The Beastman’s embrace was cool. He wore a light, blue-and-white gradient tunic slung diagonally over his upper body, covering his left chest, paired with dark blue pants.

The Beastman held her with one arm and slowly lifted the mask from her face. His dark green eyes narrowed slightly, a glimmer of light flashing within them.

The Beastman’s forcefulness and dominance instantly shattered the composure Si Shuo was struggling to maintain.

The jeers and shouts of the surrounding Beastmen seemed to fade into the distant horizon. After a long moment, Gong You pressed his forehead against hers. The dark green of his eyes shimmered with light as he said in a husky voice, "My honor."

Si Shuo was still dazed, paraded all the way home in Gong You’s arms, and she still couldn’t quite process what had happened.

She looked at her other three Beast Husbands, pointed at herself, and then at the "Gate God," Gong You. "Did I really just spirit Gong You, the man who held his ground in the Beast Fighting Arena for five years, home with me?"

Zhi Le nodded, feeling the pressure mount. "Yes. The kitty’s looks are just too deceiving. All it takes is for you to act a little cute, and few can resist, right?"

Ji Liang pulled her into his arms, hissing with a soft laugh. "Little Shuoshuo, shouldn’t you finally make it official with me tonight?"

With the gazes of a roomful of Beast Husbands fixed on her, Si Shuo found it all a bit... intense.

Her face burning, she buried her head in his chest and whispered, "I bought some fire-red Beast Skins when I was out shopping today. I’ll make us a set of wedding clothes. After dinner, we’ll bow to heaven and earth, and then... then we’ll be bonded."

Ji Liang couldn’t contain his excitement and let out a couple of hisses. "I’ll go make the clothes right now!"

After her bath, Xu Chi dried her hair and even styled it for her in two French braids.

She slowly walked up to Ji Liang, who was also dressed in fire-red.

His usual nonchalance was gone, replaced by a rare solemnity. His gaze was deep as he looked at her.

Si Shuo smiled softly as she stood before him. She cleared her throat and asked:

"Beastman Ji Liang, are you willing to follow the female, Si Shuo, who stands before you? To love her and protect her, to offer your Beast Mark and be bonded with her, to accompany her for the rest of your long life, and to raise your cubs together?"

Ji Liang’s eyes trembled. He nodded emphatically and said with conviction, "I am willing! From this day forward, Si Shuo will be my only goddess."

Tears welled in Si Shuo’s eyes. ’How fortunate I am. To think I died of heart failure in the modern world, only to be reborn on the Beast World Continent and receive their protection and devoted love.’

She whispered to him, "Now it’s your turn to ask me!"

Ji Liang froze for a second, then let out a low, hissing laugh. He looked at her and asked, enunciating each word:

"Female Si Shuo, are you willing to accept the Beast Mark of the Beastman, Ji Liang, who stands before you? To be bonded with him, to face the warm springs and cold winters to come together, and to raise your cubs together?"

Si Shuo nodded eagerly. "I am willing! I’m so thankful that Ji Liang came into my life."

She took Ji Liang’s hand and faced the sea, bowing deeply. "A bow to heaven and earth." Then she faced the direction of the Beast God and bowed again. Finally, the two bowed to each other and drank wine with their arms linked.

Only then did Si Shuo open her arms to him with a smile and announce, "The ceremony is complete!"

Ji Liang swept her up into his arms. The little female in his embrace looked at him shyly, then leaned in close to his ear and whispered, "Now, to the bridal chamber..."

How could he possibly wait? He strode into the room, shut the door, and set up a Protective Shield. Tossing the little female onto the bed, he began to enjoy the feast he had craved for so long.

Si Shuo pursed her lips and tugged on his collar. Her hand touched his neck, and the wounds of her own making vanished without a trace.
