Chapter 202: Chapter 26: Slaying a Legendary! Attempting to Alter the Law! (Part 2)

The Lizardman Hunter at the back dragged a massive Multi-headed Snake Lizard weighing over half a ton, with two of its heads already chopped off and the last head pierced by a bunch of arrows.

This was a bountiful hunt.

The elite Lizardman hunters brought back a Multi-headed Snake Lizard, two mutated crocodiles, a pile of small swamp creatures, and two suspected stone-blind barbarians as prey.

Bloodthirster-Gos quickly heard the warning from the tribe Shaman. It didn’t know what the Swamp Spirit was, but the tribe’s survival until today was thanks to the old Shaman’s daily Divination. He never participated in hunting; his daily task was to divine fortunes.

"Sacrifice the barbarians to the Swamp Spirit."

Bloodthirster-Gos ordered his clansmen, maintaining the blood ritual was the tribe’s most important tradition because only then could descendants reproduce normally; otherwise, all hatchlings would be stillborn.

He pondered for a moment and said, "Have the hunters stay alert."

"The bloodline of the crocodiles is becoming restless lately; the warning from the Swamp Spirit might herald a new war."

After speaking, he reached for a large bowl of monster blood handed over by one of his mates and drank it greedily. His Power came from the mutation of flesh, and he craved the blood of Extraordinary creatures; drinking their blood filled him with strength.

Bloodthirster-Gos had never removed his armor. He instructed the tribe’s craftsmen to process the heads of the Snake Lizard and placed them before his door while he returned to his room to sleep soundly with his weapon.

Not far away.

Shawn’s silhouette was retreating outside, looking at that gigantic figure, muttering, "This guy’s almost like a half-dragon!"

"Not easy to deal with."

Swamp Lizardmen had the ’Poisonous Snake Blood’ talent; many things they could be immune to were highly toxic to humans.

The good news was that there weren’t many creatures here that could penetrate Invisibility; Shawn had already scoped out the enemy’s territory.

"It sleeps in the afternoon, just like me."

"Then a nighttime sneak attack would be unlikely; the best time to act would be afternoon."

Shawn landed in a safe, hidden spot, refreshed his Flying Skill and Invisibility Technique; here, he couldn’t move without Invisibility for even a moment, as the Lizardmen’s eyesight was exceptional, possessing Dark Vision.

He couldn’t even get too close because the enemy’s sense of smell was also keen, so Shawn had covered himself in the stench of the swamp before acting.

"Such a strong Legendary creature probably won’t die in one blow!"

Shawn already had a battle plan in mind, but he still needed to consider the escape route because his task wasn’t just to kill the Lizardman Leader; he also had to think of a way to escape. Standard Lizardman Hunters were equipped with bows and arrows, with a high hit rate; a careless move could have him shot to pieces.

"And that Shaman, living so close, is also troublesome."

"Seems the Shaman has healing abilities."

A day swiftly passed.

The next day, Shawn began to take action. Last night, he had quietly approached the Lizardman tribe without entering because the enemy’s leader had been patrolling within the tribe all night.

This Lizardman tribe’s strength was entirely supported by its leader alone.

The sunset gradually dimmed.

Shawn timed his actions to cast a full set of Spells on himself, relying on Flying Skill and Invisibility Technique, floating into the Lizardman tribe’s interior. From afar, he heard the snores of the Lizardman Leader. This guy only slept five hours a day, starting from three in the afternoon to about eight at night, then patrolled the entire Lizardman clan territory with the elite hunters until dawn, returning to the tribe, eating, and then starting a new day’s hunt.

He was highly revered by the other Lizardmen; once Shawn took action, all the elite hunters would desperately rush to help.

Gradually, the distance closed.

Suddenly, Shawn sensed the enemy’s snores paused for half a second, then returned to normal.

"It noticed me!"

Shawn realized this instantly; the strength of a Legendary Powerhouse was truly terrifying!

Even in a state of sleep, it maintained such high vigilance, able to listen through slight winds, whether through smell or other abilities, or perhaps dangerous intuition; when Shawn approached within about ten meters, Bloodthirster-Gos awoke.

But it pretended to remain asleep.

Inside the room.

The eyes of Bloodthirster-Gos slightly opened, icy bloodthirsty light glowing in his dark yellow eyes, still keeping his loud snores steady. Yet a strong arm slowly reached for the War Spear used as a pillow.

Ready at a moment’s notice!

Surviving in the cruel swamp, Bloodthirster-Gos had never been lazy for a single day. He knew he represented the tribe’s future; if he fell, the entire Blood Poison Clan would fracture. He had to hold on until the next generation of powerhouses matured to have a moment of respite.

In the Bizarre Realm, the thriving Blood Poison Clan walked on thin ice.

"Wanderer?"

"Did those fools not detect an enemy’s presence, or were they all dealt with by the enemy?"

"I don’t smell blood!"

"Is it a Legendary Powerhouse?" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

The silhouette of Bloodthirster-Gos erupted in an instant, a War Spear thrown out, easily piercing through the solid wall like a cannonball blasting out. As he flipped up, powerful hind limbs strong as a drakonid’s exploded with astounding might, shattering the ground with a diameter of about three meters.
