Chapter 285 -11 Legendary Firearms: Wild Yak RS107
“Take him to see a doctor.”

After saying this, Li Yan looked down at Abaningma. With his current injuries, he wouldn’t be able to carry out tomorrow’s commission. He then jokingly thought to himself, “Long live the Medicine Buddha,” and then turned to leave.
“Stop.”
The man who had attempted to attack Li Yan with a whip kick, only to embarrass himself, growled lowly.
Li Yan looked up, taking in the man properly for the first time.
Hawk-nosed, with dull eyes and freckles on his face.
His eyes were red as he picked up a blood-stained dagger from the ground, stooping over with the blade’s point swinging towards Li Yan in a threatening manner.
Li Yan scoffed and said to the silent man with a pistol, “Do you think you can carry two people?”
Like an enraged bull, the man charged at Li Yan, the tungsten steel tactical dagger stabbing straight towards Li Yan’s chest.
Li Yan snatched up a high-stool and flung it his way.
Buzz~
The spinning special plastic blew in with the wind, hitting the man and was immediately repelled, but Li Yan swiftly followed!
Having exhausted his patience in the knife duel with Abaningma, he had no interest in another round.
Taking advantage of the thrown stool to obstruct the view, he charged forward. His flying right foot kicked out fiercely, sending the dagger flying, followed by a hawks flip, then he squatted down, lifted his foot, and spun around with a kick. His heel, like a heavy hammer swung full circle, crashed directly into the man’s neck.
The man was sent flying, his head hitting the counter and knocking over many bottles of alcohol.
Blood seeped between the man’s teeth as he struggled to get up, only to meet the gaze of Li Yan, who towered over him, looking down.
“…”
The man clenched his teeth and didn’t dare to move, but Li Yan sharply noticed that his neck bone, which had been displaced by his kick, had somehow healed itself.
Name: Liu Yisi
Third-tier soldier: Frankenstein (Salamander State)
Note: Developed by the special lab funded by Tanya Mining, named after the famous character from the British novelist Shelley’s work, the Frankenstein series potions could grant humans the strength of ants, the leaping power of fleas, the ability to breathe underwater like fish, or even the peculiar immortality of lighthouse jellyfish…
The range of enhancements covered by the genetically modified agents really was all-encompassing.
Li Yan thought to himself and was tempted to get a suitable genetic potion for himself from this fruit. Even this Frankenstein (Salamander State), in Li Yan’s view, wasn’t a bad choice.
He glanced down at Liu Yisi on the ground, then shifted his gaze to the face of the silent pistol man, and seeing that neither of them had anything more to say, he turned and walked towards Wei Dan, “All done, which way now?”
Wei Dan stood up, “Anything else?”
Li Yan rubbed his eyes, “No, that’s it.”
“Come with me then.”
Li Yan followed Wei Dan step by step. Just as they had barely taken a couple of steps, the man holding Abaningma’s arm suddenly spoke up: “The law of this era isn’t decided by duel. In a different setting, you wouldn’t have the capital to be so arrogant.”
Li Yan yawned loudly, paying him no mind, and continued deeper into the dimly lit room.
…
Wei Dan led Li Yan to the edge of the building, in front of a huge hole that had been broken through the wall.
Outside was the murky darkness of night, occasionally lit by various glowing radioactive flora and fauna, as a dry, cold wind whistled in through the holes.
Someone wheeled in a metal rack over ten meters long, displaying an array of hefty firearms, marked by a branding of a black yak tossing its horns and bellowing.
The first weapon to catch Li Yan’s eye was a large caliber sniper rifle with a rough design, pitch black all over, its barrel extending just over a meter, edges and angles hinting at a somber and wild nature.
Wei Dan’s calloused fingers grazed the rifle as he introduced it to Li Yan, “Just arrived, the new king of the Wild Yak Series, RS107, a semi-automatic sniper rifle that uses 30mm high-explosive armor-piercing rounds. It holds a magazine of five rounds, features a dual-chamber recoil mitigator, comes with a detachable spiked bipod, standard type-III accessory rails, and is equipped with Pompeii Armaments’ latest optical rangefinding aiming system…”
“That…,” Li Yan scratched his eyebrow, “can you simplify that?”
Wei Dan looked somewhat disdainfully at Li Yan, “This thing is designed to take on armored tanks, missile launchers, even low-flying fighters. It can easily penetrate 50mm of special steel plating within a two kilometer range. Many organizations are currently researching the combination of genetically modified soldiers and exoskeleton mechs to impact what they call the fifth-order soldiers…”
She sneered, “This gun can send those self-righteous brats to heaven.”
Li Yan’s gaze settled on the rifle.
[Wild Yak RS107 Anti-Material Sniper Rifle]
Quality: Legendary
With a range of two kilometers, it can fire a variety of rounds including grenades and armor-piercing shells. It is a fierce weapon with immense destructive power against armored units, capable of single-handedly taking down fourth-order Bear-style Tanks.
Requirement: 90% specialization in firearms
Note: Wild, fierce, no escape.
After reading, Li Yan instantly remembered the Black Buddha War Machine that had once left him no escape in the skies or on the ground, and he casually asked, “How much?”
“Base model, without additional accessories, sixty-eight thousand. Bullets are extra.”
Li Yan’s eyes twinkled, “Just out of curiosity, where do you guys from Kuang Zhuoma usually store these Black Yak series firearms for maintenance?”
Wei Dan gave Li Yan a glance, “That kind of joke is best not repeated.”
Li Yan laughed, shrugging his shoulders, “You’re the one teasing me with such expensive toys first.”
“The RS107 is the crowning achievement of the Black Yak Series, with long range, high precision, powerful impact, a variety of ammunition types, and its overall performance can be considered perfect. If you are willing to compromise on some of the performance features, we could lower the standard and I could recommend something else to you.”
Li Yan thought for a while. He didn’t really covet the RS107 sniper rifle. The reason was simple; a 90% specialization in firearms was nearly an impossible condition for him.
Specialization is easy to get started with; one could progress through it by consuming a few fruits. But to break through the peak and bottleneck, there was no shortcut, not even a reliable way to do it. Back then on the Renchen battlefield, Li Yan managed to boost his Ancient Martial Arts Specialization to 90%, and that was with insight and opportunity—things that come by chance, not by searching.
“Powerful, easy to handle, the rest doesn’t matter.”
Wei Dan nodded upon hearing this, sorted through the rack by number, and selected three guns for Li Yan.
“Try these three.”
A rifle, a shotgun, and an automatic light machine gun.
Wild Yak RS058, Winchester Model III, Wild Yak RSZ5.
After trying these three firearms, Li Yan could clearly feel that the guns produced by the Raine Brothers had a lot in common with those made by the renowned arms companies in his world. For instance, the so-called Wild Yak RSZ5 was almost exactly the same as the mg42 machine gun used by Nazi Germany, and Winchester didn’t even bother changing its name.
“How about it? Found anything to your liking?”
Li Yan fired a few shots into the Gobi plain outside the hole but still shook his head, “Doesn’t feel quite right.”
As he spoke, his eyes roamed the rack, A Fleeting Glimpse continually providing information until finally, Li Yan’s gaze paused.
He pointed, “How much for this gun?”
