Edith still wanted to kiss her lover because lately they rarely communicate except regarding the children. After she told her lover the truth, she admitted that she was very relieved now because there was nothing to hide anymore. Even though several minutes had passed, she didn’t want to let go of her lips that were already very addicted to tasting her lover’s sweet lips. His eyebrows lowered for a moment, noticing the bags under his lover’s eyes were quite visible, but he’d been keeping his mouth shut to maintain his confidence. "Me too. I can’t sleep well because I can’t cuddle with you."

Edith slapped her forehead for a moment, quickly getting up and grabbing her phone from the bedside table. "I need to call Renata first to ask her to help me get the kids here."

Callum immediately restrained his lover’s tiny fingers. "There’s no need to bother asking for his help. Besides, aren’t you going home tomorrow so Cliff won’t suspect anything?"

"But, is it okay if I leave you again?"

"After hearing your story, I’ll go along with your plan for the good of all of us. I’ll let you stay in your apartment temporarily until your wedding to Cliff."

A sweet smile returned to her beautiful face. "Okay, I’ll call Renata to stay at my apartment for a while. I’ll sleep with you today."

It didn’t take long for Edith to communicate with her assistant, and now she could sleep with Callum to her heart’s content. It had been so long since she’d felt Callum’s warmth, which had always been so addictive that she felt so reluctant to wake up. The next day, Edith woke up first to cook breakfast. However, when she touched her lover’s forehead, it felt hot. She began to panic but remained calm so as not to wake him, who was still sleeping.

"Edith, I want us to cook breakfast together. Don’t wake up alone."
