Bizarre Realm-Chapter 116 - 37: Dark Ceremony! Warrior! Till Death!
The entire city of Dorne was enshrouded in an aura of fear.
As if arising from some special resonance in the dark, the moon in the sky suddenly turned blood-red. Countless eldritch shadows squirmed in the dim corners, seeming like they were trying to break through the boundary of reality, descending into the real world amidst the deathly fear awakened by the offspring of the Moth Mother.
Order is the most crucial defense of the real world, yet this defense is gradually being torn apart with the arrival of those from the old days. Some monsters from the Spirit Realm Plane were drawn by the scent of fear and are now closing in.
Clang!
In the darkness behind Shawn, sparks suddenly exploded, revealing the figure of theDeceitful Assassin—Zellers. In the sparks from close-quarter weapon clash, a blurred silhouette was forced out. His attire resembled a libertine’s casual elegance, au fait with his movements, but his skills were extraordinary. Within five feet, on the assassin’s line of life and death, he could actually fight a Deceitful Assassin to a standstill.
"What a pity!"
The poet swung his hand in a rainstorm of thrusts to push back the Deceitful Assassin—Zellers, then his figure suddenly turned into a cloud and passed through the narrow gap behind him, disappearing into the building.
Gasification form.
The poet’s body transformed into a gaseous state, slipping through a micron-sized hole and seam, vanishing into the buildings below.
Shawn noticed one thing: the members of the Doomsday Circus were exceptionally strong, with abilities that were bizarre and eerie. Their capabilities far exceeded those of the Night Watchers in the real world, yet they bore more severe contamination, perpetually wavering on the brink of losing control like tightrope walkers.
A gentle breeze brushed past.
Unnoticed, Daisy appeared behind Shawn.
Clang!
Daisy’s eyes had transformed into eerie vertical pupils, with fine velvety fur sprouting on her delicate face, which wasn’t congruent with the size of her enormous, sharp claws. She swept them across, igniting sparks on contact with a glint of cold light lurking in the darkness. Daisy’s immense strength pushed back a blurred shadow: a semi-naked dancer cloaked in sheer fabric appeared. Her Hidden Strike was intercepted by Daisy.
The enemy’s target was Shawn.
At least two members of the Doomsday Circus attempted to ambush him, using unusually deceitful methods to seemingly close in out of thin air.
Someone had reinforced them with an Invisibility Spell.
Nearby, the dark night echoed with stallion whinnies.
A pitch-black nightmare horse flew across the sky, catching the descending silhouette of the half-naked dancer. Her toes lightly tapped the nightmare horse’s ridge, then she deftly flickered into the darkness like a butterfly dancing.
Bang!
A dull gunshot rang out from afar. The nightmare warhorse’s head exploded instantly, and the dancer’s figure rapidly disappeared, while the nightmare horse dissipated into a shadow on the spot.
The rumbling sound of footsteps approached.
Cracks surfaced on the distant ground.
At the battlefield’s corner, Jason Tangel had already vanquished dozens of half-human, half-moth monsters. He was like a frenzied killing machine, drenched in blood and unbeatable, with the Eye of Truth pulsating gently between his brows, appearing fully integrated with his flesh.
Jason glanced at the distant clock tower and suddenly let out a thunderous roar.
——Endless Fury!
Just ending his frenzy, he re-entered a more frenzied state.
A spinning heavy Flying Axe was thrown out, as though blood Giant Jason leaped dozens of meters, turning the axe into a sweeping bolt of lightning. Amidst thunderous noises, the axe smashed through the walls and beams of an entire house.
The Barbarian Path possesses the most powerful Power Attribute among all Transcendents. Jason can easily lift several tons of weight with his bare hands.
In the dust storm sweeping through the sky, one could see the poet’s embarrassingly fleeing silhouette.
The barbarian was tearing down houses; if he didn’t flee, he’d be buried alive.
"The Moth Mother’s offspring are awakening soon!"
An anxious voice rang out amongst those battling.
When Shawn turned his gaze toward the center of the battlefield, the misty area of poison, he indeed saw the massive white cocoon pulsating gently like a heart. It seemed to revive, with the aura of life surging within the cocoon. Regular attacks couldn’t pierce the solid scales; even spells left only black scorch marks. The Life Law from Moth Mother continually repaired the protective shell on the cocoon’s exterior. This warped Life Law exhibited almost pathological vitality.
"Grab the gun!"
Jason roared angrily; in the midair, silhouettes rapidly approached. They were fellow Night Watchers coming to aid.
The Wharf District’s direction.
The Son of Dagon had crawled ashore completely. It was even larger than the offspring of the Moth Mother, possessing two tendrils over a hundred meters long and more than a dozen tentacles tens of meters long surrounding its body. This monster was engulfing the entire Wharf District, intent on advancing toward the densely populated Old Town District.
If it reached the Old Town District, the casualties in Dorne City would be incalculable.
"Activate the Sealed Object!"
Within the poisonous mist 200 meters away, the advanced Sword Saint Rocky suddenly roared skyward. From his spine extended six sharp spider-like limbs, retaining the scent of the Lady of the House, along with her hatred. This warrior-turned-Sword Saint instantaneously transformed into a terrifying half-spider man. With a leap moving several dozen meters, amidst fierce wind noises, unbreakable sword light forced out a pathetic, diminutive gnome.
