Beastmen Love-Chapter 225: Good Possessiveness

Astri was watching the training, and after some time watching, she decided to go to the bathroom. When she stood up, all of her family looked at her immediately, alert.

"Where are you going?" They asked in unison.

"Bathroom." She answers in a calm voice as to keep them calm, too.

They’re not letting her out of their eyes. Even when she’s with the children, some of her spouses are always watching from a distance.

They look at each other as if deciding who should go with her.

"I’ll take you." Bono says first and walks in her direction.

"All right. If that will make you feel better. But no one watches me emptying myself. That’s too much even for spouses." She says, and walks away.

He smiles. In some way she called him her spouse and that made him happy. He follows her to the bathroom.

"Did you imagine you would travel the world like this? Meeting other cultures and lifestyles?" She asks Bono.

"Well, before meeting you I never imagined and never cared. But after meeting I could imagine myself traveling the world and learning different perspectives." He answers.

"It’s good, isn’t it? This is called globalization. It is when people from different places of the world exchange or trade goods, cultures, technologies. We learn from each other things to help us grow. Aquaterra are developed in technologies. You’re a people with stronger war force. Tsukihana, this realm, is more evolved spiritually and economically. Each one has their unique characteristics that if they exchange this knowledge, the world would grow." Astri explains.

"I see.. It makes sense. Will you be the one to make this globalization?" He asks.

"Not exactly. I’m just an image. That depends on the people to want to grow." She answers.

"But you’re the one who carries the knowledge of all realms."

"That doesn’t mean people are ready for having this knowledge. If they look after it actively, I will gladly help. But if not, I can only show a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s their choice to go see what is outside the tunnel."

"It makes sense.. That’s what you did to most of us. You’ve let us get out of the cave by ourselves." He says.

They arrive at her bedroom. In that realm, they already knew that hygiene is important, so they built a latrine inside the bathroom and inside it there’s earth and sand. When she was finished, she walks outside and listens Keiko talking to Bono.

"What are you, darling? I never saw a male so big and strong." Keiko asks, with a sweet smile and pulling her hair back to expose her collarbone and cleavage.

"A tyrannosaur." Bono answers without looking at her.

"I never saw any.. Are you a kind of dragon?"

"No. A different lizard."

"Are you that female’s spouse?" She asks, with disdain.

"Not entirely. But my heart is hers." He answers, still not looking at Keiko.

"Why do you want her as your spouse? Apparently she has favorites already. Until you have your heirs you might not be even alive anymore."

He sneers.

"Are you saying that you would give me heirs first? That is your offer?" He asks.

"Yes. How many marks do you have?"

"Why do you want to know? Is that a problem?"

"Of course not. I can sense you have more marks than even the strongest Mizuryuss." She smiles.

She thinks he’s into her for making questions, so she got closer and touched his chest with the tip of her fingers.

"10 marks?" She asks, curious.

"18." He answers, feeling the bile coming up, but he’s waiting for the right time to put Keiko in her place.

"Wow.. I was right, then. Even lord Renzai doesn’t have as many marks." She smiles, excited.

She bites her lips to call his attention and make him want to desire her.

"As I heard. When you accept to live here, you must prioritize giving heirs to the Mizuryuus." He raises one of his eyebrows, questioning.

"Well... They never know if we’re favoring them or not."

He chuckles.

"So you lie to them." He assumes.

"I already gave them two heirs. I believe they would agree with giving heirs to other spouses." She says, getting even closer.

"Then why lie in the first place?" He asks her, and she doesn’t know how to answer. "If you lie to them. How can I trust you not to don’t lie to me?"

"W-well.." She stutters, being hit right at the core.

"Besides. I’m looking after love. And not only heirs. Astri gives me love even before mating with me. And she never lied to me. I would never leave her for someone who only wants me as a souvenir." Bono answers, pushing Keiko away from him slowly.

Even though he doesn’t respect her, he’s not a coward to hurt her physically, even if he wants to throw her through the sliding doors.

"Humph! And you think she doesn’t want the same? Are you really that naive?" Keiko says, angry but keeping her posture.

"For her. I can accept anything. If that means being naive. I’m the biggest naive."

Astri chuckles and opens the sliding door. Keiko looks at Astri with disdain.

"Eavesdropping? Very elegant for someone worthy of going to the Sacred River Pavilion." Keiko says.

"It is not eavesdropping if I’m only making sure that what is mine is safe. I was just waiting for you to see that my spouses doesn’t stay with me for what I have between my legs." Astri says, hugging Bono’s arm.

He blushes at her, seeing her clinging on him like she does with her spouses. She literally called him her spouse!!

Astri looks at him, then calls him with her finger. He lowers his head to her, and she kisses his lips tenderly. His eyes widened in surprise. Her lips are so sweet that they made him amazed and wanting to taste more.

They walk away together. Astri still hugging his arm.

"I.. Are you accepting me as your spouse?" He asks this dumb question, but he felt he needed to confirm.

"Isn’t that obvious?" She giggles, and he smiles happily.

"It’s because you never said all the words. I was always wondering if I could affirm that."

"You also didn’t say all the words. Such as: Can I be your spouse?" She says, and he scratches his face in response.

"It’s true.. I’m sorry. I only said long ago I loved you."

"There’s no problem with that. You took action to express your desire. And I also did it. Many times, if I may." She says.

"Yes.. Thank you." He chuckles.

"Thank you, too. And I only act possessive with what is mine. So, that is the biggest clue you could get, too."

"I’m happy that you are. This way I can show I’m possessive, too."

"The others already accepted you, right? For you to be sleeping in my bedroom is proof of that."

"Yes... I’m already in the line." He shyly nods.

"Good.. Now you made me blush." She chuckles, blushing because he was direct to the point of something that he’s waiting.

They arrive where the others are. And they kept with the training. Renzai was watching the others training their focus, and then he showed Bono what to do when he’s back in line. Astri takes Reigan back and lets him rest on her arms.

They were moving in synchronized patterns; fluid strikes and parries, not with aggression, but with focus. Each movement was slow, intentional, like they were moving underwater. Every exhale and inhale was matched with a controlled step or strike.

Renzai was walking in circles, slowly, watching them and correcting their postures with a light touch. Seiryuu sits on her side, watching all of them, too.

"Your children are natural at this. Especially your son, Atlas." Seiryuu tells Astri.

She smiles, agreeing.

"It’s true."

"Have you never taught them what they’re learning?" He asks.

"In some ways. But now it makes sense for them. And now they know that it’s not something that only I’m capable of achieving. Learning from someone else is very important because they feel more empowered and capable. I’ll be eternally grateful for what Lord Renzai is doing." She answers.

Seiryuu smiles.

"I see... That’s proof that learning is different from applying. That even if you give answers, it’s nothing if you don’t know how to use it." He says.

"Exactly. Besides, Lord Renzai is way more experienced than me at teaching. I might be who I am, but I’m still learning. And I’m learning from him, too."

After some hours of training, they rest, and then Renzai, Kenzou, and Seiryuu bring them water. Renzai kneels and sits, Kenzou and Seiryuu, too. The others mimic their way of sitting because it expresses discipline. Renzai, Kenzou and Seiryuu first throw a little bit of water on the grass before drinking.

The others do the same.

"Each day, we honor life. Not only our lives. The earth, the water, all that sustain us. When we give, we will always receive. Instead of acting for yourself, first give. That’s why we always offer the first sip to Nature." Renzai teaches.

Renzai gestures to everything around.

"We cleanse our homes. We sweep our pathways. We recite affirmations that call peace and gratitude into being. These are not habits. They are mirrors, or reflections, of our inner world. Reflections of our mind. If we see somewhere messed or dirty, it’s because our mind is the same way." Renzai says.

Everyone was listening carefully and feeling inspired by what he was teaching.

Before the training was over, Astri was already making dinner. She has a little army to feed, so she started early. While she was cooking, she was teaching the servants how to cook, and they were learning very attentively. They try to help Astri, and she appreciates the help; besides, it’s a lot of food.
