Becoming God Of A Dystopian World-Chapter 194: Mite's Blow
"Humph."
"Senior, aren't you being too arrogant?"
Zu Pan asked Mite but he found Mite looking somewhere else.
Mite wasn't listening to Zu Pan, instead, his eyes were focused on the side where the disciples who had qualified were standing.
Mite waved his hands towards them which caused them to be confused except one of them.
'Nod.'
Zhao Luo nodded with a smile on his face as he looked at Mite who was waving his hand at him.
"Good luck."
Zhao Luo said in just a loud enough voice that it reached both Zu Pan and Mite.
Both smiled and looked at each other.
"That genius is cheering for me. Hoho."
Zu Pan mumbled while thinking that Zhao Luo had addressed him while that was for Mite.
Zu Pan moved towards Mite with a smirk on his face as he brought out his long sword.
On the other hand, Mite also took out his sword, ready to show his moves to everyone.
Mite glanced at Zhao Luo with a look tha said,
"Watch Me", before turning his focus on Zu Pan.
'I hope others are doing well too.'
Zhao Luo thought of the others as their image popped up in his mind when he was leaving the trainee hall.
'All of them were there.'
He remembered Yan, Mo lee, Su Shi, Hong Ling, and Wei Bin.
'Except him.'
Zhao Luo remembered Wu Yang at the end while wondering when he would get the chance to meet him.
Then his eyes turned towards the spectator's seats where the Royal Feng family was seated.
Zhao Luo's eyes landed on Feng Mei.
He couldn't hide the likeness that he had towards the little queen as his eyes looked like they were shining and coincidentally Feng Mei was also looking at Zhao Luo.
'Brother.'
Feng Mei slowly opened her mouth but her voice didn't come out as her lips moved to complete the word.
'He is too far.'
She thought while looking at Zhao Luo.
But to her surprise, Zhao Luo reacted with a big smile showing that he could read what she was saying, by reading the movements of her lips.
'I missed you brother.'
Feng Mei completed her message and Zhao Luo nodded twice.
The first nod was to show that the feeling was mutual.
The second nod was to tell her that he will come to her soon.
While the two shared their thoughts through action, Feng Mei's grandfather who was sitting beside her was a little disturbed.
'He knows my little doll too.'
Her grandfather, Feng Xiaoya couldn't help but think so.
He had already seen his grandson, Feng Ma interacting with Zhao Luo throughout the Open Battle, so it was obvious that they both were already related somehow, but now seeing Zhao Luo exchanging gestures with his granddaughter who was also the family leader, confused him a little.
'How does a level eight 'VIII' outer disciple knows little doll?'
Feng Xiaoya questioned in his mind but he didn't disturb Feng Mei as it was a matter of junior generation.
'Whatever.'
He thought as he turned his eyes towards the disciples who were going to collide.
'Clang~'
Senior Mite blocked the sword of Zi Pan with his big sword.
Zhao Luo's attention was quickly drawn to the fight as the metalling ring entered his ears.
"Oh, he is using that sword."
Zhao Luo said as he recalled the sword in Mite's hands.
The sword was one of the swords that Mite had used in his fight against Zhao Luo.
'Clang.'
'Clang....'
With the broad sword in his hand, Mite kept on blocking Zu Pan's sword.
"My turn. Take one of mine too."
Mite said right after Zu Pan had finished with his last move.
Now it was his turn to go on the offensive.
Mite did a full movement of his arm as he pulled it back while dragging his broad sword on the stage.
Right after dragging it back in a swift manner, he lifted it straight up with the thick tip of his sword pointing at the clouds, and then in an instant, he brought it down on Zu Pan.
Zu Pan moved the blunt side of the sword and brought it in the way of Mite's giant sword.
Crack!
'Slash.'
"Agh."
Without any resistance, Zu Pan's sword was destroyed as it couldn't even slow down Mite's sword at all, not even by a bit and a short yet painful scream left his mouth.
The tip of Mite's sword slightly grazed past Zu Pan's body, causing his robe to be ripped apart from that area.
But even that short contact of his insanely fast and heavy sword move was enough for Zu Pan to get a big sword wound there as his skin was separated and a straight bloody line appeared there, that went down from his chest towards the end of his abdomen.
'Phshhhh.'
Blood gushed out from his wound and he jumped back.
"Just give up."
Mite's voice entered his ears and his sword trembled along with his arm.
'I lost in one blow?'
Zu Pan still couldn't believe what had happened an instant ago.
But looking down at his blood that was slowly dying his robe red he did not doubt that it was indeed real.
"I accept my defeat!"
Zu Pan slowly raised his arms after storing his sword and declared his loss.
"Good guy."
Mite praised him as he had seen many tenacious dogs who would have kept on fighting even after losing against an attack collision so badly.
'Not everyone can be like him.'
Mite glanced at Zhao Luo for an instant while thinking about the stubborn nature of Zhao Luo.
"Impressive."
Zhao Luo praised Mite's blow as it showed how much he had improved in just a week or two.
Just like that, the first challenge had ended as a failure as Mite had won while showing a devastating difference thus the pressure on some of the qualified disciples was doubled.
"He was just the 88th disciple and yet so powerful."
Most of the disciples who were standing behind Zhao Luo thought while looking at glancing at Mite's receding back and the tragic look Zu Pan's face who was being treated by the junior elder.
