"Wow, I didn’t know that those from city Z5 are so well-informed, yes, unlike other cities, those near the boundary would train children to become soldiers and almost seventy percent of their populace would join the military." John look at him with admiration.

Sean finally realizes why this city wasn’t overtaken, the pressure that comes from mystique creatures unearthed the potential of humans around here.

"In fact, other than your strange city, the first ten cities built in this zone sends some of their martial artists here to guard." John added.

"City Z5 is just too far from this place and going back and forth isn’t really ideal for the Federation branch of our city." Sean explains but he actually doesn’t know about the origin of the soldiers here.

They were then brought to a large arena, Sean said something that left John and the others speechless.

"Since I’m not going to fight in the competition later, I’m going to join this battle, replacing Emirose."

Jericho wants to strangle him, many of the students aren’t even martial artists and yet he wants to join.

"Bobby, you’re the last place holder, go and take the stage, you must not leave until you’re defeated." He commanded.

"Okay teacher Sean." Just as the team captains and vice captains were trying to make the rules, Bobby steps on the stage.

"As per instruction of our teacher, I’m taking this arena! Defeat me and you can take my place, I’m Bobby Glut, iron ranker, tenth place holder, substitute of City Z5, pet beast, Uncommon Grade Earth Pig!"

Everyone immediately turns their gaze towards him, hearing his words, the expression of the other teams becomes unpleasant.

"You fat bxstard! You dare state you own this arena!? Fat chance!" A burly man from City Z3 jumps into the stage.

He introduced himself as the reserve members of City Z3, holding the place of eight position amongst his group.

"I’ll preside as the referee in this match, I’m Sean, the team captain of City Z5, peak of bronze rank, combat strength equal to gold rank."

Sean’s words shocked everyone, then one by one, the students looks at those from City Z5, they felt that he was just bragging.

"Hahaha! One arrogant bxstard after another! Combat strength of gold rank!? Was your head hit by a donkey!?" The burly man laughs.

Bobby’s eyes becomes fierce, he respects Sean very much and insulting him is considered as a death sentence for him.

Sean doesn’t care about his words, he asks the two sides if they’re ready.

"I’m ready, teacher!"

"Hahaha! Teacher!? You must be an old man posing as a kid, I’ll teach your student here the difference between fats and muscles!"

With a wave of Sean’s hand, Bobby dashes together with his pet beast.

The burly man sneers and his pet beast which looks like a gorilla also charges at Bobby.

BAM! The man feels his body being hit by a car, he was thrown out of the arena, the same can be said to his pet beast.

"Winner, Bobby from City Z5!" Sean announces the winner but this enrages the burly man, he tries to stand up but he feels his body being heavy.

"Useless waste!" Another person enters the arena, it was from Z1.

"I’m Zhang, iron rank, also last place holder, from City Z1, pet beast, Living Armor!"

’As expected, they train their students to become soldiers, this is going to be fun.’ Sean smiles.

After asking both side if they’re ready, he signals the match.

Zhang instantly charges towards Bobby, the two of them clashes, the former was pushed back.

’Quick thinking and great battle instinct, Bobby’s fighting style revolves around charges, that meant he needs distance to generate force.’ Sean thought.

Bobby realizing that his opponent wouldn’t let him get some distance was flustered.

Zhang wasn’t like him, seeing him getting flustered, a fierce light flashes in his eyes as he starts sending blows.

’Fa Jin? No just similar to it, incomplete but still enough to manifest the strength of the user to a high degree.’ Sean thought.

Bobby keels over, his fighting style only revolves in charges making him weak in close combat.

’I got you now!’ Zhang’s eyes lights up as he sends a powerful blow at Bobby’s stomach.

BAM! Zhang was slapped away, the palm strike was strong enough to break the blood vessels in his nose.

’Wrong move! He shouldn’t had targeted the stomach, Bobby’s fat protected him.’

Bobby starts sending more palm strike, at first Zhang was having a hard time adapting to it but since the strikes are top straightforward and lacking mastery, he managed to dodge them after a while.

POW! A straight to Bobby’s face, the difference between experience is now showing but Bobby doesn’t want to go down so quickly.

PAK! He slaps Zhang away but was blocked by his shoulder and arm.

The force still shoves him to the side but not enough to truly hurt him.

’I don’t know if Zhang is unaware but he’s fighting a martial artists, like him, he has a pet beast.’ Sean thought.

Zhang smiles widely but felt the ground beneath him becoming uneven.

The Earth Pig was finally able to make a move, now that there’s some distance between the two, it wouldn’t need to worry about harming it’s owner.

BANG! Bobby tackles him, not caring about landing in a pathetic manner.

Before Zhang can recover his balance, he was hit by a tackle from the Earth Pig.

"Let’s go, Piggy!" Bobby and his pet beast charges from opposite sides towards Zhang.

They’re intent on crushing him with their combination.

Before they can hit him, Zhang leaps up, causing the two to crash amongst each other.

SCREECH! Compared to Bobby, his pet beast was still able to recover and opens its mouth to bite Zhang’s foot.

Zhang’s armor suddenly moves, enveloping his foot, the bite did nothing to him.

He then crashes with an elbow on Piggy’s head, the blow made it dizzy, just as he was about to attack once again, Bobby crashes into him.

The two of them falls to the floor, Bobby was still dizzy from the accidental crash between him and Piggy, this further worsens with his tackle.

Zhang gets up and starts pummeling Bobby, he’s shocked to see that he’s defending himself well.

Bobby’s training is still in the early phase but he has enough experience of being brought to the ground, beaten black and blue.

He now developed a method to protect himself, Zhang frowns, he quickly tries to get away from Bobby but he feels his legs coiling on his waist.

SCREECH! Piggy screeches, it recovers slightly from its dizziness and charges towards Zhang.

’Well, well, I didn’t expect that you had it in you, Bobby.’ Sean praises.

BANG! Zhang shakes from the impact, he protected himself by using his armor but he can’t continue taking such attacks.

He starts pummeling Bobby again, trying to knock him out but he’s defending himself well.

’A battle of attrition? Bobby’s not going to fare well against such an experienced opponent.’ Sean thought.

"Disgraceful! How can one learn such a technique? Will it help against mystique creatures!?" The captain of Z1 complains.

Sean can’t refute him, such method is more so effective against humans rather than beasts.

Bobby doesn’t care about that, he’s only thinking of one thing and is that to survive against Zhang.

While he was being pummeled, his pet beast was trying it’s best to take down his opponent.

Sean watches calmly, with his Heal, he doesn’t need to worry about them, also, he’s quite close, he can stop any life-threatening attack.

SWISH!

Blood flies everywhere as the armor of Zhang transforms into thorny armor, piercing through the skin of Bobby.

"I was trying to save this move against him but you forced me to, be honored to be defeated by this move."

Bobby grits his teeth and doesn’t let go, blood is seeping through his legs.

"I’m sorry." Zhang states before punching him towards a part where men felt extreme pain.

Sean shakes his head, this battle is already finished.

"Winner, Zhang from City Z1!" Sean raises his hand and pronounced the winner.

Then in the shocked eyes of everyone, he pats the injured part of Bobby and they recovered instantly.

"Whoever wants to challenge him, can now-" Before he finishes his words, Onichichi steps into the arena.

Seeing such a small girl enters, together with her twintail hair style and cute outfit, everyone immediately starts laughing.

"Onichichi Borne, ninth place holder from City Z5, iron ranker, pet beast Water Dog!" She bows before assuming a fighting stance.

"Wait! Let him recover first." Sean waves his hand and a gentle energy surges towards Zhang.

Seeing this, he frowns and asks. "Why didn’t you do this on that fat guy earlier?"

"Hmm? Oh, you mean Bobby, well, he really didn’t used that much energy considering he took down his opponent in just one move."

Zhang can only accept this explanation as he prepares to fight Onichichi.

With Sean’s signal, the battle starts, Zhang immediately dashes towards Emirose but was stopped on his track when he managed to enter her attack range.

Jab! Pow!

Fighting in the middle distance is what she’s good at, her pet beast is standing in front of her as a shield.

Pow! Pow! Pow! She hits him in the places which he has no armor, she targets his face more.

Zhang frowns, he tries to take a step forward but was pushed back by the Water Dog.

’This attack doesn’t deal that much damage but still, they’re annoying.’ He thought.

BANG! A water ball hits him in the face, just as he was reeling in the pain, Onichichi dashes close to him and sends a powerful liver blow.

This was the first time he’s experiencing this type of pain.

Pow! A straight to his chin, his head was reeling, before he can recover, he was hit by a water ball in his leg, causing him to wobble and nearly falls.

BAM! A right hook to the face, Onichichi ducks, then, using her already small stature, she punches his manhood.

The pain made him turn white, he quickly commands his armor to cover his manhood. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Without the armor, Onichichi shifts her attack on his body.

BAM! A straight to his solar plexus, the continuous attacks on his vital parts made it impossible for Zhang to recover.

One-two! Two direct hits to the face.

Uppercut! When he starts crouching because of the pain, she sends an uppercut to his chin.

A straight to his throat!

A blow to his liver!

Water ball to his stomach!

Low kick! Low kick!

When he stumbles, she swings at his temple, the fight is basically one-sided.

Sean can’t help but look at Raleigh, hoping that he would take pity to his member and asks for a surrender.

Unfortunately, his gesture wasn’t returned and Raleigh watches with a cold expression.

Sean frowns but as a referee, he needs to stay impartial and can only watch.

A low kick to the knee, a hook to the face, a straight to the throat, a straight to the chest.

Sean suddenly steps forward and stops Onichichi.

"I declare, Onichichi of City Z5 as the winner!"

He waves his hand and heals Zhang, he’s still unconscious.

He also waves his hand to heal Onichichi, she uses the life force to regain her lost vital force.

"Whoever wants to challenge her can now step forward."

Two individuals leaps to the arena, a member of City Z2 and Z3.

Sensing each other’s intent, they frown, they glare at each other.

"It seems that we have two challengers, Onichichi, as the current ringleader, you can choose which one you want to accept."

Without hesitation, she chooses the burly guy, she dislikes these people from Z3 and has always wanted to teach them a lesson.

"Diamond from Z3, seventh place holder, pet beast Giant!" His loud voice was heard by everyone.

’A giant?’ Sean was intrigued, there are multiple species of Giants but they belong to only one race.
