Chapter 55: Chapter 55: Attending School Event

A few days later...

Eliana and Erdin eagerly await this special occasion every year. Regardless of school, they always hold a family day during the holidays. This year, they can finally enjoy having a full family. They hope their parents’ relationship will continue like this so they won’t have to envy other children who have their parents present every family day.

Before leaving for school, the little family prepared themselves at home. Eliana and Erdin were already dressed in casual clothes designed by their mother. Edith had deliberately designed clothes with similar colors for her twins to indirectly show everyone at school that Eliana and Erdin were twins.

"Wow, you guys look so good in the clothes I designed!" Edith praised, amazed at her twins’ adorable appearance.

"Mom, the dress is so beautiful! Can I wear it every day?" Eliana jumped up and down, twirling around in her casual dress.

"You can’t wear it every day, but you can wear it often. I will definitely make more beautiful clothes for you."

Erdin looked down shyly at the clothes he was wearing, which were no less beautiful than the ones his father had bought him. "Can you make me some clothes too, Mom?"

"Of course, my son. Because your father and I have already made a prior agreement. I am your father’s personal designer."

Meanwhile, Callum smiled brightly at his girlfriend’s enthusiastic words about their agreement. He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.

"If I hadn’t made you my personal designer, I’m sure our relationship wouldn’t be like this now."

"Callum, can you just cuddle me later before sleep? I’m embarrassed right now."

"I actually liked the outfit concept you suggested to me earlier. Even though I’m not wearing your design right now, our outfits are similar in color." His lips pressed against her lover’s ear. "Could it be that you actually want to show off our relationship at school?"

Edith nodded. "Although I don’t want to say it out loud, I want our family to look united."

"At first, I doubted you would do it. I didn’t think you’d hide our relationship anymore this time."

"If I were to act rashly and violate our contract, I am ready to accept the consequences."

Erdin moved his father’s shirt sleeve with a pleading look. "Dad, can I hug you? You’ve been hugging mommy too much."

Edith burst out laughing at her son’s behavior, which was so much like his father’s—very possessive. She hadn’t imagined her son would be jealous of his father being hugged all the time.

Eventually, Callum broke the hug, allowing his son to embrace the mother happily. He was actually jealous of his son being carried by his girlfriend.

"If only my body was as small as Erdin, I would be able to be carried by you too!"

"If you’re too small, I won’t be able to carry you. Besides, I like men with strong bodies."

"So, do you really like actors or athletes who have muscular bodies?"

"Of course. I’ve been in contact with them a lot lately because they’re always being my models on every fashion week event."

Callum flicked his shirt collar nimbly. He was once again consumed by jealousy when he heard his girlfriend liked another man. Luckily, she was no longer interested in Cliff.

"Looks like I’ll have to be your model once in a while so your eyes don’t fall on other men!"

"You can’t be a model because you are the CEO of King’s Hotel. Your reputation will plummet."

"I don’t care. I don’t like hearing you like another man."

Edith could only roll her eyes at her possessive husband. "By the way, how about we go now? It looks like Patrick’s been here a while to pick us up."

"Are you jealous, Callum? You’re not usually in such a rush to leave."

Callum lifted his chin arrogantly. "Yes, I admit I was jealous. So, when I get home, be prepared to punish you!"

For the first time, the family went to school together, accompanied by Patrick, who served as their personal driver on holidays. Patrick was also very relieved to see this small family so harmonious after five years of separation. Moreover, he still harbored regrets because he was also involved in the family’s accident. He felt he no longer had the right to be Callum’s personal assistant, but Callum still considered him the person he trusted most.

"Thank God, I can see you two together again," Patrick said, focusing on the windshield.

Callum gripped his lover’s left hand tightly. "This time, I won’t let her wander off alone. You’re happy to see my family reunited."

"Moreover, your daughter has been very spoiled all this time."

"Uncle! I’m not spoiled!" Eliana protested, pursing her lips.

Edith laughed awkwardly, patting her little daughter’s head. "My daughter, don’t yell at Uncle Patrick."

"Even though you will still be acting later, I really support your relationship looking like a harmonious family later."

"Therefore, you also have to help me so that this problem can be resolved quickly."

Edith snapped her fingers. "Actually, we don’t need Patrick alone to help us. My assistant can help us too."

"That woman?" Patrick laughed awkwardly, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "She already annoyed me last time."

"What did he do to you?"

"Anyway, this is the first time I’ve had to deal with such a troublesome woman!"

"Even though you’ve actually met since five years ago?"

"Actually, our relationship wasn’t always close. She and I always had different opinions. But after hearing the bad news from you, she stopped communicating with me."

Callum rested his chin on his hand. "That’s so strange. But when you think about it, you two are actually a good match."

Patrick’s eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. "No way! If we were compatible, that woman wouldn’t have run away from me five years ago."

Upon arriving at school, the small family entered the already crowded school gates. This time, Edith and Callum decided to play their respective roles, holding their children’s hands. However, despite their pretense, someone was actually watching them from a distance. The person was wearing protective clothing and photographing the small family’s every move.
