The system's revelation that there was no map threw Lucas off, and for a second, he didn't even know how to react. Luckily, with today being the thirteenth day, there were still two days left until the Heart of Silver had formed completely. Lucas had intentionally decided to start looking for it starting today as he didn't know how far the location was. That decision of his now turned out to be very valuable.

"So how do I find it?" Lucas frowned, feeling an itch to beat the system. Sadly, it had no physical form.

The problem of finding the Heart of Silver was incredibly difficult. It could even be compared to the same difficulty as asking a chef to write out five hundred decimal numbers of Pi; you might as well just forget about it.

The reason why Lucas felt that finding the Heart of Silver on his own was difficult was because even the Cardoso family didn't seem to know that such a material existed. This was because finding a legendary material required a tremendous amount of luck. This was a material forged from the combination of a planet's world source with an element under the influence of the planet's fate. That being so, it wasn't something that could be found by scanning the entire planet using machines.

Chances were that the Cardoso family or, even a different force, might have found it but kept the information hidden —after all, this was a legendary material. But that would spell another concern for Lucas as he would have to find a way to get through their security, steal it, and escape.

'I just hope none of that has occurred. But it's a mission from the system, so the chance of it happening is more likely.' Lucas sighed while massaging his brows with both hands. He could feel a headache brewing even before he began the mission.

"Although the system cannot aid you directly, it has been judged that the current mission difficulty exceeds the usual. As such, a directional guide will be provided to the host for temporary usage."

"GPS?" Lucas muttered with a contemplating look.

Although it wasn't a map, a directional guide was better than nothing.

Ending the conversation there, Lucas went into the work-station to pack up a new set of items, before leaving behind a debit card with Melissa.

"Use this and get yourself whatever you want, whenever you want. If you need some more, you can go ask Vienna for it."

During the past thirteen days, Vienna had occasionally visited the shop and met with Melissa. At one point, Lucas' schedule was choked and he spent three days in the work-station, remodeling the Viper for better performance. During that period, Vienna had taken Melissa shopping and looked after her. Surprisingly, from there, the two got quite close together and Melissa began to refer to her as 'older sister Vi'.

"Okay."

Melissa nodded with a big smile. She was no longer the little kid from three months ago who could not associate with others or stayed up worried waiting for her older brother.

After sending a message to Vienna to notify her once more about his trip, Lucas left the shop and headed south. That was the direction the system's direction guide —which was just a green arrow visible to him on the interface— pointed towards.

Eastwards was the direction of Belfargos City. The Bailin province was located in the north, or to be specific, northeast. As for the south, it was the location of a desolate beast domain. Beyond that was another large city, Blue Springs City. It was unlikely for the Heart of Silver to be born in a city, so Lucas' destination would be the desolate beast domain. At the southeast, in an opportune region that bordered both the desolate beast domain and Belfargos City, was the Neon Summer province.

A desolate beasts domain was a large span of area occupied by desolate beasts of different levels. In simpler terms, it was a breeding ground for desolate beasts. Domains were generally classified based on the level of the strongest desolate beast present and the average level with the largest population. This classification used a similar nomenclature with the threat categorisation system used by the military of city-states. As such, there were five classes of desolate beasts domains: classes C, B, A, S, and X. Each desolate beast domain went in hand with the equivalent threat rank.

A class C desolate beast domain didn't hold much threat to a city-state. Such desolate beast domains were ruled by a sixth level Apertures Opening stage desolate beast with the average strength of desolate beasts being at the fourth level.

A class B desolate beast domain, similar to a class B threat, could threaten an entire district. There was at least one seventh or even eight level Apertures Opening stage desolate beast with the weakest being at the second level. The average level hovered between fourth and fifth.

A class A desolate beast domain was seen as a class A threat. It was a danger on the level of affecting multiple districts in a city-state at once. This was because there were a few eighth and ninth level desolate beasts here, and a slight possibility for even a tenth level desolate beast. The weakest desolate beast here was at the third level while the average was between the fifth and sixth.

Above were the classes S and X, both of which were used to refer to desolate beast domains and threats that could wipe out an entire city-state and multiple city-states at once respectively. When a city-state was facing such a threat, they would have to collaborate with their neighbours and even notify the Oklo Dynasty. Under such circumstances, even the city lord would participate in the city-state's defence.

On the other hand, in the case of a desolate beast domain, a domain classified under either of the two, would be heavily monitored by the closest city-state unless it was too far away. In some cases, a request for a crusade would be made to the Oklo Dynasty.

In this context, a crusade was a large scale war waged against desolate beasts in a domain with the sole intention of wiping them out.

The desolate beast domain that stood in between Trundel City and Blue Springs City was a class A domain called the Millennia Mountains. It was a large mountain range that covered a very wide area. Due to the incredible number of mountains in the range, it was given the name Millennia Mountains, meaning one thousand mountains [1]. However, in reality, there weren't really one thousand mountains within the mountain range; but the numbers did reach up to one hundred.

Usually, travellers or visitors going from Blue Springs City to Trundel City or vice versa, did so using light-rail trains. Road transport was next to impossible because of the massive risk associated with it. Even typical hover cars were also not an option. A class A domain had a few eight and ninth level desolate beasts with a small chance for a tenth level desolate beast. There were also a couple of avian desolate beast species that could match up to the top speed of a standard hover car. Only an idiot would want to travel through the region by land or using an average hover car.

On the other hand, light-rail trains were very fast and blitzed through the air, avoiding most aerial desolate beasts, so it was a considerably safe mode of transportation.

But there was a problem when Lucas thought about this. There was no stop in between Trundel City and Blue Springs City, as the entire region consisted of the Millennia Mountains. So, the light-rail train couldn't exactly transport Lucas over. To get to the mountains, he would have to do so on his own.

'Luckily, I have a lot of cash on hand.' Lucas thought as he headed towards a hover car dealership.

Roughly two weeks at the Versoa team had seen Lucas earn two weeks' worth of wages for three positions. Even though he wasn't a mini tycoon yet, Lucas' wallet was quite loaded. He could afford a hover car, although it would take a significant chunk out of his wallet.

"Welcome."

The receptionist at the front door greeted Lucas as he stepped through the entrance. However, after noticing that Lucas was not hyuman, the young lady's expression changed slightly but she quickly hid it.

Belfargos city-state wasn't as averse to the presence of humans as with the other city-states. There were quite a lot of humans here and the city-state had the second largest population of humans, just after Digress city-state. Most of these humans worked as assistants or took on the more menial roles in the city-state that hyumans refused to take on. Those with good looks applied for hostess or receptionist positions, while those who were physically stronger handled physical tasks. The ones who were more audacious took on dangerous tasks like acting as a porter for freelancers in the wild. Not every one could afford a spatial vault but having to carry so much luggage while battling was troublesome, hence the need for a porter.

In summary, Belfargos city-state offered a better life for humans, but it was at the cost of hard work since the cost of living was pretty high.

"I'm interested in getting a hover car. Can you take me around your showroom?"
