[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 325: Sticky
Eden didn’t know much about how the Military Academy worked, but from what he had read in novels and seen in dramas, he was familiar with this plotline.
The competition which always determined most things here. One challenging another to a grand competition that involved military-related stuff, where the winner of these rounds would have the final say.
Eden knew how it worked and knew what it was about. And at the moment, he was pretty confident about it.
The other students in the hall were already freaking out. They couldn’t help but pity Eden because the bullies would certainly win—it was a sort of rule that no one won against them. They were either just that good or something.
Some who cared about Eden were signaling him not to accept this challenge. It was basically a trap to ruin him and his stay here. They knew more.
But Eden casually smiled while staring at the bully. "Is that so? Will you keep your word if I beat you in the competition?"
The bully scoffed, pissed. "Beat me? And what makes you think you can win against me at my own game?" He laughed. "You should get ready to be torn apart."
Eden tilted his head. "Are you already worried? You shouldn’t share your worries with me and just answer the damn question. I don’t care if you’re good at the game or not. I just want confirmation," he demanded.
The bully stared at him, pissed at his snap. He found Eden disrespectful, especially for the fact that he was looking down on him and interrupting him. But he held himself. "Sure. I always keep my word, at least for my dignity. So all you have to do is win, which is impossible, and I’ll do as you say."
"Then that’s all I need to know. Deal. Set the date and time and we’ll run it. Get ready to do as you say then," Eden folded his arms.
The bully glared at him with a scoff. "And who do you think you are? A prodigy or what? You should get ready to serve me and not boast here."
"That’s up to me to decide, so shut up and go get ready to be taken down. Okay?" He smiled at him.
The bully held himself as he raised an eyebrow. He was as shocked as the others—shocked at Eden’s audacity and wondered where the hell it was coming from.
"Whatever. In three days, afternoon at the general training ground. I’ll make sure to destroy you then." That was all the bully said as he turned and walked off with his friends. They were all pissed.
People were already staring at them, and some were laughing behind their hands. Someone had challenged and embarrassed them, so of course it was something worth laughing about. And they left, humiliated.
All eyes were on Eden now. They couldn’t help but stare at the newbie who dared talk down to the bullies. Some were marveled at him, while some simply pitied him.
They predicted amongst themselves that he’d fail and his stay here would be made hell by those bullies.
But Eden ignored all their stares and murmuring and looked down at the nerdy guy, who had his eyes on him. He was simply shocked at what sort of confidence Eden had to do what he did.
Eden smiled as he sat down beside him. "The name’s Eden, senior. What’s yours?"
The nerd guy looked around and then stared at him. He was feeling rather nervous but managed to say, "Aron..."
"Aron. Nice name. So how are you doing today?" He asked with a smile.
"Ah... fine...?" Aron stared at him and looked around. He was already nervous with all the attention going his way. It was simply making things worse for him.
Eden smiled. "That’s good then. Don’t worry about those bullies, senior. I’ll make sure to put them in their places in three days. Then you can be free. And by then, I hope we can be good friends." He smiled at him.
Aron said nothing.
Eden searched through his head and thought of a better way to converse with a nerd like him. Afterwards, he said, "Oh! Yeah. I wanted you to help me with something. An assignment—I want you to give me some advice on it."
Aron simply stared at him and looked around. People were still staring at them.
"Well, it’s about an assignment..." Before he could finish his sentence, Aron got up on his feet and looked down at him.
"I have to go," he said as he instantly turned and walked off. Or rather, ran away.
Eden stared at him, watching him run. He blinked and looked around. "He’s just shy," he shook his head. "I won’t give up that easily."
And he didn’t.
When Aron was going through books in the library, he was shocked to bump into Eden following him closely from behind.
Shocked, he stared at him while asking in a low tone, "What are you doing here...?"
Eden smiled as he picked up a random book and flipped through it. "I want to be like you, so I’m following you to learn how you study and all," he smiled as he stared at him. "And also to ask for help with the assignment."
Fear gripped Aron’s face as he looked around. He certainly wasn’t having this, and soon took off again, running through the shelves.
Eden followed him from behind. "Wait for me, I have some questions!" He had forgotten to keep his voice down. And Eden had accidentally pushed down a shelf, which fell upon the others, scattering the shelves and books all over the place.
The two of them now stood in the open; all eyes were on them. People who were seriously there to study didn’t seem happy with them at all.
Eden stared at the fallen shelves with Aron, and then he simply stared at the rest with a smile as he said, "Well, will you look at that. They don’t look happy at all."
No one bothered telling them to shut up and keep their voices down. Instead, Aron and Eden found themselves standing in front of the library’s entrance door, and the door was slammed closed behind them.
They were kicked out.
