The arrival of Blanwen provided a much-needed ally for Lai, who was already struggling to hold his ground.

Esie stood by, observing them battle two enraged Beastmen.

He injected the last vial of potion into Lai.

"I’ll turn you into one of my kind!" Esie’s eyes flickered with a manic madness, his pupils trembling, seemingly on the verge of exploding from excitement.

They all left together and boarded the vehicle.
