor bowling section. One private room was definitely not a thing to people with money.

"Well... it started with my engagement. Do you all remember that..." Emma filled the rest with the story and it was a remarkable tale indeed. Her story telling took more or less 30 minutes from start to finish.

Everyone could not believe their ears at the conclusion.

It was as if they all shared this wonderful fantastical vision of something or someone out of this world.

"..." Emma continued yet her words were heard by no one but the one. Chloe, Lily, Isabella, and Penelope glimpsed unto a wonder that was not meant for mere mortals like them.

And the spell was struck true.

He did not flash some more but walked on this icy landscape of nothingness. Hours turned into days and upon the 60th day came statues made of ice upon every direction.

There were men and women in fancy robes... cultivators the lot of them... but there were also others. Alien, dragons, demons, leviathans, phoenixes, and more. A whole horde of them.

Still, the entirety of this combined legion could still not reach one step before the simple hut made of ice at the heart of this immortal domain.

"The war is lost."

"...I have failed." A bleak voice came out from the simple hut. It was a maiden’s voice which was unusual on this god forsaken place.

"You may have failed in the past but the future is yet unknown. And perhaps I can be of help still." Clark offered with benefits of course in his mind and motivation.

"GO AWAY!" The maiden’s voice easily turned mad and malicious. There was great strength with just this voice alone and it focused unto the only living soul outside of this refuge made of hut.

"BANG!" The cold embraced the very form our good gamer and yet the effect seemed minute. A burning flame rose from his heart and it simply melted the kiss of ice on his skin.

"A fiery dao heart. Another crazy immortal." The maiden cussed loudly. The temperature dropped at a terrible pace and it was clear that there was going to be a battle between immortals anytime soon.

Alas, a word stopped the crazy gathering of energies.

"Linfeng." A name to be exact.
