[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 51: Little Game They Play Together
When Marshal and the others finally found out about Arcane’s relationship with Julian, which was now based on their mutual feelings, he threw a party at his house.
"Cheers!"
They toasted each other, drinking together while eating snacks that Marshall had ordered especially for the five of them.
"I never thought that cold Archie would fall in love with his own contract husband!" said Ryan in a teasing tone.
"I didn’t expect that to happen either! It seems like my offer to you wasn’t in vain! Now you have a temporary job, a husband, and a life partner," said Marshall, putting his arm around his cousin’s shoulder.
Julian admitted that he himself didn’t expect it, and was happy that he accepted Marshal’s offer. It’s just that he hadn’t told his parents about it yet. Especially about the fact that he was officially married to Arcane.
"I’m worried my dad will have a heart attack when he finds out. How am I going to tell them?" asked Julian, a little confused, while drinking lemon iced tea.
"Don’t worry! Arcane just needs to show that he can take good care of you, I’m sure your parents will accept him!" Hans tried to give this advice because he himself had once gotten his girlfriend pregnant, and they were worried about her father’s reaction.
But he showed that he could take good care of his daughter, as well as their child, and would always be there for them. After that, he was given permission to get engaged to his girlfriend.
"Really? How old is your child?" Julian looked interested when he heard this because he didn’t know that one of them already had a child.
"She is now 3 years old. She is very active like her mother, even messing up the toys in the living room every day," he replied, shaking his head and sighing heavily while showing him the photo.
Even so, there was no anger or irritation in Hans’ words, only tenderness and affection at seeing his daughter healthy and cheerful.
"It must be wonderful to have such an active and cheerful child!"
Julian’s words made Arcane pause for a moment. His green eyes glanced at his husband. Did Julian want a child?
But how could that be? They were both men who couldn’t possibly have a child.
In reality, Julian just enjoyed being around innocent children. It was only Arcane who had misinterpreted his words.
At that moment, Marshal lit up and told Julian that his parents would surely accept Arcane.
"I’ll help you if you have trouble telling your parents. Besides, Arcane is also a good friend of mine, so I can tell them that I’ve known Arcane well all this time," said his cousin.
His uncle and aunt would surely believe him, and that would definitely help Julian’s relationship with Arcane.
Because they were bored, Ryan suggested playing Truth or Dare. He spun one of the empty bottles, and if it pointed at one of them, they had to choose between the two options.
The bottle finally spun, and it pointed at Marshal.
"Oh, I got it? Then for the first time, I’ll choose truth!"
"Boooo, that’s no fun!" they shouted in protest and jest.
But at the end, Marshal was given a question that he had to answer honestly.
"You said you and Julian have known each other since childhood, right? Did you ever like Julian not just as a cousin, but more than that?" asked Ryan.
Everyone immediately turned to Marshal, waiting for his answer. And he admitted that when he was little, he had liked Julian more than just a cousin, but for a reason.
"When I was little, I was 8 years old and Julian was 4. It wasn’t the first time I had met him, but when I was going to his house, I saw a beautiful girl with long hair wearing a mini dress."
He said that at first he didn’t really recognize the girl because she looked so cute. So Marshal played with her for a whole day, and only then realized that the girl was his cousin, Julian.
Julian’s face turned red when he heard the story. He didn’t really remember because it happened when he was 4 years old and his mother had dressed him up like a little girl because she wanted to have a daughter.
"I didn’t even realize it was Julian! I just found out that Aunt Megara had grown Julian’s hair long to make him look like a girl! That’s why I used to like him!"
"Did you wear girls’ clothes? Did that carry over into adulthood?" Arcane reflexively turned to his husband, who looked panicked, his face red with embarrassment.
"Of course not! I couldn’t possibly wear girls’ clothes as an adult. It was just my mother’s whim, and Marshal happened to come to our house!"
He asked Marshal not to say any more. Because according to Julian, it was the most embarrassing thing and he never wanted to tell anyone, but his cousin just couldn’t keep a secret like that.
They all laughed, imagining Julian still wearing a mini dress.
"Enough! Marshal was the one who got part, but why am I the one who has to feel embarrassed too?!" The green haired man protested angrily, his face pouting.
Arcane chuckled and ruffled Julian’s hair. "I don’t mind if you still want to try wearing a dress, just for me."
"NO WAY!" Julian pushed him away, feeling annoyed and embarrassed.
They continued the game and the bottle spun back in the other direction. Pointing at Hans, he received a Dare to down three glasses of drink at once. Arcane also chose a Dare to sing.
He was very good at math, cooking, and many other things. But it turned out he was very bad at singing.
Julian laughed at him instead, teasing him that he didn’t mind that Arcane couldn’t sing.
"Don’t worry. I’ll still love you even if your voice is terrible!" he said, laughing and patting his own knee.
Feeling annoyed, Arcane approached Julian’s ear and whispered softly so that only he could hear.
"My voice is terrible when it comes to singing. Because I prefer to hear you sing. Especially singing my name in a moan on the bed when I’m inside you."
Julian’s yellow eyes widened, and he immediately pushed Arcane’s face away from him. "You idiot! Don’t say such embarrassing things!"
He snorted angrily because Arcane had turned the tables on him again.
By 11:12 p.m., it was almost midnight. Only Julian had yet to receive a dare for the second time.
"Alright, Julian, since it’s your turn to get a dare, I’ll give you a challenge!" Ryan said enthusiastically.
"Then tell me now! What challenge will you give me, and I will definitely do it well," Julian said confidently, certain that he could do any challenge they gave him.
For a moment, the living room at Marshal’s house became very quiet, with only a sly smile on Ryan’s face, as if he had planned something.
This was enough to make Julian’s confidence waver and made Arcane a little wary of the dare that would be given to his husband.
"Julian Thorne, I give you a dare, which is...".

"... To wear a maid dress while sitting on Archie’s lap during the game."
