Chapter 191: Chapter 191

For thousands of years, people knew about the mystic stage. It was talked about in history, the great heroes achieved that stage, and most commonly, Dragons were known to reach that stage at some point in their lives.

So acknowledging the stage was normal, it wasn’t anything new. However, that couldn’t be the same when it came to a race other than the dragons.

Amber, Ruby, and every single person there were frozen, not from fear, but from the fact that Zaleena was the first non-dragon person in history to achieve the Mystic Stage. But if that wasn’t enough, Raven and Ignis, who had recently achieved this stage, showcased their power as well.

Now, everyone felt fear. How could they not? One of their strongest allies, Yole, was a Peak Transcendent with powerful armor and weapons. He honed his skills and abilities to the maximum, and the only way forward would be to break through. Yet, he was killed in one blow, a weak one at that.

Amber felt like a fool; she felt angry. Everything she did, all of her preparations, all of her planning, taking back the castle, getting in control of the Royal Army, all of it was for nothing when faced with a Mystic stage Cultivator, let alone three of them.

She turned to Zion and Crystal, her face twisting with rage. "Do you think you’ll get away with this?! I still haven’t lost yet!"

Crystal and Zion looked at each other, then burst out laughing.

"What?! What’s so funny?!" Amber growled

"Oh, sis, do you really believe you can still win? Trust me, you’ve lost. You don’t understand the power Zion has. I couldn’t believe my eyes when Zion showed me the things he worked on, the people he has in high places, and the way to make people stronger than ever. Give up, you’ll only make things more difficult for yourself."

Amber let out all of her rage and fury, shouting at her younger sister to put her down. "Y-You! You’re nothing but a bastard child! You’re whore of a mother couldn’t even keep her legs closed! You’re barely of royal blood!"

"Bitch, we share the same amount of royal blood. Just because your mother married our father doesn’t mean you’re more of a royal member than I am. Our kingdom doesn’t have royal blood in other noble houses, so it’s not like your mom was descended from royalty."

Then a wicked grin appeared on Crystal’s face. "Speaking of mothers."

One of Zion’s men marched to where they were, tossing Harletta, Amber’s mother, onto the ground.

"Mother!" Amber shouted, rushing to her side.

"You little bitch! Just wait until my father arrives. He’ll kill all of you!" Harletta screamed

"Oh, little Harlet, you’re father is dead. Look, you can see both sides of him there on the ground." Crystal pointed to the Y-shaped scar in the ground.

"I-Impossible! M-My father, he’s strong, the strongest. He can’t be dead. Sweetie, tell me it’s not true. Your grandfather is alive, right?!"

Just feeling Amber’s hand tighten, and the dreaded look on her face confirmed her fears.

"How dare you! I’ll kill you! I’ll fucking kill you, daughter of a fucking whor-ughhh" Her voice was cut off and Harletta’s eyes widened. Blood filled her throat and then pooled down her neck. She looked at Amber one last time before he head rolled off her shoulders.

"NOOOOOOO!! MOTHERRRRR!"

"She was getting pretty annoying. Sorry ’bout that." Zion chuckled.

"You will pay! Everyone, attack!"

No one attacked. They weren’t stupid. One Mystic being alone would slaughter the entire Royal Army, and they were up against three of them. This didn’t even include the transcendents and ascendants Zion had on his side.

One wrong step, and they all die.

Zion nodded, impressed by their survival skills and not attacking out of blind loyalty.

Clearing his throat, Zion spoke up. "I’ll only say this once, and after I finish speaking, you will only have ten seconds to do what I command. Lay down your weapons, or we will kill every last one of you here without a second thought."

It wasn’t even two seconds later when everyone, Amber’s faction and the royal army, laid down their weapons and surrendered.

"Phwahahahahahahaa! Some loyal subjects you all are. Oh god, you’re gonna make me cry. Oh yeah, kill everyone."

The people froze and fear struck their bodies like a truck....carriage, struck their bodies...actually, Zion created trucks, so using that analogy is okay. Fear struck their bodies like a truck as Zion commanded his people to kill them.

"Ah, I’m just kidding." He waved his hand. "Just kill Amber’s faction."

"Yes, sir."

And so, the few thousand people who belonged to Amber’s Faction were slaughtered in cold blood, never to see the light of day ever again.

"Go and destroy their noble houses as well. And their families. I want no traces of them by tomorrow."

The royal army could only sit still and allow such an event to happen. They were powerless. Still, this was better than being killed.

"Okay, now that that’s out of the way. Listen up, people. Starting today, Crystal Von Astir is your Queen. Treat her with honor and respect. If one of you even looks at her the wrong way, you’re fucking dead. But don’t worry, she won’t rule with an iron fist, right?" Zion asked, turning to her.

"No, I won’t. I wish to see a future where everyone in the kingdom is treated fairly and with respect. I wish to see us prosper, grow, and be united. Under my rule, the kingdom will thrive in a way it has never done before, especially with the help of Zion here. Swear loyalty to me, and becoming something such as breathing through to the mystic stage will be a reality. What do you say?"

"I’m in!" A soldier announced, standing up.

"Me too!"

"Same here!"

"I’ll follow you!"

"I never liked your siblings anyway."

Everyone here swore their loyalty to Crystal, all hoping for a better future, and honestly not trying to die.
