Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 732 - 616 This Is Unreliable! (First Update)
After the family finished lunch, everyone worried that Yi Luowa might be tired, so they urged her to rest. The two little ones refused to leave their mom’s side, and the four of them entered the large bedroom on the first floor specially prepared for her.
Yi Luowa took the two little ones onto the bed. Tong Airui watched as the three of them lazily lounged on the big bed and laughed before joining them.
"Giggle... so happy!" Sangyu clung to her mom’s arm with one hand and her dad’s arm with the other, giggling aloud.
Ziyan hugged his mom’s other arm, his little face pressed tightly against hers. "Mommy smells so good!"
Tong Airui slightly turned to his side, wrapping his arm around the three of them. "From now on, Mom won’t leave again. If you two behave, our family will always be this happy."
"Mm-hmm." The two little ones nodded obediently.
Yi Luowa glanced at her children and, smiling, lightly patted her son’s little bottom. "Ziyan, why don’t you come between Dad and Mom? That would make it even happier."
Ziyan climbed up, looked at his mom’s belly, then crawled from her feet to the middle between his mom and dad.
"If I’m good, Mom won’t leave." Ziyan laughed, giggling as he lay down.
"Mom isn’t leaving. Even if I do leave in the future, I’ll take you both with me. Now tell me, what have you learned at home while I’ve been away?"
Sangyu bit her tiny finger, grinning. "Being a little rascal~ giggle..."
Ziyan hurriedly covered his sister’s mouth. "Playing with the younger brothers and sisters."
Yi Luowa tilted her head, looking at her son. "Anything else?"
Ziyan released his sister. "Teasing YoYo and Nana."
Sangyu eagerly followed up her brother’s words. "Taking care of Grandpa, keeping Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma company."
When Yi Luowa seemed skeptical about what they were saying, Ziyan pouted his little lips. "We also learned how to miss Mom."
Tears instantly welled up in Yi Luowa’s eyes, and she pulled her son tightly into her embrace.
Tong Airui smiled wryly, "Little rascal, one sentence and you’ve made your mom cry again."
Sangyu sat up, stretched her tiny hand over her brother, and wiped her mom’s tears. "Mama, don’t cry."
Yi Luowa nodded with a smile. "Mom isn’t crying. Mom is happy. You two little smarties, so young and already able to say so much that warms Mom’s heart."
"They’re both ahead of others their age in everything. I don’t even know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing." Tong Airui sighed. "When I was their age, I don’t think I knew half of what they know now."
Yi Luowa sighed softly. "I always feel like being a bit ordinary is better, but it’s too late for them to be ordinary. I just hope the third one can be a bit duller."
"The third one?" Sangyu giggled. "Mama, is the baby sister called Third?"
Yi Luowa laughed as she answered, "We don’t know if it’s a brother or sister yet. For now, we’ll call them Third."
"Candy! Call them Candy!" Sangyu licked her lips. "So sweet!"
"Have you eaten candy?" Yi Luowa reached out, pried open Sangyu’s little mouth, and examined her teeth. "Your teeth seem fine... Ziyan, open your mouth and let Mom take a look too."
Ziyan opened his mouth wide for his mom to inspect.
Yi Luowa saw that both children’s teeth were all right and let out a breath of relief. "Who gave you candy? No more candy eating in the future, okay?"
Ziyan nervously glanced at his mom. "I can’t say."
"You don’t need to say; I already know who it was. It must’ve been your Aunt Eight!"
Ziyan and Sangyu exchanged a glance but stayed silent.
"That unreliable woman!" Yi Luowa huffed. "Let’s see how I deal with her later!"
Sangyu gazed at her mom with tearful eyes and said, "Aunt Eight misses Uncle Eight."
"And then?" Yi Luowa lovingly touched her little face. "Don’t cry. Swollen eyes won’t look pretty."
Sangyu sniffed. "She said eating candy makes her not miss him as much."
Ziyan nodded emphatically. "It’s true; eating candy makes you not miss him."
"But once the candy’s gone, you miss him again."
Yi Luowa looked up at Tong Airui. "Help Old Eight take some leave, even if it’s just after the baby’s born, so they can be together."
Tong Airui nodded. "I’ll call the principal in a bit."
"Families really shouldn’t be apart for long; it’s too hard to bear." Yi Luowa sighed. "Ziyan, Sangyu, now that Mom’s back, you don’t need to keep eating candy anymore, right?"
Sangyu pouted, unwillingly nodding.
Ziyan was quicker to nod and even laughed gleefully afterward.
Yi Luowa laughed and said, "Just like your dad, agreeing with your mouth but scheming something else in your heart."
Tong Airui immediately protested, "He’s clearly taking after you, how did it end up pinned on me?"
"Not like me—like you!"
"Like you!"
"Boo-hoo... Dad’s bullying me!" Yi Luowa buried her head against her son’s small chest and pretended to cry aloud.
