Billion Dollar Player-Chapter 29: Demon
Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Demon
....
As Raven stepped through the Portal, he felt a wave of surreal energy wash over him. The world, on the other side, was completely new and different.
The air felt even purer in his surroundings. For some reason, he could also see some small particles of light floating in the surroundings.
Raven took a deep breath and looked around, taking in the new environment he found himself in. He noticed that the landscape was vastly different. The trees in the distance seemed to glow in the soft light, and the grass was a vibrant shade of green.
He appeared to be in a forest where no other person was in sight. Because the large trees blocked his view, he couldn't see too far.
Curious about his stats, he opened his status screen.

Seeing his Status Screen, his attention first went to the Bloodline Specific Skills. Even though he hadn't seen his stats in a long time, he still more or less knew everything about his abilities.
It was only his new abilities that he received through his Bloodline that intrigued him even the least.
One by one, he read through the description of every new skill. Some of the skills were easy to understand without even reading the description, like Poison Immunity. However, it was the Voice of Gods that stunned him the most.

"Voice of gods? Curses of gods? Just what is this Bloodline?" Raven frowned, looking at the description of the skills. It was as if this Bloodline was specially created to go against the Divine Beings.
He finally understood why the owner of this Bloodline was the so-called Taboo.
For now, he stopped thinking about it and focused on his surroundings. He first had to get out of this place.
He looked at the sky above, noticing that it was a deep shade of blue with no sign of a cloud in sight. The air was crisp and refreshing, and he was filled with a sense of peace and tranquility he hadn't felt in a long time.
However, there was something strange about the sky! There wasn't just a sun. Instead, there was also a moon!
A bright sun hung on the left side, illuminating the surroundings. However, there was also a crimson moon on the right, which was shrouded in a bloody and demonic aura, that seemed to counter the pure aura of the moon.
As he stood there, taking in the conflicting scene above him, he realized that he was not alone. He could feel another presence. A figure was standing beside him, and he turned to see who it was.
Looking around, he noticed that it was a woman dressed in a black robe with a hood covering her face. She seemed to be gazing intently at the sky, taking in all that was happening. Without a word, she turned to him and extended her hand, motioning for him to follow her.
He hesitated momentarily, unsure if he should trust this mysterious woman. However, his curiosity overpowered his caution, and he followed her.
He still needed to find a way out of this forest, after all.
The woman led him through the trees and towards a small clearing, where she finally stopped and turned towards him once more.
In the center of the clearing was a strange object that he couldn't quite make out. The woman gestured towards it. The statue appeared roughly like a small doll that was floating in the air.
"You want me to take it?" Raven asked, frowning.
He didn't know who this woman was or what her intentions were. However, he had no intention of taking that weird doll, which gave him a bad feeling. 𝘣𝘦𝑑𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝘮
Instead, he was more focused on the woman, who clearly wasn't a Player.
Each Player that he came across in the Bloodline Trials had a unique aura around them, after all, which the woman didn't possess.
[Demon General of Puppetry has taken an interest in you. He's looking at you with greedy eyes...]
"Hmm?" It was the first time he had seen a notification like that.
He looked around, frowning. Who was the Demon General of Puppetry? Was it the woman next to him?
"I don't need that doll. I'll be taking my leave."
Raven took a few steps back. However, right then, the notification changed.
[Demon General of Puppetry is angry at your reaction]
"Hmm?" Raven frowned. A similar notification appeared again, which made him surprised since he hadn't seen such a thing before.
He couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with his Bloodline Skill. A Demon General was a high-ranking demon, after all.
