Bizarre Realm-Chapter 406 - 38: Prologue of the Dragons! Dragon Pantheon
The Nine-faced Dragon God Ayo has an aspect called the World Shaper Asgras, possessing the power of creation in the Aberon world.
Of course, this main god of the Dragon Pantheon is merely a ’Medium Divine Power’ deity.
However, the Dragon Pantheon’s strength cannot be categorized by the standards of other Divine Systems, as it includes numerous gods with Weak Divine Power, but if a fight breaks out, you’ll know whether they can crush you. The standard template for Divine Spirits can have additional grades of Divine Format attached according to Divine Power, but this is not the decisive factor, as some beings are inherently strong. So, even if their Divine Format level is low, in a real fight, you might not be able to defeat them.
The level of Divine Format is usually determined by factors such as the concept of Divine Position, the number of followers, the quality of faith, and the time of Divine Investiture. The Dragon Pantheon has inherently few followers, with its Power of Faith supported by pseudo-dragons, sub-dragons, Dragon Descendants, Mage Scales, and other creatures; the faith of True Dragons is quite a complex story.
There is an anecdote, which says a devout dragon offered treasure to the Five-Colored Dragon Queen Tiamat, and in the next altercation, Tiamat bragged to the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut, leaving him utterly enraged. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
The Aberon world is different from other Otherworlds, with magic holding an incredibly important place and extensively influencing society and every corner of industry. Powered by magic, towering castles reach into the sky across the Kovale continent, carriages driven by Elemental Power race through streets and alleys, bringing infinite convenience to people. Magic is the source of industrial development, the spark of inventions. There are communication methods akin to magic telephones, magic transportation tools similar to trains, with railways covering every major city, and as long as they conform to the rules of Magic Power and have sufficient financial support, Mages can realize all your ideas.
Comparatively to other Otherworlds, Aberon’s Magic Civilization is highly developed; Elemental Flying Ships and Lightning Trains are common, and blue-collar Mages provide cities with regular energy and various essentials using magic.
Yes.
The term ’blue-collar Mage’ applies to the Aberon world, where Mages are no longer aloof, and common people have the opportunity to become part of this ’blue-collar class.’ There, from autonomous farming machines to intelligent advanced Alchemy Constructs, Magic Power is everywhere.
Above the clouds.
Shawn’s silhouette pursues the meteorites falling from the sky.
He locked onto a meteorite closest in distance and saw a dragon egg almost devoid of color amidst the surrounding rocks, differing from other luminous dragon eggs; this one seemed dead, dull, and devoid of any radiance.
Yet there were dragon patterns on it, very dim dragon patterns, almost indistinguishable.
Dragon Patterns, as a peculiar form of power, are uncommon, primarily existing in the Aberon world, where there are also legendary Dragon Crystals, extremely rare and highly costly Curios that can help people harness Elemental Power.
Under the night sky, at least a thousand meteors fell to the earth, and Shawn didn’t know how many contained dragon eggs.
"The dragon egg’s diameter is approximately five meters."
Shawn saw clearly the shape of that dragon egg, its outer shell covered in dull dragon scales, faintly showing a trace of peculiar Flowing Light. Its diameter far exceeded that recorded in the books; if the inside was solid, the hatchling dragon’s head and tail combined could be at least ten meters long.
An ordinary hatchling dragon couldn’t possibly be this large!
Boom!
A muffled thud sounded.
The meteoroid enclosing the dragon egg crashed into a canyon, not far was the spreading Poison Gas Swamp. This commotion attracted creatures from dozens of kilometers around, some distorted animals fled, but some powerful Evil Objects were approaching.
Shawn had already lost track of that Undead Wizard named Sandor.
He chased a crimson dragon egg, feeling it resembled a Red Dragon’s egg, whose size was even larger than other dragon eggs. Among the Five-Colored Dragons, the Red Dragon is the strongest, and this crimson dragon egg drew many gazes.
Shawn disliked Red Dragons for being too arrogant; if there were Silver Dragons or Golden Dragons, he would pursue those instead.
Unfortunately, there were none nearby, he had to choose a dragon egg that seemed particularly unique.
A huge pit appeared ahead.
Shawn was probably the first to arrive, there were no other creatures around, only a massive dragon egg about five meters in diameter among the fractured shards of the meteoroid; its scales were dull gray-white, yet unlike a White Dragon’s egg, the scales appeared a little transparent, revealing life writhing and incubating within.
"What kind of Giant Dragon is this?"
Shawn dared not get too close, for this dragon egg emanated strong magical waves; he hadn’t seen a True Dragon before, but hatchling dragons definitely weren’t this strong, at least approaching the power of an adult dragon.
Space Giant Dragon, maybe?
It is said that the first batch of dragon eggs falling with meteors are born stronger and ultimately larger than mortal Giant Dragons, growing up to thousands of meters in length, capable of roaming directly in outer space. Historical records mention ancient giant dragons, a group of particularly large Five-Colored Dragons that ended up as primordial dragon mates of Tiamat, all mountainous colossi.
The fall of dragon eggs attracted numerous Evil Objects and Ancient Race clans; from the direction of the Poison Gas Swamp, a rustling sound could be heard.
