Blade of the Goddess-Chapter 209
Chapter 209: Chapter 209
Lidia braced herself, creating a dome of mana around her, shielding herself with a body barrier of fire, and activating her nanotech armor.
Judging by the speed, weight, and strength of the fleshtopus, she knew a few bones would be broken, but that was better than losing her life or suffering severe injuries.
Aurora and Alice also tried to help her, but even with their fast casting speed, they wouldn’t make it in time.
Just as the tentacle was about to crush Lidia, a blinding dark-blue light pierced right through the fleshtopus and blew it up from the inside. Blue flames engulfed the monstrosity, burning it to ashes.
"What the fuck was that?" Lidia wondered, preparing herself in case the person was an enemy.
Aurora’s eyes widened. "Is that..."
Alice’s face scrunched in anger. "A demon!" Without wasting a second thought, she rushed forward, creating two blood swords in her hands.
Zion had crashed their party, thinking that his entrance was amazing, unaware of Alice charging his way to slice off his head. He turned toward them, his charming smile on display, and his silver hair flowing in the wind.
"Hey girls, you missed-WHAT THE FUCK?!" He dodged the red blade aimed for his neck, backing up to put distance between the two of them.
Zion stuck his hands out to stop the raging Alice. "Hey, wait. Stop! What are you doing?"
"A demon who’s scared of a human? That’s a first." Alice smirked and continued her assault. She slashed at his chest, trying to draw blood that she could control. When that didn’t work, she combined her blades, extending her reach to overwhelm him.
Lidia joined in, not going to let the demon in front of her cause any destruction.
"I’ve dealt with your kind before." A purple flame engulfed her fists, and she slapped it into Zion’s back, only for him to turn around and catch her punch.
"Damn, that’s hot!" He winced
Aurora joined in as well. "I’ll hold him down!"
Golden shackles cuffed Zion’s arms and legs, trapping him in place. Then, a golden sword pierced through his chest, but instead of harming him, the sword acted as a spiritual chain, stopping his flow of mana.
’Woah! When did she come up with a spell like this?’ Zion wondered to himself.
Lidia smirked, punching her hand as she approached Zion. "Come on, Alice, let’s end this."
"Yeah." Just looking at Alice’s maniacal smile, you’d assume she had been a vampire her entire life.
Together, the three of them combined their magical power. The blood in Alice’s left hand and the fire in Lidia’s right hand merged, creating a new type of magic, Blood-Flame magic. Then, from the back, Aurora strengthened it even further, adding runes and magic circles to amplify the destructive capabilities of the spell.
"Time to do you ugly demon!" Lidia shouted, and together with Alice, they launched the spell at Zion. frёeωebɳovel.com
The Blood-Flames spiraled, consuming anything in their path before reaching Zion. It was a powerful and beautiful spell.
Zion was so impressed that he didn’t even block the attack. He wanted to know how it felt, how powerful his women had become. He was truly impressed by their creativity and thought it was only fair to get hit by their spell.
’Might as well act the part while I’m at it.’
"ARGHHHHHHH!!!!! AHHH! IT HURTS! S-STOP IT! ARGHHHHHH!!!!"
Lidia blushed in excitement. Hearing the pain and cries of a demon brought her joy.
Alice and Aurora were also smiling, impressed by their power and happy that they were able to kill a demon.
"ARGHHHHAAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Lidia furrowed her brow. "Is he laughing?"
"Uhhh, I’m pretty sure he’s supposed to be dying, not laughing," Alice commented
"Yeah, no shit smart ass."
"Wait, guys! He’s coming!"
Zion stepped out of the bloodflame completely unscathed. Even his clothes were unharmed.
"That was an amazing attack. So great that I had to play along just for a bit." Then he released his Mystic stage power, forcing the three of them to their knees.
"But did you seriously think that weak ass attack could kill me? A demon? Hmph, this is why you humans are inferior creatures." He used his Aura force to pull Lidia toward him, grabbing her throat tightly.
"I think I’ll kill you first."
Lidia scoffed. "You think you’ll get away with this? Once my fiancé learns what happens here, he’ll stop at nothing to kill you and your entire family."
Zion smiled. "Zion Zagan, right, that guy. Handsome, charming, has white hair and golden eyes. Created an organization called Heavens Bane, is currently trying to conquer the entirety of Midgard, recently got trapped in a Rank-11 fracture, finally made it back home and went to see his girl, only to find out she’s off in another kingdom fighting so he had to fly all the way here, kill that...what Fleshtopus? Then gets attacked by his girls, thinking he’s a demon."
The three of them were confused by Zion’s words. At first, everything he said made sense and was practically common knowledge, but then he started getting personal and specific. Finally, it clicked.
"Zion?!" Lidia asked, now on the ground without Zion’s hand around her neck.
"Hey, babe. I have a lot of explaining to do, but yeah, it’s me, I’m back. I’ve only been gone for like two weeks, but it felt longer."
"Oh my gosh! Zion!" She jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly and kissing him with so much passion that they fell onto the ground.
Aurora jumped in, not wanting Lidia to have all the fun, and got some kisses in as well.
Alice, who was shy when it came to physical affection, just opted for a peck on the lips, nothing more, nothing less. That was enough to make her head spin.
"Why do you look like that, though? Did you become a demon like Alice?" Lidia asked, looking at both Zion and Alice.
"It’s a long story. But I’ll sum it up to you in a few words. Ahem, Kidnapped, cleared fracture, got super strong, met Luminera’s twin sister, made me a Devil Apostle, wants me to help take over the demon world. That’s pretty much what happened."
They all nodded. "Now just tell us that again, but with all of the details this time."
