Chapter 66 -61 Level 9, Task_3

Ronan saw the young wizard named “Reiny” he had previously encountered in the tavern, now already standing before the task registration desk.

This guy was a Level 7 Apprentice, exuding a resolute and ambitious demeanor, completely unaware that since he left, one of his companions had secretly started to hit on his wizard girlfriend.

Ronan stood in front of the notice board, silently gazing at the task marked “God Burning Potion” for a while, his eyes flickering uncertainly.

Then he walked to the task registration area and inquired,

“When is the deadline for the God Burning Potion task?”

The Academic Wizard in charge of task registration looked quite young and was fairly polite towards Ronan.

“In five days.

Are you signing up?

What’s your name?”

However, Ronan shook his head, turned around, and withdrew from the crowd.

“Five days…

Should be enough time, I suppose.”

By now, Ronan had completely calmed down.

He naturally wouldn’t easily give up the opportunity to obtain the God Burning Potion.

However, before that, he needed to make some preparations.

Whether or not to accept this task…

it’ll depend on whether the things he plans to do in the next five days go smoothly.

After leaving the notice board area, Ronan went straight to the Dwarf Market.

As a Level 9 Apprentice, he had long since gained free entry to the Dwarf Market.

Ronan made several stops at the Magic Tool Workshops and the Magic Potion Workshops, spending almost all the Magic Stone on him before returning to his dwelling and staying indoors.

Five days later.

In the dimly lit small cabin, Ronan slowly sheathed his dull and lightless longsword, restoring it to the shape of a magic wand.

He tidied up the magic robe on his body, cleared away the empty potion bottles scattered on the floor, and stepped out of the cabin.

The sunlight outside was blazing, Ronan squinted his eyes, took a moment to adjust to the daylight after five days, and then walked towards the town center.

Upon arrival, the task on the notice board was still there.

Ronan took a sweep glance and his gaze locked onto an elderly-looking Grey Robed Wizard, whose right hand beneath his robe was gently shaking something that looked like a shattered mirror.

After completing this final operation, Ronan walked straight towards the task registration desk.

“You’re cutting it pretty close…”

The Academic Wizard doing the registration glanced at the time and said: “If you were any later, this task would’ve been completely closed.”

He then handed Ronan a small copper token, instructing him to follow the academy’s path straight ahead, where someone would judge whether he met the criteria to participate in this task. freewebnσvel.cѳm

Ronan, holding the copper token, walked inward along the academy’s road and soon saw a line of people waiting by the road.

The young wizard named “Reiny” he had seen five days ago was in the queue, embracing a young witch, sharing a tender parting kiss.

The male wizard who Ronan had previously caught “hitting on someone else’s partner” stood beside them.

Recognizing Ronan’s face, he immediately turned away with a guilty look.

“Although I’m only a Level 6 Apprentice, I have a magic tool that can unleash an Advanced Zero Rank Electric Spear Skill, possessing the strength of an Advanced Apprentice.

Why can’t I join?!”

A middle-aged looking Intermediate Wizard Apprentice in the crowd was shouting, continuously being ushered away by someone donning an academy magic robe.

“The rules of the task are what they are, there’s nothing you can do about it if you’re dissatisfied…

It’s for your own good, anyways.

Rushing in underprepared is most likely a death sentence…

Move along now, come on…”

The middle-aged man ultimately failed to persuade the academy’s staff with his Advanced Magic Tool and left with a look of dejection.

His commotion instead drew the attention of the others in the queue.

Ronan clearly saw an Advanced Apprentice Wizard who originally seemed to be there for the task leaving the line decisively after hearing that the man had an Advanced Electric Spear Skill Magic Tool, then stealthily followed in the direction the man had departed.
