Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 509: Aphrodite Became Guide
Zeus summoned Aphrodite to a quiet balcony overlooking the clouds of Olympus, far from listening ears.
She arrived in a whisper of perfume and light, her rose-gold gown flowing like liquid silk, her expression already composed, as if she knew why she had been called.
Zeus did not waste time.
"Aphrodite, you will get close to Sharky Valor."
Her lashes lowered for a heartbeat.
"You will charm him. Distract him. Learn his thoughts and intentions. I want to know whether he is merely searching for his child... or planning some other things."
Hearing the order, Aphrodite did not question? She did not protest. She did not even pretend surprise.
Instead, she smiled. "As you command, King of Olympus."
Because the moment Sharky Valor had stepped through the Gates of Olympus, something had shifted inside her.
A desire awoken inside her, a desire to conquer Sharky or get conquered by him.
She had watched him walk beside Hela, calm, controlled, untouchable, and for the first time in centuries, Aphrodite had felt... something different and unique.
Normally her seduction was effortless. Just her simple glance and laugh. Gods fell as easily as mortals. Her once glance was enough for even Gods to leave his wife, and fall in her arms.
But Sharky? He didn’t easily fall for her. He didn’t even glance at her. And that made her want him more than any conquest before.
Zeus studied her carefully. "You understand what I’m asking."
Aphrodite inclined her head. "Perfectly."
Even if Zeus had not commanded her, she would have still tried to charm and seduce Sharky. For her, the most handsome person will climb in her bed. Not sleep with her at least one time.
Then what benefits her, as Goddess of Love. For her, it was important that every handsome guy must sleep with her. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Under normal circumstances, Aphrodite would have simply used her magic and deception sneakly. And tried to charm Sharky in her bed.
But Zeus’s command had directly opened a door for, now she can openly seduce Sharky. It awakened her desire to bed Sharky.
She even started dreaming that Sharky’s hands gripping her waist... herself melting in his arms... his kiss consuming her... his divine dragon entering inside her.
Just thinking about it made her body heat up.
She licked her lips softly.
She wanted him.
Aphrodite smoothed her gown, steadying herself, trying to regain her composure.
Then she turned away, stepping back into the golden corridors of Olympus, her heart beating far faster than it ever should have.
---
Aphrodite appeared behind Sharky in a soft shimmer of rose-gold light, as silent as a breath.
Hela turned her head slightly, her expression unreadable, but she said nothing.
Aphrodite lowered her gaze with perfect grace, hands folded before her, every movement refined and deliberate.
Her voice flowed like warm honey.
"Lord Sharky... if you wish, I would be honored to personally show you the beauty of Olympus."
Sharky blinked, politely surprised by the sudden offer.
She continued gently, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Our gardens, our temples, our sky palaces... places only a chosen few are ever allowed to see."
A soft smile curved her lips, calm on the surface, trembling beneath. Her heart was racing. She had seduced gods, kings and heroes without ever feeling hesitation.
Yet now, standing this close, she felt a little nervous.
Sharky considered her words for a moment, then nodded calmly, unaware that his simple agreement had just ignited a storm in the heart of the Goddess of Love.
Aphrodite’s eyes brightened for the briefest instant. She stepped forward, leading the way, her lilac gown flowing like liquid silk, threaded with shifting gold patterns that caught the light. Each step left behind faint petals of glowing rose-light that faded into the air.
Her natural divine perfume drifted around them, soft, hypnotic, impossible to ignore.
Sharky remained composed, hands relaxed at his sides.
Hela walked beside him in silence, calm and observant, missing nothing.
Aphrodite’s pulse quickened. Focus, she reminded herself. She guided them toward the Gates of Olympus.
They were colossal, carved from celestial white marble veined with pure starlight. Twelve towering golden pillars rose skyward, each engraved with ancient symbols of the Olympian gods.
At Aphrodite’s touch, the gates parted without a sound. Beyond them, Olympus unfolded like an endless empire sculpted from heaven itself.
Floating islands drifted among the clouds, connected by bridges of golden light. Sunlight glittered like scattered diamonds. Clouds shaped like mythical beasts glided lazily through the sky. The air itself sparkled, clean and radiant.
Hela took it in with composed interest, her gaze steady and thoughtful.
Aphrodite stole another glance at Sharky.
His green eyes were calm, unreadable, reflecting the brilliance of Olympus without awe or fear.
And somehow... that steadiness made her heart skip all over again.
Aphrodite guided them forward, her steps so light it seemed the clouds themselves lifted her feet. She led them into the most beautiful garden of the gods, a place even Olympus spoke of in quiet reverence.
Ambrosia blossoms floated in the air like living stars, their petals drifting slowly before settling back onto vines of light.
Golden flowers that never wilted glowed softly, pulsing with divine warmth. Crystal trees rose in elegant spirals, their branches wrapped in nectar vines that shimmered like molten gold. Between them, rainbow turtles, ancient cloud-born creatures swam lazily through the sky as if the air were water.
Aphrodite gestured gracefully, her voice calm and reverent. "These gardens grow only under the breath of Zeus’s lightning and Hera’s divine blessing."
Hela nodded slightly, appreciating the order and quiet power of the place.
Sharky reached out and brushed a single floating petal with his fingertips. At his touch, the glow intensified, responding to his aura. Several nearby flowers brightened in sympathy, their light rippling outward.
Aphrodite noticed, and her breath caught for just a moment.
She led them onward onto a transparent, diamond-like pathway suspended in the air.
Beneath it flowed sky-canals of liquid starlight, slow and radiant, carrying elegant boats shaped like winged lions.
Their prows cut silently through the glowing currents as celestial birds soared overhead, trailing faint lines of light behind their wings.
Olympian citizens paused as they passed.
Some bowed respectfully. Others simply stared, unable to look away from Sharky.
Aphrodite leaned closer, lowering her voice to a whisper meant only for him.
"Olympus rarely welcomes outsiders," she said softly. "But you... you are the first who walks here."
Aphrodite brought them next to a gigantic hall of gold and white marble, vast and solemn, its ceiling rising so high it seemed to touch the heavens themselves.
Divine thrones lined the chamber in perfect symmetry, each carved with symbols of power and eternity. Enormous statues of Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, and Ares towered above like silent giants, their stone gazes watching all who entered.
The floor beneath their feet was a flawless mirror of pure light, reflecting every step as if the hall itself were alive.
From there, she guided them onward to the Moonlit Terrace of Selene. They crossed onto a floating platform of pale moonstone, smooth and cool beneath their feet.
Silver mist curled gently around them, drifting like a living veil. High above, Selene’s divine horses, four ethereal white steeds, ran freely across the sky, their hooves leaving trails of soft lunar glow.
The moonlight reflected off Sharky’s features, sharpening his calm expression and lending him an otherworldly presence. Aphrodite found herself staring longer than she meant to, her heart fluttering despite her discipline.
She realized with a quiet unease that she was slipping too deeply into her role.
Next, she led them to the Eternal Flame Temple, Hestia’s sanctuary and the most peaceful place in all of Olympus. At its center burned a glowing hearth, its flame steady and eternal, untouched by wind or time.
The air was filled with a warmth that soothed the soul rather than the body, a serenity that wrapped around them like an embrace. Aphrodite lowered her voice instinctively.
"This is the flame that will never die," she whispered. "A symbol of family and unity."
Sharky and Hela stood in silence, absorbing the quiet power of the place. Even Sigurd, resting in Hela’s arms, grew still, his small gaze fixed on the gentle fire.
Aphrodite watched Sharky again and felt a strange pull tighten in her chest. The realization unsettled her, she was meant to draw him in, yet she was the one being drawn.
Finally, she brought them to a wide balcony overlooking the entire god-realm. The view stole the breath from even the immortals.
Stars drifted closer than clouds, nebulas shimmered in sweeping colors, and the sun hovered at a perfect distance, guided along its path by Apollo’s unseen chariot. Olympus stretched endlessly below, radiant and majestic.
Aphrodite turned toward Sharky, her voice soft, almost reverent. "This... is Olympus’s heart."
Her eyes glowed faintly with longing as she took a step closer, the words lingering between them. But before she could say more, Hela moved subtly to Sharky’s side, her presence firm and unyielding, a quiet reminder of bond and claim.
Aphrodite paused and stepped back with practiced grace. Outwardly, she remained composed and polite, but inside her heart raced.
She had not abandoned her purpose but now, desire and duty were beginning to blur.
Unknown to Aphrodite, while Sharky calmly toured Olympus, his Luminara-sense was already active. It spread quietly, woven into his presence like a second heartbeat, scanning everything without disturbing the divine flow.
Light-based perception brushed across temples, halls, gardens, and sky-paths, searching for any trace of the Serpent of Ruin or even the faintest remnant of Astrid’s aura.
But he found nothing. Not even a little bit of residue.
Aphrodite was just finishing her explanation about the heart of Olympus when soft footsteps echoed behind them.
Two goddesses approached.
The first was Demeter, Goddess of Harvest. Her long green hair was braided with strands of golden wheat, and her deep earth-brown eyes held the calm authority of fertile worlds. Her gown was woven from living vines and flowers that subtly shifted with her breath, and she walked barefoot, radiating a gentle warmth like spring soil after rain.
Beside her was Angelica, Goddess of Heavenly Winds. Silver-white hair flowed behind her like drifting clouds, and her sky-blue slit dress shimmered like the morning horizon. Faint wings of light rested behind her back, delicate yet sharp, and her eyes, though angelic, held a piercing intensity.
Both goddesses froze the instant they saw Sharky clearly.
Their eyes widened, their breaths hitched and a faint blush crept across their cheeks.
Even Hela noticed the flicker of admiration that passed through them.
So did Aphrodite.
Her smile tightened, almost imperceptibly.
Angelica spoke first, her voice soft and melodic, but edged with jealousy.
"Handsome one... why are you letting her guide you?" She tilted her head slightly toward Aphrodite. "Zeus must be truly desperate to send the Olympus whore as your escort."
Aphrodite’s eyes widened for a fraction of a second, then burned with fury.
Demeter laughed lightly, resting a graceful hand on her hip. "We could show you Olympus ourselves. At least with us, you wouldn’t be guided by someone who changes lovers every century."
Aphrodite’s face flushed red, anger flaring like wildfire. Her golden hair bristled as if charged with divine heat.
"Shut your filthy mouths. A farm goddess and a sky doll have no right to speak to me. You’re jealous because Zeus chose me."
Angelica smirked coolly. "He chose you because seduction is the only thing you’re good at."
Demeter added sweetly, her tone deceptively calm, "We still have dignity."
Aphrodite took a sharp step forward, but before they said anything.
A divine whisper echoed in Angelica and Demeter’s ears. It was Zeus’s command.
"Do not interfere with Aphrodite. Leave immediately."
Their expressions stiffened. They understood at once.
Angelica bit her lip, frustration flashing in her eyes. Demeter clenched her fist once, then relaxed it.
Both turned toward Sharky and bowed slightly.
Demeter spoke softly, unable to hide the admiration in her voice, "Enjoy Olympus... Sharky."
Angelica gave him one last shy glance, her gaze lingering longer than intended.
Then both goddesses turned away, disappearing into the crystal corridors, irritation and resentment carefully masked, especially toward Aphrodite.
Aphrodite exhaled slowly, regaining her composure, though her heart still raced.
