Becoming a Deity from Planting the Bodhi Tree-Chapter 1298 - 459: Tiger’s Roar in the Mountain Forest, Pearl and Jade in Hand (Part 3)
Ji Jingqiu nodded, watching the Sword Master's clone dissipate into the heavens and earth, then proceeded in silence.
Xu followed closely behind, the two of them moving forward together, finally carving a Heaven-Reaching Road, arriving at the foot of the mountain, looking up to see the inverted Wuwang Mountain.
Both of them simultaneously realized a part of the mountain was missing.
Seeing this, Ji Jingqiu turned back to look.
In his eyes at this moment, the Path of Returning to Truth was completely visible, like an irregular missing jewel that perfectly corresponded to the missing part of Wuwang Mountain.
"What a trick," Xu murmured to himself, "We've made it this far, yet the enemy's real body hasn't appeared, and we've already suffered almost total losses. I wonder how You broke into this place long ago and forcibly seized a fragment."
Ji Jingqiu stood at the base of the mountain, seeing the true form of Wuwang clearly for the second time, the first being in the Nether Sea; it was the same inverted mountain range.
Wuwang and the Nether Sea must be connected.
Looking at it now, could Wuwang's true form be a crucial spot in the place of Returning to Truth?!
Ji Jingqiu slowly closed his eyes.
Even though the Heaven and Earth Dao suppressed him, he still forcibly connected with the sense of the Inner World, his Spirit Light shining like a rising red sun.
"What is Taoist Friend doing?" Xu asked with interest, having developed a subtle curiosity for this World Venerable throughout their journey, even more than the place of Returning to Truth itself.
Ji Jingqiu still didn't respond, his mind like a blade sweeping across, as if to create a new world, ignoring potential harm to himself, and finally breaking through the barrier with the Inner World!
In an instant, the Infinite Wisdom Light smashed through layers of obstructions, lighting up the world, its Dao Light piercing through all directions!
He suddenly opened his eyes and looked up.
Above Wuwang, it was no longer the mountain peak, but a Heavenly Dome higher than the peak, where vague, indistinct outlines of figures appeared, looking down, their gaze piercing the endless Void, cold and distant.
Xu squinted his eyes and suddenly laughed, "It seems there is indeed a need to visit the place of Returning to Truth."
After connecting with the Inner Realm, Ji Jingqiu temporarily ignored the two guys who could only squawk temporarily; his Spirit's clone manifested a Pure Land, his gaze locking on Wuwang Mountain, long irrigated by the Bitter Sea.
As he attempted to see if he could take the opportunity to complete this visualization mountain, he unexpectedly noticed a figure, no longer the one from years past, appearing in the majestic mountains, traversing silently, yet seemingly in harmony with the Mountain Formation, silently, inexplicably making one feel as if a King was surveying his land.
All Spirits held their voices, ghosts and gods shunned.
Meanwhile, Xu, who had been observing Ji Jingqiu and the upside-down mountain range above, suddenly looked up.
"Roar!!!"
The distant mountains echoed, the clouds surged.
A roar, as if emerging from a deep valley, reverberated through the mountains and ravines, carrying an unmatched fierce power, overpowering the world.
Suddenly, across the long river, the heaven and earth erupted with a thunderous sound. Everything seemed to lose its foundational bindings, its underlying rules pried open, the world flipping, transforming into a state of Great Freedom, rising slowly, forming a jewel, soaring over the river, flying towards this place as if to complete the missing outline of the mountain.
Ji Jingqiu reached out to intercept it, yet he was stunned, unable to discern whether it was the Inner Realm or the outer manifestation.
"Congratulations, Taoist Friend, on acquiring a wondrous treasure; however, it also comes with enormous Karma," Xu said with deep meaning, "Upon returning to this world, you must be cautious, for in the Sea of Realms, there may not be a lack of enemy 'lackeys' and 'spies'."
Ji Jingqiu nodded.
"Unfortunately, we've reached the foot of the mountain but lack the ability to continue climbing."
Xu regretfully glanced at the Wuwang Mountain above, the path ahead already blocked, making further progress unrealistic.
"Upon returning, I will persuade the other Ancestors to break into the place of Returning to Truth and explore further."
Suddenly, Xu shook his head,
"Unfortunately, their trust in me is too low; they refuse to entrust their memories to me to bring back, which would save quite a bit of trouble."
"Fortunately, despite everything, I still prepared a gift for each of them."
Ji Jingqiu couldn't help but take another look at this person.
Among the Ancestors, this one was also quite unique, the other Ancestor Master-level figures were clearly very wary and cautious of him, an emotion obviously abnormal, leaving one to wonder what history might have led the Ancestor Masters to be so wary.
As the Path of Returning to Truth turned into a jewel falling into Ji Jingqiu's hand, this world gradually shattered like an illusion, terrifying dark cracks spread throughout the heaven and earth.
Xu glanced again at the "outlines" standing in the sky, his smile cold and biting.
"World Venerable Taoist Friend, I shall take my leave first; if there is an opportunity in the future, do visit the Void Realm, I'll leave a gift for you there."
Finally, Xu cast a deep look at Ji Jingqiu, disappearing from this world, form and trace unseen, his methods enigmatic.
Even Ji Jingqiu did not realize how this person left this realm.
From the other's previous words, it was clear that this was not a case of a clone's fall, but rather he had confidence in leaving here, along with intact memories.
Ji Jingqiu lightly exhaled, the world is never short of extraordinary people.
He looked up once more at the Wuwang Mountain above, his gaze blurred, was it a coincidence or something else, was the tiger roar indeed the Fatty Hu?
The visualization mountain of the Inner World also faintly exceeded his control, standing alone in the rain of the Bitter Sea, beyond his command.
He attempted to summon back Fatty Hu, but there was never a response; along with it, the Formless Wind had vanished as well.
Both were his visualization manifestations, theoretically also his spirit's derivatives. If such an anomaly had occurred, there was only one possibility, they carried some kind of Dao rule of the Bitter Sea?
