Chapter 593: Giant Elemental

Vlad could feel the weight of countless gazes locked onto him, but he did not care.

Thanks to the Leviathan War, his mind and battle awareness had reached a level that other warriors would need decades—if not centuries—to achieve. His instincts were razor-sharp, his mind utterly focused, filtering out anything irrelevant to the fight.

Distractions meant death.

Runic lines flared to life across his skin, pulsing with dark energy as he tightened his grip on his sword. His body flickered, his figure a blur as he surged forward, his weapon humming with power.

With a series of fluid, precise swings, he unleashed arcs of dark energy that sliced through the battlefield, tearing into the Elementals before him.

Each arc carried condensed Force generated by his sword, allowing his attack to cut deeper than ordinary strikes. The black slashes left deep, jagged wounds across the Elementals’ rocky forms, carving through hardened stone as though it were nothing more than flesh.

However, despite the devastating wounds, not a single Elemental fell.

A cold, mocking smile crept onto Decimus’ face as he observed Vlad’s attacks.

"Mediocre." That was the first word that came to mind. And he was not alone in that sentiment.

Among the other teams, many were visibly relaxed, losing interest, and their expectations were lowered. Compared to the devastation wrought by the other Depravitas, Vlad’s attacks seemed almost underwhelming.

But then, just as they were about to dismiss him—

Something unexpected happened.

The Elementals that had been marching forward, seemingly unfazed by their injuries, suddenly stopped.

Their massive, rocky forms began trembling violently. And then—Without any warning, the wounds across their bodies expanded, splitting open with horrifying speed.

Some of them were completely bisected, their upper bodies sliding off their lower halves before crumbling into dust.

"What!?" Decimus’ eyes widened in genuine shock. A flash of dread coursed through him, his mind racing as he realized that if he had exchanged blows with Vlad, the same fate could have befallen him.

The man from the Zanis Family was not the only one who adopted a solemn stance, as it was clear that the young man was not the leader of such a group, just out of luck. His power was truly monstrous.

And the battle was far from over.

As the Elementals crumbled, waves of energy surged toward Vlad, drawn into his Runic Set like a vortex. The Depravita of Wrath absorbed the incoming power, his body pulsating with raw energy as he channeled all of it into his sword.

His muscles tensed and bulged, veins of dark energy spreading across his arms as he infused the weapon with an overwhelming surge of Depravita Aura.

And then, he swung.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!"

A colossal explosion ripped across the battlefield as a monstrous arc of dark energy erupted from Vlad’s sword, cutting through everything in its path.

The impact sundered the battlefield for thousands of meters, obliterating every single Elemental in front of him.

The shockwave alone sent tremors through the ground, sending debris and dust flying into the sky.

If before, the onlookers had been impressed, they were now completely dumbfounded.

Not only was Vlad’s Runic Set capable of turning minor wounds into fatal injuries, but he could siphon the energy of his fallen foes and use it to amplify his own strength.

It was a terrifying ability—one that even Legends would envy.

Janus chuckled, turning to Agamenon with a smirk. "Cousin, you really found an interesting group. It seems Lady Luck favors you."

Agamenon simply nodded, his expression as calm as ever, but the truth was that even he was shocked beyond words.

’How had Vlad and his team grown so much stronger in less than a year?’ The scion of the Solaris Family could not help but ask himself that question.

Even among the Imperial elites, such growth was unheard of.

However, there was no time to dwell on it.

The mission came first.

The teams continued their advance, cutting through the Elementals like a scythe through wheat as they pushed forward toward the mountain fortress looming in the distance.

Despite Valeria, Scipius, and Cato working together, their forces were falling behind. The Imperial Prince’s team and the Depravitas were simply too fast.

And the trio knew that whoever reached the fortress first would have the greatest advantage. After all, the ones that reach the mountain first would have an easier time picking up treasures.

But there was nothing they could do.

Their warriors were strong—but they were nowhere near the Depravitas’ level.

It was not just raw strength—it was synergy.

The four Depravitas moved as one, their attacks perfectly synchronized, their killing speed far beyond anything the trio could match.

It was as if they shared a single mind. And in some ways, they did.

Their A.I. Chips were constantly exchanging real-time combat data, optimizing their attacks, analyzing the battlefield, and calculating the most efficient ways to eliminate threats.

Janus and Agamenon grinned as they saw their forces pulling ahead.

Their hearts pounded with excitement at the thought of what treasures awaited them inside the fortress.

However, just as they were minutes away from the fortress walls. The entire dimension trembled, and a massive chasm split open in the earth before them. From its depths, a monstrous figure emerged.

A Giant Elemental—nearly six hundred meters tall.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!"

Upon its emergence, the colossal creature released a surge of lightning so powerful that it dwarfed the combined energy of the previous Elementals.

This one was different. They could feel it—This Elemental was infused with the essence of the Laws.

Both Janus and Agamenon’s expressions darkened. Even if they could defeat it, it would take time, and time was not on their side. If they stopped here, the other teams would catch up.

Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do about it. Or at least that was what they thought until they saw Fafnir grab Ouroboros and Vlad, one in each hand, and hurl them toward the Giant Elemental.

Before they could even process what was happening, a storm of plasma rained from the sky. Jormungandr’s casting speed skyrocketed, unleashing dozens of plasma beams per second.
