Beneath the Red Dragon-Chapter 307 - 112: Intertwined Fates_3
White Dragon Camid didn’t pay attention to the villagers who displayed strange expressions, looking as if they’d narrowly escaped a disaster. He flicked his tail and flew high into the sky, heading towards the Dragon Nest.
The careless White Dragon Camid had no other thoughts; he recalled what Karon said about the excitement and wanted to return soon.
Meanwhile, two priests quietly concealed themselves within the crowd and departed, unaware that the enormous Copper Bell, hung in the center of the village on the wooden building—unable to be rung by anyone—was now causing a faint spatial ripple behind it.
A towering silhouette emerged from the twisted spatial wave: his horns pointed towards the sky, his Scale Armor strict, and his aura seemed to merge with the world, appearing as mere air to all creatures.
This figure quietly followed the departing pair, stepping onto the forest path like an invisible shadow, unseen and untouchable.
A physique gradually developing in the direction of Karon, Black Dragon Rosani descended from the sky, landing on the riverbank beside Shallow Water Village.
Upon landing, this massive Black Dragon didn’t first gaze at the pure maiden sacrificed but rather at the slaughtered offering treated as sacrificial livestock.
It was a beautifully colored black mare, with glossy fur resembling satin, now lying silently in a pool of blood, its radiant black coat gradually fading.
"Damn it, you people truly disgust the Dragons. Awakening Evil Dragon Blood is enough to anger me, and you even slaughtered such a beautiful mare. When I return, I will punish you so that your village can’t raise horses anymore!"
Black Dragon Rosani snorted two streams of black mist from his nostrils, irritably embracing the dead mare with his limbs, then soared into the sky, leaving bewildered villagers and two priests with puzzled expressions.
"Is that the Evil Dragon?"
"Yes, maybe!"
Boom,
Then descended Female Red Dragon Kleyna, an agitated mare with eyes filled with fury and hunger, her arrival’s gusts even blew several villagers off their feet.
"Who dares to awaken the Red Dragon’s Blood, you self-righteous fool," Great Mother Dragon Kleyna could no longer suppress her desire. The Dragon Blood summoned by the ritual must be satisfied to dissipate its influence—an irresistible urge on the path of this Female Red Dragon.
The surrounding villagers trembled in fright, intimidated by the Dragon Power into silence, only managing to tremblingly point at the two priests attempting to flee.
Huff,
Kleyna spread her wings, lightly leap and landed behind the two priests, then breathed Dragon Fire, burning them into charred remains, venting the overwhelming violence within her heart.
"You idiots, who let you summon the Giant Dragons!" The proud Red Dragon Kleyna scorned explaining. After venting some of her brutal impulse, she swallowed the cattle sacrificed by the villagers whole before flying back into the sky.
"Catch those two priests for me," White Dragon Gomot, upon descending to the ground, said first thing; he then devoured the villagers’ priest and watched as the villagers pinned down the priests.
"Any sect that lacks approval from the Giant Dragon Territory is a heretical cult; any ritual act unapproved by the territory is heretical worship."
White Dragon Gomot lifted his head high, asserting to the bewildered villagers his verdict, "Ignorance is innocent, but to make sure you remember today’s mistake, your village will be penalized to offer one liter of rice each as atonement!"
White Dragon Lords always contrasted a bit with other Giant Dragons’ tendencies.
Green Dragon Antajena was influenced most by the Evil Dragon Blood among all in the Dragon Group; her desires were beyond her will’s resistance.
Despairing, the Green Dragon hopelessly opened her maw towards the sacred maiden, surrounded by villagers’ cries and screams, her heart instantly plunged into the profound, dark Abyss.
If she satisfies the Dragon Blood within using this method, the Evil Dragon’s influence will grow stronger, making it harder for her to resist in the future.
She didn’t care if she ate humans; maybe Karon didn’t either; in the Greenfield Forest battlefield, Green Dragon often devoured those Elves.
But those were enemies, entirely different in significance.
Desperate, she suddenly envisioned Red Dragon’s image in her consciousness, calling out, "Save me, help me, Karon, my king, my brother, my master!"
"Very well, Antajena, you’ve made your choice. Those who save themselves are saved by others; at this moment, our fates are intertwined, born by each other’s side." A deep, familiar voice resonated in Green Dragon’s mind.
A seed radiating white light emerged within Green Dragon Antajena’s heart lake, quietly enveloping her meager will and dispelling the darkness.
Blue Dragon Doss and Blue Dragon Akzhi hovered side by side within the clouds, overlooking the ceremonial scene below.
The ritual summoned the two Blue Dragons, but well-practiced in order, they formed Chains of order using Power of Faith to fend off the boiling Dragon Blood’s influence.
"What now, Akzhi, do you go first, or do I go?" Blue Dragon Doss asked.
"Let me go; you’re smaller, easier to conceal. When I leave, follow those two priests discreetly, uproot their old lair. Daring to cause havoc in our territory, I’ll hang their heads on the walls and dry them for a thousand years!"
Blue Dragon Akzhi replied.
